BSDL file for stpcc5hebc chip

Can anyone help?

I downloaded the stpce1.bsdl BSDL file for the stpcc5hebc device

but it seems to have errors in it.

The error I get is :-

error 'DEVICE_ID' not recognized in STD_1149_1_1990 BSDL

Compilation failed.

If I change the date code to 1994 it gets a bit further but fails for a

similar error further on. I need a working BSDL file for this device for testing.

Any ideas?

Hi,

the stpce1.bsdl BSDL file is not corresponding to STPCC5hebc device. It corresponds to Elite device. you downloaded the wrong file.

Attached the right file to STPCC5hebc device. you can download it again from the web site.

Thanks for replying, I looked at that bsdl file before and

it compiles ok but the pin mapping does not use the pin names

on the cct diagram (1,2,3,4,5 and not a1,a2,a3,a4,a5 etc...) thats

why I thought it was the one which I was looking at as that one has all the correct pin names. I'll have to find a way of converting the pin names

to a1,a2 etc...

Thanks again. Tim.

Hi,

I've looked at the c5bsdl file you sent me and the pins do not

seem corralate with the pins on the datasheet for the device.

Are you sure this is the correct bsld file?

YES, the c5bsdl file corresponds to the STPCC5 device (SIP140)but it oes not use the same pin names as in the datasheet ( AF3, A3,..) and it should compile.

For the C4BSDL file corresponding to the SIP130 STPCC4, the pins names are exactly as in the datasheet.

I've tried the sip130 and it compiles with the correct pin names

so I'm going with that one for a starter.
