Hello,I need to if it´s possible to perform an OOK modulation with the STM32WL55JC (433 MHz or 868 MHz). If so, how can I do it, and does somebody has an example for this? Thanks!
Hi team,I am using LoRa-E5 dev board that uses STM32WLE5JC MCU.I have been trying to implement ADC peripheral. How do I configure the +Vref of the ADC? Is there any configuration parameter or API?Thanks.
Hi, I would like to use OpenBootloader on my STM32WB35 but I do not find any exemple about it. There is a repository on the official STM github but it is empty : Maybe somebody from STM can correct this :) I already checked the STM32Wb package and there is nothing about openBootloader inside. Thank you.
I know there is no simple answer to the above question. It depends on how many packets my network is sending. Maybe there is a formula predicting the number of nodes in the network where I know what data is sent and how often. I want to know if my network can work with 10, 100 or 1000 nodes. Any suggestions on how to calculate this?
Hello everyone,I'm migrating a code base from the STM32L475 to the STM32WB55. The WB55 was selected due to availability and it's not expected to use the connectivity features (BLE, ZigBee, etc.) it has.Looking at the OTA firmware upgrade examples for BLE/ZigBee it's not clear to me if I can use that in a project when not using the connectivity stacks.I am still looking at AN5185 to implement something without using a wireless stack but using the firmware upgrade services. The previous hardware (L475) had dual banks so the upgrade was implemented using one bank at a time. In the WB55 there is only one bank available, one idea is to partition this bank and allocate an amount of space to store the new image. As a side note, the image is received using an LTE connection.Do you have any suggestions (examples, projects, input) on implementing the firmware upgrades on the WB55?Regards,Carlos
Hi,I'm working on transmitting audio over BLE. I have successfully connected SPH0645 mic using I2S and also I have connected speakers for the output. The thing is I don't know how to transmit audio over BLE. I tried creating custom template to notify the audio value buffer. Can anyone help me with this. Thanks in advance.
Hello, In the product specification STM32WLE5xx/STM32WLE4xx, december, 2022 DS13105 Rev 12, we can find on page 137 a recommended footprint in Figure 32 for the UFQFPN48 casing. But, we can also download the footprint of this casing in the CAD Ressources, for example link: STM32WLE5CC - Sub-GHz Wireless Microcontrollers. Arm Cortex-M4 @48 MHz with 256 Kbytes of Flash memory, 64 Kbytes of SRAM. LoRa, (G)FSK, (G)MSK, BPSK modulations. AES 256-bit. Multiprotocol System-on-Chip. - STMicroelectronicsThe both footprints are not identical (pad dimensions etc...).Why do we have 2 footprints for the UFQFPN48 casing ? Could you tell me the best footprint to use? Thanks in advance, regards, Daniel.
Hello, I can't get a current lower than 108µA in stop1 mode. It's expected 3µA in the datasheet.I set all pin in analog input mode, disable the debug in low power mode.I try with the NUCLEO Board as explain in the article number n°2190.I also removed all JP2 jumpers to decrease the current consumption of the shift level.Has anyone always succed to get 3µA in stop1 mode with this MCU.Thanks,
Hello,I want to change the mode of iBeacon (M0+) to server or client through button switch while Cortex-M4 is runningHardware initialization or rtc initialization should not be performed when the corresponding function is operating. Thanks
HelloI request more antenna specification for STM32WB5MMG.As datasheet, already provided, there is an antenna radiation patterns and efficiency but no more information about peak gain etc.If there is an antenna performance report, that shuld be the best.sincerely
Hi!I need to have the ability to program an external SPI flash (W25Q32) via External Loader.I've implemented the loader as described here and it worked successfully for smaller binary file, yet I've got some issues uploading a bigger binary.Once I decided to upgrade CubeProgrammer to the newer version (from v2.4.0 I used) External Loader stopped working and don't even start. The behaviour I see now is same as the one described here. The MCU is STM32WL55. Please specify what might be wrong, because CubeProgrammer is some kind of "black box" here.BTW, debugging with CubeIDE works and Init method works as well.
