I have configured a BLE MESH with two nodes one as client and other as server . It is working well . I also want to recieve the same data that is being exchanged on Phone. Can someone tell me how this can be done and what app I must use.
I bought ST-LINK/V2 from a certified reseller, and I have WIO-5E mini with STM32WL5JC from [Seeed.com](https://Seeed.com) on the board. This WIO-5E was already programmed by another ST-LINK/V2. I connected WIO-5E to ST-LINK as required. I want to reprogam WIO-5MINI using this programator. But STM32Programmer answered:What should I do so STM32Programmer will see STM32WL5CJ from the WIO-5E mini board?

I have two stm32wb5mm dk configured as mesh server and client . I used example BLE_MESH_MODEL_SENSOR. Can someone tell me what file mentions the data that is being sent and how can I add external sensor or a way to add external service so that it can be utilised. Also how can I limit the number of nodes required because i need to use just these two and a smartphone which should recieve the data.
Hello everyone , I am try to learn lorawan on a STM32WLE5 module, I am using this repository(https://github.com/Seeed-Studio/LoRaWan-E5-Node/tree/main/Projects/Applications/LoRaWAN/LoRaWAN_End_Node) for developing lorawan application. It works well but I need put device into shutdown mode after a lorawan communication. But when I use HAL_SuspendTick();HAL_PWREx_EnterSHUTDOWNMode();commands it always restarts immediately. Hello.I have a question while using two examples(BLE_Audio_TMAP_Central, BLE_Audio_TMAP_Peripheral) provided in STM32Cube_FW_WBA_V1.4.0.This example provides voice communication via BLE.In this process, I want to transmit voice communication data via UART or SPI communication as well as BLE.However, the configuration for BLE communication is not disclosed in the shared function in the project. (tmap_.app.c, codec_mngr.h) void APP_NotifyTxAudioCplt(uint16_t AudioFrameSize)CODEC_ReceiveData(TMAPAPP_Context.cis_snk_handle[i], 1, &aSnkBuff[0] + AudioFrameSize/2 + i); void APP_NotifyRxAudioCplt(uint16_t AudioFrameSize)CODEC_SendData(TMAPAPP_Context.cis_src_handle[i], 1, &aSrcBuff[0] + AudioFrameSize/2 + i); I would like to ask if there is a way to disclose or guide the configuration of this part.
I've been struggling to connect my nucleo board via ST-Link, I've tried uninstalling everything, reinstalling and my computer still won't detect the board when I plug it in. It's always just COM-3 device or whatever port I use. Tried installing the STSW-LINK009 driver directly from the STM website but still nothing.
Hello, I'm doing BLE usb doungle product.I want to use the WB55RGV6 in low power mode. The system will be able to operate on battery. I have some questions about product development. Questions on below. 1) Can the product operate at 1.8V in low power mode? 2) I use lipo battery. My battery voltage range will be 3.5V-4.2V. VDDA can be minimum 1.62V. In this case, I need to scale the voltage between 1.65-1.8V. I cannot use a direct voltage divider for low power mode because the resistors will draw current. How can I build a circuit structure? 3) In what situations can I use SMPS?
hello everyonei try to make same ping pong dual core example but my project not working can you help me to found the problem"there is not fault in build and i can run the project but it not working"i did not understan where is the problem
I am working on a battery operated design which utilizes the WB as the main logic CPU with a WL to connect to LoRa networks. This device is very small, putting the antennas uncomfortably close together. To avoid certification issues wed like to ensure we do not transmit on both devices at the same time. Have there been any issues with certification reported when using both chips simultaneously? We think, due to LoRa stack timing requirements, the easiest solution will be to pause BLE while transmitting on LoRa but there does not seem to be any convenient hook for pausing BLE communications in the SDK without completely shutting down and restarting.Any general advice would be appreciated.
