Hi programmers !I'm trying to work whit AVD-TT78QT-NN-005-S mipi display (1280x400 pixel) and STM32 U5A9J-DK board. This display needs a black portion of screen to visualize the image correct: (from datasheet)Obviously the screen in Touchgfx designer project must have the dimensions of 1280x400, but I have to throw out a 1280x540 screen, with the 140 empty lines as in the image.Does anyone have an idea where to intervene to ensure that each line exiting the MIPI lanes always has 140 black pixels inserted in the position? My idea is to modify the code that builds the lines to be sent via MIPI taking the data from the framebuffer, but I can't figure out how/where to do it.Can anyone suggest me something?Thank you very much.
I don't know fi this is the correct place for this question... It's realy more about objcopy than touch_gfx. But on the other hand if somebody else have the problem it suites fine here...I have my assets (ExtFlashSection, FontFlashSection and TextFlashSection) in an external QSPI flash. Now I have a demand for OTA, and since th bin file coveres a large area of "nothing" between the internal and external flash the logical thing is to split it in two half using objcopy. This works fine if I remove ExtFlashSection and relocalte FontFlashSection and TextFlashSection to the internal memory of my stm32f7 mcu.But I would like to put all my sections that are loaded to "qspi_flash_memory" to a separate bin file. (I have some other big segments going to my qspiflash aswell)I have not been able to figure out how (if even possible) to get multipple sections (perhaps even a "MEMORY" defined in my linker file) in the correct order with objcopy.I guess it would be possible to remove all "unwanted
i am having problem when i try to use demo or create a project, these errors keep repeating even when i restart the app i have uninstalled 4.21.3 and installed the latest version but it keeps crashing.Did I skip any steps during code generation or initial setup?4.21.4 4.21.3.
Hello, I use STM32F746 and 800x480 TFT display and I use Calibri fonts but some calibri fonts cannot be shown correctly. I tried all texts with BPP8, BPP4, BPP1, but nothing is changed. How can I solve this?
Hi,In TouchGFXHAL.cpp, HAL_DSI_EndOfRefreshCallback() contains HAL_Delay(). Meantime it is called from HAL_DSI_IRQHandler(). Can it be avoided? The code is generated with TouchGFX Designer 4.22.0 for STM32H747I-DISCO.The generated file is attached.
So I have created a project on TouchGFX and opened it in CubeIDE but the name of the project was stm32h745i_disco even though I wanted it to be different. So I changed the name of the project in CubeIDE and now I cannot run nor debug my code. I get the error in final launch sequence. Couldn't find a solution to my problem in other posts.I have uploaded the log file from the debugger for reference, which I myself honestly don't understand what it says. I have 3 questions arising from this problem:How to solve the error in final launch sequence? Because this is not the first time I am getting this error. How to properly rename a project name in CubeIDE without causing such issues? I right click the project name and I clicked rename, but that seems to be non-ideal.The .ioc file cannot be opened anymore as it is still stuck on the original name, how to fix that? Please help!!
I have created a project on Touchgfx Designer and renamed my project according to:https://community.st.com/s/idea/0873W000000PAykQAG/detailso it does not conflict with other project with the same name in my workspace.I did it successfully and even was able to compile it. I then modified the project via the .ioc file in CubeIDE and was still able to build the project. But Running or debugging the project does NOT work!! I get this famous Error in final launch sequence. This is not the 1st time I got this and an ST employee (@Christophe VRIGNAUD) previously suggested me to revert back to the original project name. That is unfortunately a poor solution and not an option for me as all touchgfx projects bear the same name. Can anyone help with fixing that ERROR IN FINAL LAUNCH SEQUENCE??Attached is the log as well.I tried deleting the current debug configuration and made a new one but the problem is still there.