I am using a SAI device on a SMT32WB55. Using it as a wavetable synth that produces a triangle wave. I am able to play my triangle wave for x amount of time with HAL_SAI_Transmit_DMA(&hsai_BlockA1, (uint8_t*)data, size); And later stop it with a timer using : HAL_StatusTypeDef status = HAL_SAI_DMAStop(&hsai_BlockA1);Whichever frequency I use for my triangle wave, the sound is fine. However, if I play another note after the first one, I can ear so pop/clicks/tearing that gets worst after each note. If I play diferent notes, I can still hear a trail of the previous note before the right frequency kicks in. Everything is reset in the triangle wave generator after each note and the array assigned to the dma circular buffer in the transmit function is memset to 0 just in case. After inspecting the HAL code for the HAL_SAI_DMAStop function, I can see that the dma requests are stopped and the fifo is cleared. So there should be no residual data when DMAStop is called. Is there something

I am using the STM32WB55CCU6 low energy Bluetooth microcontroller. As I am not using the USART interface and don't need to support a Real Time Calendar clock, I didn't attach an external low frequency crystal resonator. However, I am wondering whether this was a mistake as the BLE Bluetooth interface requires a low frequency clock [ RTC ] and it doesn't seem possible to use the internal low frequency clock [ LSI ] - disabling RTC also disables the RF section in the .ioc file.Is there some form of work-around that allows for the use of the internal low frequency oscillator ?@JBlac.1
Hello,I want to know difference between SYSCLK and SystemCoreClok. When ı try to configure clock of different peripherals I saw terms SYSCLK and SystemCoreClock. I use MSI for SYSCLK which is configured to 32MHZ and for cpu1 ı divided sysclk by 4 and get 8 MHz . So my HCLK freq is 8 MHZ.On the code I saw something like LL_SetSystemCoreClock(8000000);and for SYSCLK ı saw something likeLL_RCC_SetSysClkSource(LL_RCC_SYS_CLKSOURCE_MSI);What ı want to understand is that if I set core clock 8MHz is it mean that the SYSCLK is also 8 MHZ or not.
I'm generating code with STM32CubeIde 1.11.0 for a STM32WB55, in my test project there is an USB CDC and BLE is enabled. When I enable BLE also IPCC must be enabled, but after HW_IPCC_Init is called usb clock is wrong so my usb device doesn't work anymore. The specific function which corrupt the clock is HAL_NVIC_EnableIRQ(IPCC_C1_RX_IRQn)I have error on my linux: usb 1-2: Device not responding to setup address. Is there a solution?
The enable boxed are there, but only for EXTI line 2, it's greyed out.
Hello, I have a stm32wb55 nucleo board,I want to know that whats is the logic behind that , In reference manual it says After a system reset, the MSI oscillator, at 4 MHz, is selected .Lets say I want to use HSI or HSE for specific application and I want to set SYSCLK, HCLKs and other clocks .How can I implement a code that configure HSI,HSE selection and SYSCLK etc. I want to do that using LL(low layer libraries). Thanks for your helps
Hello,I am using BLE_OTA project for STM32WB55. I upload a bin file which is 350 kb using ST BLE Sensor. However, the upload speed is so lower for some phones. For example, it takes up to 450 seconds on some android phones while the others take 25 seconds. Is there any way to speed up?Thank you.Have a nice day.Serhat.
Hello everyone, I'm using BLE_Ota application for STM32WB55 (https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeWB/tree/master/Projects/P-NUCLEO-WB55.Nucleo/Applications/BLE/BLE_Ota) I can able to run the code successfully. In the OTA code, it erases the flash by Delete_Sectors function in App_BLE_Init. So, it means that the flash is erased when switching the OTA mode. However, I want to erase the flash only when the upload process is started and if the user doesn't start to upload new firmware in 2 mins, exit the OTA mode and switch back to the application.Could you please help me how to do?Best regards.Serhat.
i have fuse 1.1.2 version and full_ble stack in the m0. The option bytes are 0x1FFF8078=0x9E2BD000 and IPCCDBA = 0.when i start the m0 ( bit 15 of PWR_CR4) I have that in the SRAM2B 20030000 : 24 00 03 20 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 0020030010 : 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 0020030020 : 00 00 00 00 B9 56 46 A9 01 00 00 00 00 00 01 0120030030 : 00 00 02 01 06 00 00 00 03 00 0F 01 26 00 00 0020030040 : 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 95 69 1B 0020030050 : 26 E1 80 00 96 04 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00this is correct. But when i try to send any request (example FUS_GET_STATE 2 times to start wireless stack) with ipcc the m0 didnt answer. I tried to enable ipcc for each cpu and enable it rx and tx for each but it doesnt work. the bit 1 ( for channel 2 ) in IPCC_C1TOC2SR is stuck to 1 ( the cpu2 did not put that bit to 0)
Hi team, I have purchased a development kit (LoRa-E5) from Seeed website. I would like to know the method to flash the code into the controller without using STM programmer (ST-link). Is it possible to do this way? Thanks.
