Need guidance to interface 1.54" TFT LCD with STM32F469?

I am using STM32F469 for my project. Also, I want to interface 1.54" TFT LCD with it.

I used CubeMX for pin configuration and initialisation. By default, it is initialising the graphics for 4" Touch LCD (800*480) with RGB interface.

I changed the same to 240*240 physical display size and then designed a simple GUI for test purpose using GUI Builder by STemWin.

Is this a right approach or I need t change it? Please help me out so I can start my further development.