I built a project from within TouchGFX and clicked the Run on Target button. Unfortunately, I forgot to plug STLink into my target board so programming failed. I connected STLink and clicked the Run on Target button again and it went and compiled ALL source code again before downloading it to my board - why does it do this ???Andy
Hi friends, I have this problem:static uint16_t txt[10];Unicode::snprintfFloat(txt,6U,"%0.2f",functionGetFloat());Unicode::snprintf( TextIndicatorBuffer,TEXTINDICATOR_SIZE,"%s %s",TypedText(T_STATEPRODUCTMANAGERWC5).getText(),txt);TextIndicator.setWildcard(TextIndicatorBuffer);TextIndicator.invalidate(); this work only once, after calling this function the second once, nothing change... some hint? thanks..
For a test I try to read current LCD brightness - 0x5E register using STM32F769-DISCO board with MB1166 OTM8009A LCD.DSI has been properly configured for the command mode - writing works OK. I know because display gets properly initialized.I looked everywhere and I found no example of how to use HAL_DSI_Read().One post I came across suggests that HAL_DSI_ConfigFlowControl(hdsi, DSI_FLOW_CONTROL_BTA) needs to be called first. It seems to help, there are no timeout errors but nothing gets read. Please advice. This seems to be reoccurring question with no answer or even a sign someone succeeded. Below is what I have tried.void test() { uint8_t buffer[2]; memset(buffer, 0, 2); MyDsiRead1Param(&hdsi_discovery, 0x5E, buffer, 2); } void MyDsiReadCmd(DSI_HandleTypeDef *hdsi, uint8_t cmd, uint8_t *buffer, uint32_t size) { HAL_StatusTypeDef status = HAL_DSI_ConfigFlowControl(hdsi, DSI_FLOW_CONTROL_BTA); if (status != HAL_OK) MBED_ERROR(status, "Error calling HAL_DSI_ConfigFlo
I use Nucleo-G431RB, GFX01M2, and after generating the stldr file by myself, when I want to debug my Touchgfx project, the following error occurs: ------------------------------------------------------------------------File download complete Time elapsed during download operation: 00:00:03.216 Verifying... Hello, I have created a project to launch Touch GFX by stm32h723 , which I have put the download link below. Unfortunately, according to the photo I posted, it is displayed incorrectly on the LCD when it is launched, while I have separately tested the interface of the LCD and RAM, which work perfectly, but when I want to launch Touch GFX, I encounter this problem and it does not work.link download project the onedrive picture Error touchgfx
I have a new STM32U5A9J-DK with the circular display and very impressive pre-loaded demo.I wanted to inspect closer how this demo was made, particularly the map screen. From TouchGFX Designer I see "TouchGFX Demo 6" which appears to be an earlier version of the demo that ships with the kit, because the map screen is missing from the project. Are there plans to release the latest full version to TouchGFX Designer?
Hi,I'm in the process of implementing a result screen which displays the result along with unit.Since the digits are not the same I see a spacing issue between result and result unit.Example : 11 cm , 22cmand 99 cmI cannot have a fixed x and y co ordinate for the result unit. This is because when eleven is displayed the result shrinks and looks far away from the result unit.when its 22 the result almost touches the result unit.Is there a way to move the result unit (wild card position) along with the result (wild card) x and y co ordinates. So that the spacing between result and result unit remains the same for all digits?
Hello. I'm trying to pass wildcard buffer to model.hpp and convert Unicode::UnicodeChar to char and I'm using strncpy. But it copies only one character.. Where is problem here? Also if I copy Unicode::UnicodeChar to Unicode::UnicodeChar buffer it works good.
We have two (nearly identical) PCs with TouchGFX Designer installed, and we're trying to add a second language (DE = German). On both PCs, TouchGFX Designer updates texts.xlsx when we click [Generate Code], so it seems as though both PCs are running TouchGFX Designer OK.However, even though TouchGFX Designer correctly creates a LanguageDe.cpp on one PC, it does not create LanguageDe.cpp on the other PC. So it seems as though the two PCs are configured slightly differently. What is TouchGFX Designer doing to create LanguageDe.cpp? Does this process rely on any external tools or particular configuration? What might be causing this to go wrong on one but not the other? Is there a way to enable more verbose logging (temporarily)? Both PCs are running TouchGFX Designer 4.16.0.PS: I looked at the TouchGFXDesigner.log file in AppData\Roaming, but the only log messages there were:2023-07-06 17:49:49,570 [1] DEBUG TouchGFXDomainModel.LoadSave.Excel.ExcelHandler: Parsing done. hiI am practicing jpeg hardware decoding with stm32f769 disco board. During practice, some images were displayed normally, but some images could not be displayed at all. I tested with this :STM32Cube_FW_F7_V1.17.0\Projects\STM32F769I-Discovery\Examples\JPEG\JPEG_DecodingUsingFs_DMA I haven't modified the example. As a result of comparing headers that display images normally and headers that do not, it seems to be related to the number of marker ID SOS (Start of scan: 0xffda). The images displayed normally had only one SOS, but there were several images that could not be displayed at all. How should I handle images that are not displayed due to these headers. Can you please support me with a solution for this?
