Yes, it is possible to change the power components suggested by eDesignStudio.
To do it, on the schematic view, click on the power component you want to change and select the one better meet your needs. 
If you need to use specific devices not present in the list, the tool offers the possibility to add custom components.
To do it, click on the ''add component'' push button (located on the bottom side of the selection list) and insert all the relevant parameters.
