Also, what position does the LTDC current position status register (LTDC_CPSR) return? Is it the position of the touch interrupt?
Hello!I try to change display resolution in cubeMX for project based on stm32f429zit6On page Graphics->Parameter settings I try to change width. Maximum allowed change - to 1000. If I set 1001 or more - changings not saves. I try to disable checking. Only after disablin checking width can be set to 1024. But I don't sure, that code will be work. Why it so?
I see the icon top right corner, generate code. But when I press it nothing happens, it becomes like inactive grayed out like it is doing something for a few seconds but nothing happens. Is this because used Windows 7, do I need Win 10 ? Is this supposed to generate some initialization code like Cube MX I could use in KeilI am still using Arduino as my video card for 480x800 display and send data by I2C but I would like eventually get some of the STM32 displays working.
Hello,I want to use STM32F439BG in my product.I am Confusing about the LCD Display.I want to use LCD - Capacitive Touch, 5.7 Inch, RGB (R-8, G-8, B-8, HSYNC, VSYNC, CLK, DE) which will be connected with STM32F439BG.Please suggest the LCD Compatible with the STM32F439BG.Regards,Alpesh.
When I want to execute a certain callback after a certain widget has been pressed, I use the function forEachChild to reach the wanted callback. But during the execution of this callback, I remove the container from the screen to change the visual environment. The function forEachChild however keeps on calling the callback, even after every drawable has been removed from the root container. How do I stop this callback chain?
HiI am using STM32L4R9 Discovery Kit. Here I am using the template code for text display , the controller was hanging , while I am call the lcd refresh function.
For an STM32F769I-EVAL, the option of "Display Serial Interface using LTDC-DSIHOST" for the Display Interface selection for a Graphics Framework selection = TouchGFX remains disabled (grayed out) even after I've gone through all the suggested reasons for it to be disabled. As a general question - is there a way to see what CubeMX is flagging EXACTLY??Specifically, I have TouchGFX selected as my stack, The LTDC is configured for RGB565 (16 Bits) DSI mode, DSIHOST is configured in video mode (RGB565 mode), DSIHOST_TE pin is configured, FMC SDRAM is configured. DMA2 is configured for MEM2MEM, half word...I could use a clue, at this point.
Hello,I would really appreciate if you could provide a small example demonstrating how one can use touch gestures with TouchGFX. For instance, something showing how to display a rectangle upon doing a slide motion of a finger to the left and hiding it when done to the right.Indeed, I find the documentation is lacking a good tutorial on this subject.Thanks.

Hi. Following this document:https://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020208091-Configuring-STM32F769I-DISCOand believe all the required changes have been made including applying comments to exclude the STM32 fonts as per this article. However, IAR compiler is raising font related errors.Any suggestions for a fix? Will review this procedure again to hopefully locate my fault but welcome all feedback. Thanks.
We are currently investigating how to best move from IAR to Atollic, but we're having problems linking the project. More specifically, the linker cannot find the lib file (libtouchgfx.a for gcc), even though it has a seemingly correct path (based on filesystem and/or workspace) and is tracking the object in the workspace. It may be we're just a bunch of Atollic noobs, but are there any established, working ways of importing, configuring, and building a generated project in Atollic? (In terms of generating resources and setting them up, file structure, include paths, etc.)
stm32f429i discovery board is undergoing various tests. There are many Layer-related functions in the BSP functionWhat is the difference between using 1 Layer and using Multi Layer when using LCD?Let me know if you have related videos or links.
