do you refer to the fact that, for example, in the X-CUBE-MEMS1 firmware function pack there are no LSM9DS1 drivers in the Drivers\BSP\Components folder?
If so, my suggestion is to consider the LSM9DS1 C drivers and examples on Github and insert them in your CubeMX project, configuring it according to the hardware platform you are using (especially for the correct configuration of the SPI communication interface).