Hi all, We would like to perform write/erase actions in internal flash during active BLE connection for a slave/peripheral device. We intend to use BLE_RfWithFlash example. We are trying to establish sufficient conditions for a slave to perform write/erase operations.Looking "4.7 Flash memory management" of AN5289, we see the constraints:BLE connected: the connection interval must be longer than 25 ms + packet length, tobe able to execute flash memory erase operation.Data throughput use case: When data streaming packet is sent, the radio is kept activeto send as much data as possible between two connection intervals. Therefore, theradio can not be in idle long enough to fit an erase operation. When the device ismaster, it can reduce the Connection Event Length parameter (with either theaci_gap_create_connection() or aci_gap_start_connection_update() command) toprevent the device filling completely the interval between two connection intervals. When the devi
Hello community,I am running a modified version of the p2p_routeur_app example and everything is running smoothly except for some rare reconnection issues. The peripheral is a remote control that sends a lever signal to the central and often the peripheral looses connection because the remote is being used in maritime environment (occasional signal loss is totally fine), the problem is that only 5 times a connection can be lost and reconnected because at every reconnection, a new connection is established instead of the old one being reused.Only 6 simultaneous connections can be handled because of BLE_CFG_CLT_MAX_NBR_CB = 6 . So every time the connection is lost for more than 5 times i have to restart the central, otherwise the peripheral will not reconnect. I solved the issue by simply reusing and overriding the old connections via aP2PClientContext[index] by using index 0 for new connections. This fixed the limitation of only 5 possible reconnections. Now occasionally and random
First bonding (STM32WB55). As peripheral. On bonding event, I read the peer address and it is displayed as type PUBLIC (0) but the address is not the public address of the peer, it is also not the static random address as well. So what address is it? and is it a bug that stack shows it as public? ( there could be only one public address according no my understanding) Client Public: 0x00A050D99254Client Static Random: 0x7D01E3C778EE Result after bonding:Peripheral (STM32WB55) Bonding read: 0x00A050504320 , Type : 0 (PUBLIC) The result address has similar start to the public address 0x00A050, BUTTrying to resolve the address ( 0x00A050504320 ) does not resolve it ! ( not private I guess)Trying to check if device is bonded using (0x00A050504320) with type 0 ( Public) return success ??Issue is it is not the public address! and does not resolve to it as well. My guess it is some kind of a random address generated by the peer, t
Hi,I have an STM32WB and I'm working with an example. I'm trying to understand how to add data to the advertisement data, including the name:I thought that all advertisement data is set here, ret = aci_gap_set_discoverable(ADV_IND, Min_Inter, Max_Inter, CFG_BLE_ADDRESS_TYPE, NO_WHITE_LIST_USE, /* use white list */ sizeof(_advData), (uint8_t*) _advData, BleApplicationContext.BleApplicationContext_legacy.advtServUUIDlen, BleApplicationContext.BleApplicationContext_legacy.advtServUUID, 0, 0); and that I don't need to call any other function. Is this correct? Because there are other functions like hci_le_set_advertising_data or aci_gap_update_adv_data. I found that the maximum size for advertisement data is 31 bytes, but from version BLE 5 should be able to set size of adv data more then 31 Bytes, Is it able to extend this data with STM32 Stack? How?Here is how I fill my advData static uint8_t _advData[BLE_ADV_DAT
Hi,I'm looking into using the STM32WB55 device for a custom radio solution. From what I gather this same question was asked and answered here: https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-wireless/is-it-possible-to-flash-a-custom-application-to-cpu2-m0/m-p/288448Since the post is 4 years old I just want to make sure this is still relevant and that its not possible to make custom binaries for the M0 coprocessor due to encryption key managed by ST?BrJohan
Hello everyone,I'm contacting you to solve my problem. I have recently been working on adding the Zigbee protocol to an STM32WB55 microcontroller. After a few tests, I managed to send a temperature measurement using "zcl.temp.meas.h" and its functions. I also created the external converter to receive the data.My application consists of sending a dataframe made up of bytes: {0xAA, 0xBB, 0xCC, ...}. I tried to find a way of sending an array but couldn't find anything. I've also tried using "zcl.message.h" to send my dataframe as a string: "0xAABBCC..." but nothing works.Perhaps one of you has already tried to send a message in the form of an array of bytes or a character string and could advise me on the implementation on the FW but also on the configuration of the external converter. I assume that there are modifications to be made in order to receive a message in the form of an array or a character string.Have a nice day,Aquatwix
Hello ST,We would like to use the Extended advertising capabilities of the STM32WB, but could not find the right example for it in the SDK or in the web. Do you have any examples or information/documentation from your side? We would like to advertise at least 255 bytes and if possible more. Please let us know on how to achieve this task?@Remi QUINTIN@STTwo-32
Here is one problem confused me some days:1. I send some data with LoRaWAN, so it will start RxTimeoutTimer to detect if timeout, and will set radio timeout 0xFFFF as default.2. Normally, the radio will raise IRQ_RX_DONE irq, that mean receive data done from gatway.3. But sometimes, the radio will raise IRQ_RX_TX_TIMEOUT irq, even it's not timeout. That is my question: what will cause radio raise IRQ_RX_TX_TIMEOUT irq ? Thanks.
