LIS2DW12 - orientaion event when no event should be. Hello, I am running my accelerometer on a train (circular motion on a flat surface) when no orientation event should be raised, however I am getting some events of orientation change, why?

In my movement I am not going over the threshold for orientation change (we put it at 50%)m, so this is really not cleare why.

Thank you for your help

Hi Maya, if you are rotating on a plane, you will periodically change the orientation of the X and Y (from positive to negative and so on, like you were rotating in a cartesian plane).

For example, you can start from the position(e), and if you rotate fast enough one of the two axis could reach 1g, making the XH or YH interrupt flag rising.

Be sure also that the 3 axis are well calibrated (with the user offset registers).