I am using STM32cubeIDE 1.50 With TouchGFX 4.1.50 for STM32F7508-DK KitBut the is some problem with the integration of these Software and BSP, So I have to manually Add the paths and File in between ToucgGFX and STM32CubeIDE. After adding all the required work I am getting the following errors.c:\st\stm32cubeide_1.5.0\stm32cubeide\plugins\com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.7-2018-q2-update.win32_1.5.0.202011040924\tools\arm-none-eabi\bin\ld.exe: cannot find ../../ExtMem_Boot/Binary/Bootloader.binc:\st\stm32cubeide_1.5.0\stm32cubeide\plugins\com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.7-2018-q2-update.win32_1.5.0.202011040924\tools\arm-none-eabi\bin\ld.exe: cannot find ../../ExtMem_Boot/Binary/Bootloader.bin
Hello, I would like to know if there is a way to select the arrows keys to interact within the DEMO in TouchGFX?I can only see letters and some Symbols, but not the arrow keys. Thanks in advance for your help.
seasoningText.setWideTextAction(touchgfx::WIDE_TEXT_CHARWRAP_DOUBLE_ELLIPSIS); seasoningText.setLinespacing(10); seasoningText.setIndentation(5); seasoningText.resizeHeightToCurrentText(); // When I comment out this line, I can see the newline content seasoningText.invalidate();I use a textArea and switch off the "Auto-size" option, and put it in a scrollableContainer. I want it to wrap automatically and adjust the height. But when I use the function "resizeHeightToCurrentText()", the second line is invisible.(When the text area is about to leave the screen, the second line appears)If I don't use the function "resizeHeightToCurrentText()", the second line will always appear. But I don't know the current height of textArea.:sad_but_relieved_face: So how can I use the use the function "resizeHeightToCurrentText()" normally?
I want to have my single text string consisting of both regular and bold typographies of same size in touchgfx.Take Below Example in consideration of TGX screen designing:I want my Text to look as "Hello All, My name is Sanem. I am working on TouchGFX."Here, Sanem and TouchGFX are my wildcard text, and above string is a text area with 2 wildcard entries. I tried to have 4 different text areas ( 2 Regular with regular fonts and 2 wildcard texts) but when I launch the UI on my LCD the Text overlaps on each other. Is it possible in touchgfx to have a text area with wildcards in bold? Can someone guide me for the same?
Hi,I am looking for best solution to add same image in all screens of my project. For Example, I have 5 screens with different images and my requirements is I need to add one common image (small Icon kind of image) which has to display on each screen meaning on top left corner of each screen.I know one solution like in each screen go and add this image. since I am new to TouchGFX, I am curious to know is there any best way achieve this.Regards, jsalg
I have a project where every time I modify the IOC file it does not generate all the needed HAL dependencies. My workaround at the moment is that I have a second project with the same config in the IOC that I copy the dependences from before compiling. Both projects were started in touchgfx designer. Made with cube MX 6.7.0 The two missing dependencies are stm32h7xx_hal_pcd and stm32h7xx_hal_pcd_ex
Hello again,I have a bunch of measurement results that I would like to display on the screen but space is getting too little. I looked at the scrollable container example, where the long text was put as a text resource (or whatever that is). However, my measurement results aren't, of course, static text so I would need to use wildcard text buffers. How could I implement this?