Hi,I am having this issue with STM32F469 and 769 Discovery boards. I am trying to create a project in CubeMx with ADC enabled and a STEMWIN Window created using GUIBuilder. When I try to generate this code and run it in SW4STM32, the Discover screen stays blank. This issue has occurred for both 469 and 769 Discovery boards. I am able to run the sample graphics code for these boards, but not code that I generated. Can someone help me figure this out. I am attaching the .ioc file and the .zip of generated code as well. Here is the log for this run:Open On-Chip Debugger 0.10.0-dev-00015-gaaf1808 (2018-11-13-13:07)Licensed under GNU GPL v2For bug reports, read http://openocd.org/doc/doxygen/bugs.htmlsrst_only separate srst_nogate srst_open_drain connect_assert_srstInfo : The selected transport took over low-level target control. I have some success when I ported the my working application based on touchgfx 4.10.0 from STM32F4 to STM32H7. The fonts and texts are stored in FLASH and the images are cached in external SDRAM.The graphics itself is working, I can display shapes, images, make animations, but when I try to display text I have a crash (HardFault) in getFont method (TypedText) more specific, on the line --> return fonts[typedTexts[typedTextId].fontIdx].With the debugger I have stopped on that line before the execution and checked the addresses of the variables and pointers on both targets F4 ahd H7.The variable typedTextId look's ok (678). The NUMBER_OF_TEXT_KEYS in my case is 722, so the text exist. The pointer fonts points on address 0x24007000 (ok, somewhere in ram, according to .map this is TypedTextDatabase). Similar as F4 target. The pointer typedTexts points on address 0x610020 (wierd, this pointer should point on the text in TextFlashSection located somewhere in FLASH). At least on the F4 target
When requiring a virtual function for a slider on value change / start / confirmed (touchgfx 4.10),the code generated is broken. The callback that calls the cvirtual function contains a comparison between a touchgfx::Slider* and a int* if (&src == &value) { virtual_function();}if changed with something with a little more sense, like:if (src.getValue() == value) { vierual_function()}the error is a discarded qualifiers. This error is raised because the Slider getValue method is not declared as const and the callback gets as input a const touchgfx::Slider. So the method should be:int getValue() const { return current_value;}Am I right?
I am attempting to setup the TouchGFX on a 32F746DISCOVERY Board with CubeMX and SW4STM32.When I create the Board project in CubeMX, the stm32f7xx_hal_conf is empty. I would have expected that the Peripherals would have some initialization code setup by Cube, but I am new to Cube so perhaps someone can point out if stm32f7xx_hal_conf needs to be setup by me or if its a bug in Cube.ThanksMartin
Hi,What method would you recommed to set up a low-level timer on my board? HAL libraries ? Configuring directly the registers ? Something else? EDIT : I'm asking cause I'd like to measure the time it takes to perform a certain action (say color the background with a given image) and setting a low-level timer is the only way I see to do that.
Hello,I am doing a project on TouchGFX on STM32F746G -DISCO board using Keil.I want to display/not display a widget, either a button/text based on the state of button received from Backend. When I control only a single widget, the system works as needed, that is widget is displayed when button is pressed, and not when button is released. But when I add two widgets having similar functionality, changing as per the input received from 2 different buttons, the display does either hang up, or it displays the widget correctly as per the button state for the first time and later the widget is unresponsive to the change in button state. What could be the issue? Thanks,Ameya
Hello,I find it very inconvenient to have to change the png picture to resize my widgets (buttons, sliders, …). Is there a way to resize them from the same png picture (if there is one, couldn't find it…) ? If not, is it a function that will be introduced in the future ?Thanks.

Hello, as the Question says, I'm trying to run STemWin into STM32F4 Discovery board. It compiles well, but does not show anything. I think the LCD initializes, but after that, It does not work anymore. I'm using ATollic Truestudio and an Arduino LCD with an ILI9341 by SPI. The library I've used is: https://github.com/martnak/STM32-ILI9341It works perfectly fine with this set up. Since CubeMx does not support STemWin with this board, I build the project by myself. I think the problem is the LCDConf file. I do not use RTOS and I don't get any error, the code get just stucked when I use "GUI_DispStringHCenterAt". Can somebody help me?
Hello - I'm just getting started and would like to evaluate TouchGFX. I'm interested in developing for a 7 or 10" display and am trying to select an appropriate development kit. I've found these as options:https://www.waveshare.com/product/mcu-tools/stm32/open/open746i-c-package-b.htmWaveshare Open746-C with STM32F746IGT6 - This seems to have two display interfaces to handle both lower and higher resolution screens. Details are sketchy and I can't find what display interface is used for higher resolution screens. I don't think it supports MIPI DSI.http://www.edtc.com/solution/ETEM070006XDH6%20Ver.2-ROHS.pdfEDT ETEM070006XDH6 - A 7" display development kit available from EDT. Only available through the company who likely price it to find those that have an active project and are further along than I am.https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/32f769idiscovery.html32F769IDISCOVERY - ST development kit that can come with a 4" capacitive touch display. As far as
I downloaded CubeMX 7 I thought it was program like Cube Mx 5, instead it had bunch of example files. When I try to generate code in Touch GFX, the right upper corner nothing happens. So what do you use to get the working TFT and bunch of other things like ADC, I2C etc so I can work in Keil ?
Hi AllI don't have all widgets in the TouchGFX Designer 4.10.0. For example Text area with wildcard is missing. Where do I found them?Thank you
