getting started with the l6384e

Hello,

I set up the following minimal circuit to get started with the l6384e high voltage half-bridge driver[1]:

Vcc is 5V. And with the 100K resistor on DT/SD I measure 2.2V. Which is well above the Vdt=0.5V as given in table 5 of [1], hence the device should be enabled.

Now following the timing diagram in figure 3 in the datasheet[1], I would expect LVG to be high. Unfortunately it is 0V.

Is my expectation wrong? Did I miss something?

Thank you.

I thought I checked for Vcc requirements. I should have rechecked before posting here.

The solution is that the l6384e has undervoltage lockout and in table 7 of [1]:

Parameter                      Typ.

--------------------------     ----

VCC UV turn-on threshold        12V

VCC UV turn-off threshold       10V

Sorry for that.

Hi, i'm having the same kind of problem with the L6384E. I'm using 12V on the Vcc, do you think it should works?

The strange thing about my aplication is the Vce, the voltage on Collector e Emissor doesn't get steady. As shown on the image.
