Hi all,

I am using ST10Flasher 2.3C. I use this tool to flash ST10F276. When I load the hex file it says that ''Your code uses flash in both segments 0 and 1. Only one of them can be programmed''. I don't know how to solve this. Is there any limitation in ST10Flasher that only code of size less than 64KB can be flashed. Kindly help me out to solve this

Hello Nagu,

No this is not a limitation. It is a normal message which allows you choosing to map the first 32kbytes of the internal flash either in the segment0 or in the segment1. In other terms ROMS1 bit in SYSCON register is set or reset. For more details, please refer to the ST10F276 datasheet (section 5 INTERNAL FLASH MEMORY page 26).

It is preferable to use the last ST10Flasher version (version 2.4B) with the ST10F276. Please contact your ST local contact to get it.
