Yes, the correct marking for the L3G4200DTR is AGD8.

I have no information about a marking AGD1, maybe @Eleon BORLINI​ knows more about it?

It may have been a custom part built to Apple specification, similar to the L3G4200D. It's shown in a couple of tear-down analysis (iPhone 4), and probably built in the 100,000's. So perhaps wouldn't surprise me if it ended up in the secondary market.

If it is used by Apple, it is most likely a custom part that only the respective customer is authorized to make a statement about. So you would have to ask Apple about this part.
