STM32CubeMX (MCUs)

Hey guys,I see an spi6_it signal in the NVIC table in the reference manual RM0468.I'm trying to use the NVIC interrupt for I2S6 and there is no tab for it in the MX Cube.I'm also using I2S1,I2S2, I2S3 which have the NVIC and I'm able to use interrupt.Is this just an MX cube problem? I also do not see the "Real Audio Frequency" and "Error between selected and real" numbers updated in the I2S6 tab. I'm using the same clock source for all I2S's. If this is an error in MX cube, how would I setup an NVIC in code?

When configuring ADC3 for VREF and/or TEMP acquisition then the necessary call to LL_ADC_SetCommonPathInternalCh(ADC3_COMMON, LL_ADC_PATH_INTERNAL_TEMPSENSOR | LL_ADC_PATH_INTERNAL_VREFINT);is not made. Hi,As all my project has been made with support of STMCubeMX, it comes the time to integrate uSD card but some problems came.Well, I enabled SDMMMC1, in some STM video I see DMA tab, for this board only 4 tabs. Just choose SD 1 bit .FatFs enabled but no BSPFreeRTOS USE_NEWLIB_REENTRANT.Generated the code despite some warningSTMCubeMX, for this board has also a sample project, I opened it and spawn in eclipse, to compare to my project and here comes the questions:The sample project calls BSP_SD_Init(0) (which calls MX_SDMMC1_SD_Init) , the STCubeMX calls MX_SDMMC1_SD_Init. After Both calls MX_FATFS_Init. What is the correct things to do? Forget STCubeMX for uSD card and import code from sample project?SD_ClockConfig is compatible with clock settings generated by CudeMx?Thanks for help

I already got this issue for the last 3 updates, so I made a backup before updating to v1.7.The Core/Scr folder was completely wiped out. All the files gone,Such serious issues are absolutely unacceptable!

The code generation of tsl_user.h from the .ioc file appears to be broken.Firstly if you change the TS configuration in System Core, the updated configuration doesn't show up in Touchsensing middleware options until you have saved the .ioc file or closed and reopened it.Secondly and critically the generated file doesn't reflect the configuration. Creating a system with four basic keys on Groups 1-4, it always configured Channel 0 as G2_IO2 even if that was not configured or was used elsewhere. Reducing this to a two-key system just using Groups 3&4 crashed Java, see attached files.

In clock configuration for STM32H723ZET the oscillator input is limited to 4-48MHz.The datasheet says 4-50MHz.I'm using a 49.152MHz oscillator in bypass mode and this results in a clock tree error.

Hi,I am using STM32F469 discovery kit for a audio processing study. I am using STM32CubeMX (ver 6.2.0) for project setup and init code generation. In my application, I found a clock sync problem on MIC and Codec Playback. After some tracings, I found the code seemed different to GUI setting. On GUI, I took PLLI2SQ for SAI-A clock source as below:but I found that auto-gen code was set to SAI_CLKSOURCE_PLLSAI. Then I manually changed it to SAI_CLKSOURCE_PLLI2S, then sync problem seemed gone.Would it be a bug of the tool? Or would I miss something else?Good day,Young

Hello All,I tried to generate a test project with STM32CubeMX version 6.1.2 for micro STM32F334R8. I setup my project to generate mostly LL libraries, when setting the clock configuration, HSI (8MHz RC) is enabled, AHB prescaler is /8, then APB2 prescaler is set to /2. My intention is to have Pclk2 set to 500KHz here. When I generate the code from STM32CubeMX with these settings, the below SystemClock_Config function is generated. Line 32 is setting again APB1 prescaler, instead of APB2. Is it a known bug? I have no problem in updating the generated code, but everytime I regenerate the code, I would have to update this line of code. Hi all,I am trying to get LwIP running on my STM32F769I-Discovery board. It works fine with the provided netconn-example.But when I try to generate a new project inside CubeIDE the dhcp-discovery is always failing. I can not see anything when running my code using Wireshark.Can anybody provide me a working example based on a project generate from a recent CubeMX version? I'm working on a low power project using the Stm32f103 (blue pill) and I've been having problems, which I'm pretty sure are related to Serial wire debug , I am using a low frequency ( 256 pre-scaler) to save power on the HCLK , and every time I attempt to Debug ( after pressing Reset since I'm using openocd with this bluepill clone that I unfortunately cannot return at the moment) I get these errors:Error: Failed to enable the FPBPolling target STM32F103C8Tx.cpu failed, trying to reexamineExamination failed, GDB will be halted. I have used stm32cubemx v5.2 to create my project .Now i want to update only Uart drivers to drivers of cubemx V6.3 (latest drivers)How to do it ?Is it safe to just replace ?stm32l0xx_hal_uart.c and stm32l0xx_hal_uart.h with newer drivers ?

