We are working in M41T65 for watch dog timer. M41T65 WDT output is connected to the microcontroller reset pin. Refer attached schematic. We had successfully set the value of watch dog time 0x0A (4 seconds) at once. after 4 seconds, it should reset the microcontroller. But we are not getting the reset in microcontroller.
While reading flag register (0x0F), It always giving the value of 0x04. the oscillator fail bit is always on. I tried the stop bit on and off immediately for restart the oscillator after 4 seconds of initial power up. That also not helped us.
Please suggest me to solve this problem.
