Posted on November 06, 2005 at 08:29We are planning to use an STR710 microcontroller within a research project where low power consumption is one of the most limiting factors. In order to reduce power consumption to the lowest value, I am in need of an ''extremely low power'' external RAM (about 1MB). I can give no number on maximum of milliamps here, since we are still at the beginning of the design process and many parameters are still pretty much unknown. I only can say: the less power the better.
Are there any recommendations which RAM chips fulfill my requirements and do their job with the STR710?