I´m working with a STM32F429ZI board, CubeMX 7.0, Cube IDE 1.7 and STMF32 library version 1.26.0 . I´d like configure ADC1, ADC2 and ADC3 with Tripple mode to convert 3 ADC's channels with "Regular simultaneous mode". So, I did the following tests:1) Configure ADC 1 and ADC 2 in "dual mode", DMA with buffer (circular), ADC 1 trigger by timer 2, and "Dual regular simultaneus mode only" and the project run.2)  Configure ADC 1, ADC 2 and ADC3 in "triple mode", DMA with buffer (circular), ADC 1 trigger by timer 2, and "Triple regular simultaneus mode only" and the project doesn´t run. When I enable the dma1, dma2 and dma3 handler in the program crash. With I disable dma2 or dma3, the program run. So I´m not sure how configure the ADC´s triple mode. 3) I´ve just configure the project to use "Triple regular conversion only", but I know there is a delay between the conversions. Neither the stand-alone STM32CubeMX nor the one integrated in the STM32CubeIDE correctly includes the ARM CMSIS DSP software pack into a generated project.When trying to generate the project with the CMSIS DSP selected as Sources, all the .C files included by the CMSIS DSP source files are missing from the project (eg. the BasicMathFunctions.c includes arm_abs_f32.c, arm_abs_q15.c, ... which are all missing).Looking at the pack description file ARM.CMSIS.pdsc all the respective <file> entries for the 'Source' variant of the DSP <component> files are completely missing, even though the actual files are present into the package itself (eg. for the BasicMathFunctions.c they are under CMSIS\DSP\Source\BasicMathFunctions).When trying to generate the project by importing the CMSIS DSP as a library, the library file is not copied into the project. Hi, I kindly need your help. I have a STM32F769 and TCP server application . I am using LWIP stack . In my application server is arm and PC is client. When client tries to send something to arm, arm binds client’s ip address. So the connection is ok for reception and transmission. Client can change Ip address (if client wants) or another Network parameters also. But what if client forgot arm’s ip address ? I tried cmd arp -a command to list mac and ip address (bcs I know mac address) but it did not work. But when I ping to arm or send another data form pc to arm then arp -a gives me correct ip and mac address for arm. So is there any code or application or gui that we use to get ip address ? I am not sure that tcp server application is appropriate for this. Also Our client (pc) is not only one . It can be changed.(users need to use another PC ) So maybe we need a connection between client and server even their ip address cannot be known. I am not good at network protocols and network a

I just ordered a PCBA with FT232RL as USB-VCP bridge and found that these things are bulky, expensive and out of stock mostly. So why not design a USB-serial (eg. 3.3 V 9600 bd) bridge using any STM32?I am aware that CubeMX supports USB/VCP so this is a starting point already. However, to save time and effort, are there any existing projects that implement a VCP - serial bridge already? Ideally with baud rate selectable on the host (Windows 10)? Even better with working CubeMX integration (unlike most existing STM32 example programs) and CubeIDE project?No preference on family, any F1 or F0 would probably do. Maybe one with Nucleo32 (64) support.Thanks - Martin

CubeMX provides a host of MX_ functions for which I'm unable to find any documentation.I can instea find extensive HAL and LL API documentation.And these APIs overlap like MX_TIMxx_EnablePWM and HAL_TIM_PWM_InitThere is also a lot of MX_init code but there is also a lot of HAL_MSP_Init code.What's the rationale here to choose one or the other?
