Identify this component - LIS344ALH?

Hi,

Are you able to identify the below products from their product markings?  I believe they should both be the LIS344ALH but one of them is behaving strangely. The 34AH marked product is reading 1g (2.332V) in the z axis when placed flat on a desk. The ones with markings 34AL are reading 0.7g (2.117V) when in the same position. I have switched the ICs around to rule out a PCB fault, but the difference always follows the IC, suggesting there is a difference between the AL and AH marking. I can't find any details on the datasheet outlining product markings to understand the codes printed on top of the IC.

Thanks

Welcome @Matt_UK, to the community!

I am extremely sorry to have to inform you that the LIS344xx accelerometers have long been discontinued and that STMicroelectronics no longer has any information about them. As sensor markings are/were also still internal information, you will probably not find any information in the vastness of the otherwise never-forgetting internet.

I am very sorry not to be able to give you more pleasant information.

Regards
/Peter

The chips from rs also have  AH marking:

So just replace the chips with wrong marking.
