Hello, I developed by the past some FOC controllers with the STM32 PMSM FOC Firmware Library v3.0.
For the phase current measurement, I used isolated current sensor (section 4.3 of STM32 PMSM MC Library v3.0 User manual.pdf).
For a new design, I thinking about remove the isolated current sensor, and measure phase current with the Vds voltage across low side mosfets during ON State. I know it's possible because I seen some controller doing this way (and they use STM32).
I think this technique for current measurement is similar to the 3 shunts topology explained in the section 4.1 of STM32 PMSM MC Library v3.0 User manual.pdf ?
Do you think I can use the software library as is, just by configuring it in the 3 shunts topology ?
