Hi all,I`m trying to build a project with STM32CubeMX , Using FATFS for SDcard and Decoding JPEG with LibJPEG.And I just want to test if it can decompress successful or no,but it stacks in{ jpeg_start_decompress } function.I have no ideal about why it can go through it .This is Libjpeg function down below,I write the printf to see is it go throughIt went to the HardFault at breakpoint placeHope anyone can help! Thanks a lot!!
We are facing issues in compiling STemWin has windows.h headers are not found, below is the log for same. I found the void HALSDL2::saveScreenshot(); function, but it is located in the path of the simulator. Can the target board use this function?
Hello,I've built a semi-functional demo project for a client of ours using touchGFX 4.10.0 through STM32CubeIDE for a STM32F746BGT6 processor. One of the remaining issues I need to resolve has to do with the startup of touchGFX. When I flash the code and run a debug session, I am able to see the screen I expect, and touchGFX responds to button presses etc. However, if I exit the debug session and power cycle my device, the screen does not display properly. As a test I painted the screen green after setting up the hardware, and before calling the touchGFX taskEntry. When I did this the screen remained green after a POR. This indicates that the hardware initialization is correct and is being completed, but touchGFX does not write to the frame buffer after starting. In order to force a redraw I added a slide screen action after a button press event. When pressing the button (which works in debug) there is no change on the display. This is difficult to debug since the project runs when I hav
Hi ST-Community,I already set the speed of the scrollable container to maximum via calling of the function setMaxVelocity(0xffff).But I'm still not satisfied with the actual scroll speed.is there any other possibility to increase the scroll speed?BRDaniel
I uploaded the project in this image to stmf746g-disco This project has no interfacekeil file of the project is herethen I made a simple interface using touchgfxThe problem is how do I integrate the interface code with my real project?I've seen something like this done by doing some research and watching videos and I've triedhere I created a variable called "buttonclicked"here already touch gfx has created their ownI'm getting an error hereand most importantly, I do not know how to do this after correcting the erroreven if this error is resolved, I don't know how to integrate the next stepsneed your help thank you.in short, how do I integrate my project that I use to draw a wave in my keil project into touch gfxWhen I press the RUN button, I want it to bring up the screen in the first image
I am using STM32H732i-EVAL2. I was able to create a small GUI project using Touch GFX Designer. Now I need to add/create several FreeRTOS tasks (queues, semaphores, etc.). Where in the TouchGFX project do they go? Where do I call xTaskCreate and vTaskStartScheduler() from? How do I make sure that TouchGFX continues to run after the scheduler starts with FreeRTOS tasks and ISRs? How and where do I link FreeRTOS sources/dependancies to my TouchGFX project? Is there a tutorial showing how to add FreeRTOS tasks, dependancies, etc. to a TouchGFX project? Is there an example TouchGFX project/solution that already contains FreeRTOS tasks, dependancies, etc.?
We are trying to draw a full screen (480x272) but using a tiling method of size 16x16 pixels. We are using a struct UI_Image for each tile, like this one below: struct UI_Image{ touchgfx::Image image; uint8_t image_id; uint8_t is_created; };struct UI_Image ui_image[30];For our entire screen that’s mean, we need an array of 30 x 17 = 510 structures! But, we got many error when compiling which goes away when we use a small number like [30]… here is a screen shot of the errorsPerhaps there is a better way to achieve this tiling technique? Also, could we draw using a RAM address instead of FLASH address, which could allow procedural changes in time?
Hello,i use a custom DSI display on the STM32F769 Discovery Board. The display has 720x720 pixels and no framebuffer. Therefore I can't use the DSI adapted command mode but I have to use the DSI video mode.I have the following problem:When the pixel clock is too low (below 30 MHz) the display is flickering (as the frame rate is too low). When the pixel clock is above 30 MHz there is no flickering any more but then I get fifo underrun erros when a button is pressed on the display. So the display look completely correct but as soon as I press a button (causing some drawing), I see glitches until the drawing is completed, after which the display look correct again. This link (https://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/205676691-Debugging-Pixel-Error-Issues) says that the problem occurs because TouchGFX is rendering to one frame buffer in SDRAM while the LCD controller is reading from the other frame buffer. Depending on bus arbitration, this may cause the LCD controller to
Hello i'm porting TouchGFX to a custom board using STM32F429 and a custom 800x480 16bit display.I'm having trouble when I try to add a .png image on the TouchGFX designer. For some reason, if the .png file have any gradient effect, the resulting image will not display correctly on the physical display. Here are some examples:This is the example application i'm trying to show on the display. This is how the colors are displayed on the physical display:Notice how the gradients effects are displayed on the display. My TouchGFX project is using the follow dithering configurations:# Optional additional compiler flags user_cflags := -DUSE_BPP=16 # Settings for image converter output format alpha_dither := yes # Dither algorithms: 0 (no dither), 1 (Floyd-Steinberg), 2 (Jarvis, Judice and Ninke), 3 (Stucki) dither_algorithm := 2 opaque_image_format := RGB565 non_opaque_image_format := ARGB8888Any suggestion on how to move forward? Thank you in adva
I am using STM32F469 for my project. Also, I want to interface 1.54" TFT LCD with it.I used CubeMX for pin configuration and initialisation. By default, it is initialising the graphics for 4" Touch LCD (800*480) with RGB interface. I changed the same to 240*240 physical display size and then designed a simple GUI for test purpose using GUI Builder by STemWin.Is this a right approach or I need t change it? Please help me out so I can start my further development. I am attaching the CubeMX Report File for the same.Thank You.
