First I tried again using the usual method which is the use of the link "already registered". Failed
Afterwards I filled again the fields to "register now", _and accessed
the area directly_. Not necessary to do anything else _just to clicked
the "register"_ button/command.

It is really a bizarre behavior. The link "Already registered" should work. I tried with several email addresses and it works perfectly.
