Posted on May 17, 2011 at 10:00I have introduced a dead time in the signal generated by the MC controller, just as indicated in the RM. My PCLK is 24MHz, Dead time counter type is 6 bits and value 0xF.
When I checked the waveform with my scope, it appears that the dead time is affected by a random jitter of about 120ns!!!
The jitter of the two outputs of the same phase (U in this case) are correlated: when the ''H'' output dedtime is increased, the ''L'' output is decreased. This is a two states jitter (0-120ns). Strange isn't it?
Does someone encountered this before?
