Hi everyone,

my problem - I use stvd7 v.3.11. I want to use the simulator to debug my code, so according to chapter 4.1.1 in the help home page, I go to debug instrument->target settings and I'm suppose to select SIM. only I don't have that option available. the only options available are indart-stx and pk-st7flite2.

well, how can I get a simulator??

hanoche,

you may be using the Softec version of stvd7.

This software is customized for Softec indart-stx and development kit boards. Therefore it does not provide the simulator.

If you want to use the ST7 software simulator, you should download STVD7 3.5.0 from this site.
