Deleted Post - STR73x Bootloader

Could i ask why my post regarding STR73x bootloader was deleted ?
Was the discussion about programming STR73x device not allowed ? I was only asking as this device has a internal bootloader why do ST not release a GUI frontend for programming as per other manufacturers. They released versions for previous arm7 based devices. This would be an plus for ST and help me design the parts in. I can write my own front end and probably will end up doing so, but i do not like re-inventing the wheel so to speak. ST has now the bootloader in the STR730 via the UART.
As for the PC application, Raisonance supports it,and is called Rflasher, you can use to Mass program your flash in any production line using the RS232. http://www.raisonance.com/products/RFlasher.php And you can download the full Ride Software For Free. The only hardware, you should use is : Serial standard RS232 cable + STR730 board with minimum hardware as described in the System memory Application Note(AN2260 on internet), You can use an Eval board or a starter kit for it. You can also build your own Flasher following the protocol described in AN2260, With best regards, :o :o :o :o :-] [ This message was edited by: Rave on 03-04-2006 15:00 ]2006-04-05 09:36 PM
