Input pin capacitance of ASM330LHH

Hi Team,

I would like to know the input capacitance for the pins (specifically for I2C pins) of the ASM330LHH IMU sensor.

Hi @HEMANTH.S ,

 

We don't provide the exact value but certainly it must not exceed the specification capacity limits found in the literature, for example in this document.

However, it is not recommended to put capacitances on the I2C lines. Indeed, the capacitance creates with the resistor an RC filter which attenuates the clock front, and by increasing the capacitance, the clock may no longer a square wave, and the I2C stops working.
