Hi, I'm a newby about bluetooth. I bought X_NUCLEO IDB04A1 in order to use it with my Arduino R3. After attaching the shield to Arduino, I expected to find it in the list of available bluetooth device, but no. Do I have to load some special code on Arduino in order to enable the shield? I found no example code. I'm using Debian Wheezy. Thanks a lot.

ps: my bluetooth pc adapter works, I can see my smartphone among the available device.

Currently, ST does not support X_NUCLEO IDB04A1 outside Nucleo Motherboard.

The STM32 Cube firmware X_NUCLEO IDB04A1 is available on the following link:

In principle, this software package could be customized, ported in order to support the Arduino platform.

Please notice that this forum is not intended to be used for X_NUCLEO IDB04A1 shield support requests. ST is working on setting up a dedicated forum for this shield and it should be opened by end of this year.
