Does anyone have an idea what supposed to be the top marking of L3G4200D?

It may have been a custom part built to Apple specification, similar to the L3G4200D. It's shown in a couple of tear-down analysis (iPhone 4), and probably built in the 100,000's. So perhaps wouldn't surprise me if it ended up in the secondary market.

Hello my friend,

We haven't tested the parts yet. We found inventory with one of our suppliers and I'm trying to validate the parts, so any info you can help me with, I will appreciate it a lot !

I tried to look for any PCN or info regarding the recall you mentioned and couldn’t find anything ? I really need your help…

Thank you, @Community member, for bringing this question to my attention.

Yes, the correct marking for the L3G4200DTR is AGD8.

I have no information about a marking AGD1, maybe @Eleon BORLINI knows more about it?

Regards

/Peter

If it is used by Apple, it is most likely a custom part that only the respective customer is authorized to make a statement about. So you would have to ask Apple about this part.
