I upgraded to the new development release. I can not create a OpenSTLinux project for my ioc file. I am working with the st32mp157f-dk2 and have installed the new v6.1.0 ecosystem. I have upograde rhw STM32CubeiDE TO V1.19.0.I set the SDK Root. an loaded the plugins. I have been able to create a user space and trusted applications. However, I can not get the OpenSTLinux project to load. The pictures on the webpages all have broken links:https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/How_to_manage_OpenSTLinux_projects_in_STM32CubeIDE#:~:text=From%20STM32CubeIDE%20v1.,to%20make%20project%20usage%20easier I don't know what I am not doing correctly.

We encourage you to share your feedback, ask questions, or report any issues directly on the ST Community platform. KR,Semer.
Updated post to reflect permanent fix Dear STM32CubeIDE user, Further to the recent STM32CubeIDE project creation issue, we would like to inform you that a solution is now available for you. This permanent fix applies to all STM32CubeIDE versions. Issue description When creating a new STM32 project in STM32CubeIDE, the “STM32Cube” radio button may have become unresponsive, blocking the “Next” button after the product selection screen. This prevented the project creation from being completed. Permanent fix You can apply this resolution to any STM32CubeIDE version, even if you applied the temporary workaround that we recently shared with you. Open STM32CubeIDE. Refresh the database.Go to Help > STM32Cube updater > Select “Check the Target selector Device Database Updates” Restart STM32CubeIDE If you deactivated the auto refresh function previously, you may wish to reactivate it for all your STM32Cube tools. Here is how to proceed: STM32CubeIDE:Go to Window > Preferences
I am working on STM32MP257F. I read the Artical "How to perform Secure Boot from Distribution Package". It doesn't seem to mention Sign or Sign & Encrypt FIP Binary manually. In my case it is necessary to Sign/Sign & Encrypted FIP binary manually and do it outside of Yocto. This is done only with 1 specific person and does not expose the private key. Please give me an example to Sign/Sign & Encrypt FIP binary manually using STM32_SigningTool_CLI.Thanks.
I created an STM project of the STM32MP157f-dk2 in eclipse.I've tried to build the entire A7 core linux code. How do I replace what's on the dk2 now? The dk2 just has the starter package on it.
I am working on STM32 Trusted Package Creator. I read the artical How to deploy SSP using a step-by-step approach at section "3.1.2.2. Secret file content for STM32MP2 series". I need to create a secret file that contain FIP-EDMK OTP as the image below:Could you please explain on Enc/Wrap box. When should I select No Encryption? When should I select Wrapping? When should I select Encryption? For the FIP-EDMK What should I select?

Hello,MPU: STM32MP13xxI have a basic que regarding OTP words which are not free for user to use. We are using SSP and for that we need to generate a secret file as per documentation. We want to write OTP values like 3 and 18 but we get this error message in GUI. ex. OTP_WORD_3=0x185b5a00. QUE:- Is it possible to consider OTP 3 during generation of secret file?if NO, what is the other alternative? is the Flasing of OTP via ST Cube Programmer is the only way?(with the goal in mind that we do not want to include more steps in the production scenario) REF:I have already gone through many ST Docs like below- - https://www.st.com/resource/en/user_manual/um2238-stm32-trusted-package-creator-tool-software-description-stmicroelectronics.pdf- https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/STM32CubeProgrammer#How_to_fuse_OTP- https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/STM32CubeProgrammer_OTP_management
Hi AllThis has been reported in various forms since 2019:https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mpus-products-and-hardware/freertos-does-not-run-on-stm32mp1-m4-core/m-p/302468andhttps://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mpus-embedded-software-and/hal-tick-does-not-get-incremented-on-second-debug-session-after/m-p/259405and apparently it was flagged as solved.Yes it was solved in "OpenAMP_FreeRTOS_echo" project but it was never solved in STM32CubeMX code generation for STM32MP M4 processor.Fault was in code that would enable TIMx interrupt before TIMx was initialized so it instance was NULL.Code generated by CubeMX version 6.14.1 and "STM32Cube_FW_MP1_V1.6.0" firmware still generates the same code that ebnables TIMx before TIMx.Instance is set to any value:TIMx IRQ is raised somewhere before TIMx.Instance is set and that causes IRQ service routine to disable TIMx IRQ.We've fixed that by comparing code "OpenAMP_FreeRTOS_echo" in and STM32CubeMX generated code. There enabling of TIMx IRQ was moved furt

