Dear, On https://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/205443982 the variables textCounterBuffer and TEXTCOUNTER_SIZE are used in snprintf. If I'm not mistaken, those variables are not available in TouchGFX 4.10.0. Is that correct? Thanks,Bart
I am attempting to encode some images as a video file on the STM32F769NIHx chip. A fairly short, but lossless video file with a very low framerate. I have not found any good resources on how to do so. The framerate will be about 5fps so I don't think that I will need very much compression. It just needs to be accepted by popular/widely available videoplayers as a valid video format. I have already attempted using FFmpeg, but the documentation online does not provide a way to transfer FFmpeg source code to a bare-metal application. I should say that I am doing all of this in embedded C. The closest solution that I have found is in the following link: https://www.jonolick.com/home/mpeg-video-writer. However, this format is still too lossy and fast (24fps at the slowest).

Dear Sir,I am working with customer using TouchGFX.Because I am BSP porting engineer, I don't know TouchGFX application in detail. My customer is tring to implement custom Slider widget with number indicator of slider image. But, there is flicker problem whenever slider is moved. Please could you check that where is this problem ?Best Regards,JunBeom Kim / EmbedCoreTech.
Hello,I'm trying to generate some sample data in the model. My problem is, it is a little bit tricky for a beginner - so I want to ask if there is any guide in text written, would be awesome, because videos are very quick.=======At the moment I have added a "Circle Process" in TouchGFX and a button which calls a virtual function. Now what are the exact steps to iterate the value of the circle process (by tick - not by pressing the button :) )?Some sample code would also be great, like:1) Edit ScreenView.hpppublic: ... virtual void setvalue(); ...2) Edit ScreenView.cpp... void MainView::setvalue() { presenter->updatevalue(circleProgress1.getValue()); } ...3) Edit ScreenPresenter.hpp... public: void updatevalue(int value); ...4) Edit ScreenPresenter.cpp5) Edit Model.hpp6) Edit Model.cpp7) Edit ModelListener.hpp I have seen the PoolDemo, and I'm trying to use this code, but it would be much easier seeing the code for each file in one text, for me.thank you for your help! :)best regards,
Hi, I'm Hill-Rom employee and working on UI software. On the device LCD screen if leaving a screen idle for a while, sometime will observe some random lines showing on screen. Not every time idling on the same screen can reproduce the issue but when the problem comes it's always the same lines appearing on the screen. Can you help me find out the problem?
I have insert a images in .png format in one screen. When the simulator run, i'm able to see all the screen but it freeze when it try to load the one with the image. The project is configured in 1bpp and I have edited the image to convert it in black/white without grayscale.
Hi. The integration between TouchGFX and CubeMX 5.0 is quite complex. Recent attempt of a combo project is able to compile without errors on IAR but the GUI generated with TouchGFX results in a blank TFT display on this kit. Guessing something to do with the LCD display and will attempt to debug.CubeMX is complaining about the Platform Settings so is the issue with the SPI_PIN?Further to the 3 templates posted on this topic:https://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360019884752-Configuring-STM32F746G-DISCOhttps://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020001992-Configuring-STM32F7508-DISCOhttps://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020208091-Configuring-STM32F769I-DISCOcan someone post a similar solution for the STM32F429 DISC1 target? There are many variables that can derail a working solution. Thanks!
How to know about the end of the transfer frame? How do I know how many bytes were received? Why are the HAL_DCMI_LineEventCallback and HAL_DCMI_VsyncEventCallback events triggered after HAL_DMA_Abort was called? They also continue to be called after a single call to DCMI_MODE_SNAPSHOTAfter a single call HAL_DCMI_Start_DMA and events HAL_DCMI_LineEventCallback and HAL_DCMI_VsyncEventCallback never stop, is this normal?
I am developing a project with LTDC and StemWin Multi-layer. When I add second layer in LTDC, an option of layer number in GRAPHICS section becomes alerting some strange stuff (if layer_num == 1 - no alert at all). Nevertheless if i generate project - everything seems to work fine. What's the matter?Pic. related:
I started the project in CubeMX 5.1.0 from STM32F746DISCO board and it compiles ok, but when I add TouchGFX graphics TrueStudio always returns error when build. The errors are similar like "undefined reference to `MX_FREERTOS_Init()" or "undefined reference to `typeinfo for touchgfx::DMA_Interface". But for example the function "MX_FREERTOS_Init()" is properly declared.I've starded in CubeMX from board, from MCU, tried in differents ways but in the end always the same result.Anyone was able to build ok from CubeMX and TouchGFX in TrueStudio?