Hih7 series don't have graphic part in cubemx. When will cubemx support touchgfx for h7 series???In which future version??
In my project, I’ll plug a camera on the stm32f769I board, and show the image from the camera on the screen. Is there possibility that show the image with using TouchGFx
HelloI'm working with the stm32h750 eval board and touchgfx, my GUI is ready, but now i need to conect to some hardware (relay, sensors etc). i usually work with keil, but touchgfx not generating keil project and i lost hope it will before my dead-end; so i moved to IAR, which is generated, but not working, seems to me all options for the generated project are wrong, after many attempt (some random, some *** grano salis) i was able to compile a project, but still not able to load it into board (IAR starts to load project, and keeps going forever, no error, nothing, and i waited 40 min to see if it will eventually unstuck and load the code)any advice/guide/working example to load touchGFX project from IAR?Thanks
Hello.I have a question about the TouchGFX - scalable image.I succeeded to see the screen of TouchGFX.Here is my hardware:STM32F429IGT6.800 * 480 TFT LCD16Mbit SDRAMI could see some of simple touchgfx gui.But If I add "scalable image", It is stuck in HardFault_Handler().I used an png image and it's size is about 24 Kbyte.I cannot find any reason for this problem. Can you help about this problem??Regards,Patrick.
Is it possible to select NO startup screen in an application with TouchGFX Designer?Because I want to show no screen at the beginning until other initialisation-routines are processed.
If the target folder is changed to "Programs - System folder" during the installation, then the error message "No spaces allowed" appears! Is there a way to install there anyway?

Hi I can't run emwin for my board ( my board is stm32f429bit6 but isn't disco board )I want a video or text that can teach me how to run emwin for my bord step by step frome cube and kile.Tanks for all
I see that inside TouchGFX projects there is a default class for the touchController (ST1232), but it's then reimplemented with a specific class for every disco board. Is there any way to use that class(ST1232)? i need that because my board touch will use a similar driver (ST1633)ThanksStefano
Hello,I would like to know if you could give me any tips about how to display with TouchGFX an image on screen that comes from a USB stick? Thanks in advance for your help.
I'm trying to get a new display board working. It has an STM32F469, and external SDRAM. Using STM32CubeIDE and TouchGFX to generate code. So far, all I get on the screen is a filled background color, as set it in LTDC settings. No other graphics . Does this mean that at least the external SDRAM and frame buffer are working correctly? I'm trying to narrow down where to look for the problem since every part of this task is new.
Hey.I am using the STM32F769I Discovery board, and I want to decode a JPEG which I receive from Arducam Mini via SPI.I used the code from the JPEG_DecodingUsingFs_DMA Example and modified the JPEG_Decode_DMA function in a way, that it takes a binary array as data input, rather than a file object. Everything else stayed the same. However, when I start decoding, I won't get to JpegProcessingEnd triggered by the JPEG_OutputHandler. This seem to be, because of the Jpeg_OUT_BufferTabs won't change their state to "FULL".Any idea or hint for me why this is not working?Or what I can test to find out the cause for that?
Hello!I use STM32F429IGT and I have an LCD with SDRAM, that? I thought, was correctly configured. But now I guess, something is wrong because one function - GUI_MEMDEV_ROTATE - does nothing when called. All other functions work correctly.For example i try to use that code (exactly document UM03001.pdf (emWin User Guide and Reference Manual), page 368):GUI_MEMDEV_Handle hMemSource; GUI_MEMDEV_Handle hMemDest; GUI_RECT RectSource = {0, 0, 69, 39}; GUI_RECT RectDest = {0, 0, 79, 79}; hMemSource = GUI_MEMDEV_CreateFixed(RectSource.x0, RectSource.y0, RectSource.x1 - RectSource.x0 + 1, RectSource.y1 - RectSource.y0 + 1, GUI_MEMDEV_NOTRANS, GUI_MEMDEV_APILIST_32, GUI_COLOR_CONV_888); hMemDest = GUI_MEMDEV_CreateFixed(RectDest.x0, RectDest.y0, RectDest.x1 - RectDest.x0 + 1, RectDest.y1 - RectDest.y0 + 1, GUI_MEMDEV_NOTRANS, GUI_MEMDEV_APILIST_32, GUI_COLOR_CONV_888); GUI_MEMDEV_Select(hMemSource); GUI_DrawGradientV(RectSource.x0, RectSource.y0, RectSource.x1, RectSource.y1, GUI_WHITE, GUI_DARK
