I have an application where I need to encapsulate the ST7 Lite, I have a connector on the PCB for my I/O.
I would like to bring out to the same connector the ICCCLK & ICCDATA lines so I can programme & debug with my Indart STX programming tool. Any advice on how to protect these lines from over voltage and short circuit etc. i.e. what seies resistance can I place in these 2 lines 2 allow the ICP to operate but allow protection to my ST7 Regards Brian [ This message was edited by: BrianM on 15-04-2005 13:56 ]2005-04-15 08:23 PM
Hi,
You have to connect a 4.7K or more value resistor only if you are using the pins for input mode in your application. If you are using them for output, no need of any resistors. you can see the indart user manual. Hope this helps. bye venky
