I'm trying to use UNICO with an eval board that contains the LPS22HB sensor.  I cannot find this device under their Environmental sensors device list.  Is there a way to add it to the list, or to update UNICO?  I'm using version 4.2.0.0.  Is there an updated version that has the LPS22HB pressure sensor in it?

Hi,

You can find attached the last version of Unico GUI (4.6.1.0).

The package also includes the last fw version in order to upgrade the emotion board.

The package will be published online soon.

Regards

Antonella

OK I have the same problem. Updated unico from the file you posted and upgraded the firmware in the 109V2 motherboard and while unico comes up with the STEVAL-MET001V1 as a selection it won't recognise the device. I have two STEVAL MET165V1

which work fine on the motherboard both before and after upgrade.

Sorry, that should be I have a couple of STEVAL -MKI165V1 sensors.

Unico is showing GUI 4.6.1.0 Beta, firmware 4.0.14 after upgrade

Unico works but when LPS22HB selected comes back with ''wrong device ID''.

Hi,

can you send me some photos  of top and bottom of the STEVAL-MET001V1 adapter board?

Thanks in advance

Thanks, Antonella,

Images in attached zip file.

FWIW I have checked continuity between the parts at the visible pads at the device and the pins and all seems OK.

Trace code on parts tested 11621012 11 11 and 116211013 11 11

Mike

Hi,

Mike Borgelt gave me one of his LPS22 sensors for test, since we work together on the same project.  I can read it, both the Device ID, and the pressure values, and can confirm that it works ok.  My test rig uses an Atmel processor to do the SPI reads and writes to the device, and serial comms to a host PC for diagnostics and data transfer.  No problem there, but it would still be nice to have the Unico tool work too.  Seems to me the problem may just be that the Device ID the Unico driver is using is the wrong one.  Cartainly the DeviceID I read from the actual chip is value hex B1 as given in the datasheet.

Hi Guys,

Any progress on the problem? Are we doing something wrong with the STEVAL MKI 109V2 and STEVAL MET 001V1 combination?

Once we have tested the 3 MET001V1 I have we're ready to buy a bunch of them.

hi,

The question is same to me. And I have the motherboard of the stevel-109v2, my GUI,namely unico, is a version of 4.2.0.0.In the motherboard there is no corresponding STEVAL-MKI109v2, just could be found STEVAL-MKI109v1.  That is to say, i should update the fireware in my hand?

Thanks
