1. Regarding the development board: Does EV-L99LDLH32GEN require an external driver to work? Or does the development board come with its own driver chip?

2. In addition to driving LEDs, can it also drive other loads?

Welcome @Jing_H, to the community!

  1. the board EV-L99LDLH32GEN contains two 32-channel LED / OLED driver with automotive CAN FD Light interface chips L99LDLH32, with which O/LED can be controlled directly.
  2. you can certainly also drive other loads if they fit the specifications of the L99LDLH32 (e.g. 32 channels, constant current, high side driven, 1...15mA/channel). What other loads do you want to drive?