Hi. We are developing a project on STM32WB5MM-DK,BLE-Mesh v1.13.008;BLE-Mesh Library v01.13.009.I'm trying to make a BLOB server model based on an existing stack. I added callback functions and Opcodes_Table . Commands are sent and received (including those segmented up to MAX_APPLICATION_PACKET_SIZE(160)). The problem occurs when the library receives packets longer than 8 bytes (not necessarily segmented). If such packets come in a row quickly enough, the stack stops responding to all such commands are registered in the table - the corresponding callback function stops calling. At the same time, commands with a small length continue to work. In the receive callback function, no actions are currently performed except debugging. Only restarting the module helps. Are there any thoughts why this could happen? take place?
We are noticing a difference in the firmware when it is running on the P-NUCLEO-WB55 boardsOn P-NUCLEO-WB55 - MB1355C-02 based evaluation board.- The BLE works correctly. We are able to connect to the device send multiple BLE commands to request the dataOn P-NUCLEO-WB55 - MB1355D-01 based evaluation board- The BLE initially works properly for one BLE command. Then when requesting 2nd BLE command the connection between the board and mobile app sending the BLE command terminates. Any idea what could be the issue?
My STM32 WBA55CG was working absolutely fine yesterday and today it seems that, my system refuses to find it. I have checked that i can see it from my device manager but when trying to flash it. It doesn't seem to do anything. When i remove the JP2 jumper, it seems to turn on LD4. I have not removed the jumpers at all. They are as they came to me in the box. I am able to see it on the STLink Upgrade utility which is in the cube ide. Could it be because the ST-link chip is working fine but something is wrong with the microprocessor?
I tried demo project from repo/STM32Cube_FW_WL_V1.3.0/Projects/B-WL5M-SUBG1/Applications/Lorawan/LoRaWAN_End_Node. i change the Region to my region on Lorawan minddleware setting on CubeMX.After "debug as" STM32 C/C++ application and got warning "Projects using Sigfox, LoRaWAN or SubGHz_Phy may require a customized linker file." what does it means ?What does it means? and after debug as , got many error.I follow this video tutor from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yL-7YqUFl0k seems works for Nucleo-WL55.Anyone can help ?
Hi @STTwo-32 @KDJEM.1 I want to add custom services along with the BLE_TMAP_Audio_Unicast_Client of STM32WBA55G-DK board. The .ioc file is already configured and I am not able to add more services. Can someone provide with CubeMX initialization for WBA. The user manual UM1718 has STM32WPAN section for STM32WB series only. UM3131 is also not helping with the need. Thanks in advance!
There doesn't seem to be any project in the whole STM32CubeWB package that uses the HSE with PLL. At least I couldn't find any with a .IOC file. Most samples in the package use the MSI clock, except, of course, for the wireless projects that use HSE for better accuracy. But in all those projects that use the HSE, they use the clock directly, not through the PLL, and then they clock the main CPU at 32 MHz, not at 64 MHz. Of course it is possible to modify the configuration to use the HSE with the PLL. But it is rather strange that with all the projects in the package, everyone that do use the HSE, doesn't use the PLL and chooses to configure the CPU at a lower frequency. To be honest, it makes one suspicious that it could be a problem and it might not work reliably if one try to use the HSE with the PLL. Anybody has any actual experience with a wireless project using the HSE and clocking the CPU at 64 MHz through the PLL? Thanks