Dear Sir/Mam We are encountering an issue with writing values into channels 0–7 of the RCC_XBARxCFGR register at the address offset 0x1018 + 0x4 * x (where x = 0 to 63).We have also observed that Writing to other channels (x = 8 to 63) works as expected and Attempts to write into RCC_XBARxCFGR(0 to 7) result in the debug control exiting and generating an error. Thanks & RegardsAkshitha Pattem
Moved from this thread. Hello @mƎALLEm I'm facing this issue on CubeMX 6.14.1. Project for STM32MP157FACx (STM32MP1 series package) v 1.7.0.
Is there a way to backup partitions or the whole contents to a file so that it can be restored later on ? For example:any idea ? It is only a programmer then ? :)
I want to use a different SD Card than the one provided with the STM32MP257DK board. I complete writing to the SD Card through STM32CubeProgrammer in boot mode, but STM32CubeProgrammer disappears without the last complete message. After that, booting does not work even if I do SD boot, and the SD Card is not partitioned. Are there any separate regulations for the SD Card that should be used with the STM32MP257DK board? Hello,I'm trying to debug firmware code for M33 in NS mode. The board is running openSTLinux6.6 BSP in opteemin mode. M33 is running at 400MHz by setting in optee DT: FLEXGEN_CFG(0, XBAR_SRC_PLL4, 0, 2) and by running in firmware:HAL_Init(); SystemCoreClockUpdate(); I used two application to test:The first one is very simple and do a GPIO (configure in output mode) set and resetLL_GPIO_SetOutputPin( (GPIO_TypeDef *) GPIOD, LL_GPIO_PIN_1 ); LL_GPIO_ResetOutputPin( (GPIO_TypeDef *) GPIOD, LL_GPIO_PIN_1 );but when I used an analyzer to watch the GPIO signal, I got a time of 1,7us for set/reset that It seems to me to slow for running at 400MHz (as you can see from the first attached image). The second application is designed to exchange data with an A35 application using two piece of shared memory and IPCC. It's a simple loopback test where M33 copy data (from 0 to 1024 bytes) to first shared memory and signal data's ready through IPCC to A35, A35 receive the data a
Hello We are currently working on LPDDR4 configuration using the STM32MP257F-DK board. While analysing the setup, we observed that in the stm32mp25-mx.dtsi file, which was generated from STM32CubeMX, certain registers appear to be missing when cross-referenced with the rm0457-stm32mp2325xx-advanced-arm-based-32-64bit-MPUs reference manual.Additionally, we noticed that these registers are being utilized in the ARM-Trusted-Firmware. However, the addresses of the missing registers fall within the reserved space as per the reference manual. We have attached a file detailing the specific registers we found missing from the reference manual. Could you kindly verify and provide guidance on where these registers are defined and how we should configure their values? Thanks & regardsAkshitha Pattem
Hello, How could STM32MP257-EV1 in DFU mode, I have followed the steps of STM32MP25 Evaluation boards - Starter Package for Android - stm32mpu,1. install SetupSTM32CubeProgrammer_win64.exe2. Run the “STM32 Bootloader.bat”3. Set the boot switches to the off position (boot from UART/USB).4. Connect the USB type-C (OTG) port (4) to the host PC that contains the downloaded image.5. Insert the delivered microSD card into the dedicated slot (5).6. Connect the USB type-C (power supply) port (1) to the power connector or a host PC, and check the power jumper position.7. Press the reset button (7) to reset the board.but when I check device manager, nothing new shows up at all.attached the picture of STM32MP257-EV1 powered on
Dear ST team,We have verified the following issues on the STM32MP257-EV1 platform, following the official guidance:https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/Getting_started/STM32MP2_boards/STM32MP257x-DK/Develop_on_Arm_Cortex-M33While creating a new project using STM32CubeIDE for the MP2 series, we encountered several issues and inconsistencies:1. OpenAMP code generation failureWhen enabling OpenAMP middleware via STM32CubeIDE, the tool does not generate the expected or necessary source files correctly, resulting in incomplete or non-functional projects.2. Unexpected resource_table requirementEven when creating a default Cortex-M33 project (non-secure) with minimal settings, the build process seems to expect a resource_table, which is typically associated with Linux-side communication. However, the generated ELF and source files are not intended for OpenAMP communication, causing confusion.3. Project structure mismatchThe automatically generated project structure from STM32CubeIDE differs sign
Hello,I’m unable to create a new project for the STM32MP2 (STM32MP251CAL3) in STM32CubeMX (Version 6.14.1). After selecting the MPU and clicking Start Project, I choose the TrustZone feature—but nothing happens. I can see a “*” appear next to “Untitled” in the top left, but no further dialog appears. When I try to select an MCU, I receive the warning:“Project Untitled has been modified would you like to save the projekt?”If I click Yes, the mouse cursor turns into the blue loading spinner and nothing else happens. In the Output window, I see: Creating: STM32MP251CALx Initializing: STM32MP251CALx Environment: STM32CubeMX Even when editing an existing project, I can click options in Pinout & Configuration, but the cursor just shows the blue loading spinner and nothing else occurs.Could you please help me resolve this?

Hello everyone,I am new to STM32 architecture and configuration. I am trying to configure new GPIO ports and pins in an STM32H745i-DISCO board. I had some previous code for the pin configuration, but I could not 100% map it to the user manual for the board. The code is the following. I could not match these definitions to any from the manual. Could anyone help me with the mapping for pins D0-D15 on the board? Thank you very much #define LD6_Port GPIOD#define LD7_Port GPIOI#define LD8_Port GPIOB#define LD9_Port GPIOC#define LD10_Port GPIOA#define B1_Port GPIOC#define LD6_Pin GPIO_PIN_3#define LD7_Pin GPIO_PIN_2#define LD8_Pin GPIO_PIN_15