HelloI'm using TouchGFX 4.10 with a custom board (STM32F767) and I have a problem, where old value/content will be displayed when updating another value on screen.Procedure in which the problem occurs:I have two textareas on screen (e.g. TextA and TextB)The initial values are: TextA: "ABC" / TextB: "DEF"In General: The values will be updated through Model->Presenter->View / Touch is not used(Step1) Updating TextA to "123" and invalidating TextAText on Screen -> TextA: "123" / TextB: "DEF"(Step 2) Updating TextB to "456" and invalidating TextBText on Screen -> TextA: "ABC" / TextB: "456"TextA is wrong!(Step3) Updating TextB to "789" and invalidating TextBText on Screen -> TextA "123" / TextB: "789"TextA and TextB are correct When I repeat Step 2 then I have the wrong values againI don't know where the problem is, but I assume it has something to do with the doublebuffering. When I invalidate both values in every steps, it works correctly. But this can/shoul
Is it possible to animate standard objects (e.g. box, circle, shapes, containers, etc.) with EasingEquations? For example take a circle with a small radius and a thin line and zoom it to a bigger radius and thick line smoothly in 1 second?
I am attaching pin diagram of a TFT, which I want interface with STM32F207. I am confusing in its pins to connect with Nucleo Board.
HiI am trying to enable TouchGFX configuration for CubeMX project. The development board I am using is STM32F4 board. I am stuck at the "Execute" option, as it is disabled for TouchGFX configurations. Can anybody please tell me how to enable it?Attaching the screenshot herewith:
Hello everybody, because it seems to be a very difficult setting for a beginner, is there a simple example or an empty template for starting with this tool mix? Thanks in advance
I am using STMPE811QTR in my project for touch screen detection, schematic is similar to STM32F429 discovery board (display size 800 x 480)STMPE811QTR is interfaced with STM32F429 on I2C bus, During the normal operation (if we touch the screen------interrupt generated--------master reads the co-ordinate on I2C------get proper value-----working OK)but, sometimes touch screen controller randomly generates the fake interrupt on INT (pin no. 2) i.e. interrupt generated without even touching the touch screendue to which master controller reads the DATA on I2C line & get fake co-ordinates due to fake interrupt (as once master gets the co-ordinates, it displays the same on TFT)due to such a erratic behavior of touch screen controller, user unable to use the device properlykindly guide on the same
Hi professors,I `m trying to use TouchGFX to generate a source code for my own develop board, and build GPIO to match with board.I use Keil C to compiler then debug ,and it stuck in MVPApplication function, after I run hole function then it goes in to hardfault.I have no ideal that happening.By the way the, GPIO Init was finished and LCD was turned on,then I can transfer data to display.Down below is main functionhope you can help me !Thank you!
I was wondering if it's possible to use dual-flash memory mode with TouchGFX, and if so is there any documentation available ?
Hello,When generating a project for STM32F746 Disco board a QSPI.mac is generated. This file contains instruction to load into RAM __hwReset(0); __message "---- setup device ----" ; Reg = __readMemory32(0x40023838, "Memory"); // RCC.AHB3ENR enable QSPI Reg |= (0x02UL); __writeMemory32(Reg, 0x40023838, "Memory");....How is it generated ?How can we modify it as we uses different QUAD SPI on our target ?thanks for any supportbest regards
hi ,i'm working on stm32f769i discovery , i did an application through the touchgfx i started with one screen and one slider and everything worked fine , but after that i tried to add some pages and images and i got that error msg from the compiler unable to allocate space for sections/blocks with a total estimated minimum size of 0x21887a bytes (max align 0x4) in <[0x00200000-0x003fffff]> (total uncommitted space 0x1ffe08). I tried to reduce the size of the picture but I do not think that's the problem, I've seen more complex applications that were run on this controller,I would be happy to advise how I can resolve this
I am using CubeMX (MCU = STM32F469ZI) to integrate TouchGFX with Atollic and when I create a project, there seems to be no auto-generated TouchGFX project. I did just a very basic CubeMX project just setting up the peripherals that TouchGFX needs. Then importing the settings using the TouchGFX application screen in CubeMX. Not sure what I am missing, ask me if you need any more info. Thank you.
