When I enable TouchGfx in Middleware->Graphics the Timer2 is being disabled (in ParameterSettings->TimerInstrumentation I select Timer14). Is there a connection between those two or it is a kind of bug I can fix manually in code?
Hi,I am trying to get a simple numpad on screen working by using callbacks, rather than virtual functions.Here is the Screen1View.cpp. #include <gui/screen1_screen/Screen1View.hpp> Screen1View::Screen1View() : // TextClickedCallback(this, &Screen1View::editTextClickHandler){} numpadCallback(this, &Screen1View::numpadClickHandler){} void Screen1View::setupScreen() { Screen1ViewBase::setupScreen(); // editText.setClickAction(TextClickedCallback); Button_0.setClickAction(numpadCallback); Button_1.setClickAction(numpadCallback); Button_2.setClickAction(numpadCallback); Button_3.setClickAction(numpadCallback); Button_4.setClickAction(numpadCallback); Button_5.setClickAction(numpadCallback); Button_6.setClickAction(numpadCallback); Button_7.setClickAction(numpadCallback); Button_8.setClickAction(numpadCallback); Button_9.setClickAction(numpadCallback); Button_neg.setClickAction(numpadCallback); Button_back.setClickAction(numpadCallback); Butt
I am just starting out with GFX and have a few questions if anyone has the time to help me out a bit.Asset creation , I see I can make custom slider for example , and custom containers but it seems that this is all project specific , is it possible to make a custom container and have access to it at all times or even accumulate "assets" or custom containers ?Do I need to know programming to do anything more then the basics, or am i just not seeing the possibilities with the available widgets ?I downloaded the graph application on the forum , cannot test it yet but how would I go about using such a thing in an already made project , I can open it but I cannot import it into an existing project. How would I go about making a meter like this , taken from the GFX site, could I do this with the box progress ? I could imagine so but how to do the peak portion of the meter, and set the ballistics ? Maybe I really need programming to be able to do what I want?6.Are there any additional widgets I
Im working on a STM32F407 MCU with an 320x240 px Display (16bit colors) connected to the FSMC. Id like to avoid using an external RAM.Is it possible to have a smaller Framebuffer located in the internal RAM? I guess it could be interesting to vary the buffer size to for example to 40 lines ( 320x40x16bit in my example) and putting the area to the internal RAM.If its not possible might it be interesting to make a feature request?Thank you in advance.
Hi,we have custom board based on stm32f769 and ov2640 camera configured to jpeg output at 160x120 resolution. camera output is saved into file and when opened it is black.when file content is viewed it has proper header and end bytes as shown in screenshots jpg1,jpg2.I am configuring below values during ov2640 initialization.Attached the obtained image from camera frame buffer. can someone suggest some additional configuration is needed? brightness settings or someother settings?// Hardware reset HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOI, GPIO_PIN_8, GPIO_PIN_RESET); CAMERA_Delay(100); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOI, GPIO_PIN_8, GPIO_PIN_SET); CAMERA_Delay(100); /* Prepare the camera to be configured */ CAMERA_IO_Write8(DeviceAddr, OV2640_DSP_RA_DLMT, 0x01); CAMERA_IO_Write8(DeviceAddr, OV2640_SENSOR_COM7, 0x80); CAMERA_Delay(200); /* Initialize OV2640 */ switch (resolution) { case CAMERA_R160x120: { for(index=0; index&
HiI have a container (menuScreen) with some buttons in it and I want to change to a screenview depending on the buttons. I'm accesing this container (menuScreen) from another container that is added in every screen in the designer. Is it possible to change to a screen from this container (menuScreen)?Regards Dejan
HiI would like to call C++ functions from C file. For example I have a Callback to change the screen (void FrontendApplication::goToMainScreenCustom()) in FrontendApplication. I want to call this function from a C file.Does anyone have an idea how to make this? Do I need a wrapper for such calls from a C file?RegardsDejan
Please suggest how timestamps can be logged onto a text file using the Unico GUI
I am using touchgfx to draw a sine line.I have two questions. This is what I drawed using touchgfx simulator.First question:It looks like somewhere of the line is in light color, I don't konw why? Can it be fixed? This is the drawing using memeory . The CWR using memory is keeping growing.I set the canvas buffer size 32767 which is the largest number. It still is not enough. If I draw some complext line ,it will be a disaster...So the second question:How can I draw line with smallest memory?Best regards for answering. Thanks...
Is it possible to modify the function “void Image::setBitmap(const Bitmap& bmp)??I tried to modify this function in the file "\framework\source\touchgfx\widgets\Image.cpp", but the code I modified is useless. Even if I remove this function from Image.cpp, the project can still be successfully built.
I have made a custom slider , vertical , using pngs .When I run the simulator it does not appear .The default Slider shows but weird refresh and leaves a trail ?Also , is there a way to say which item is on top of the other ? Bring to front , send to back ?
Hi @Martin KJELDSEN !This time I'm trying to make a scrollable container containing custom containers I've made. But how do I add the custom container to be a part of the scrollable container in the designer? I can't get the scrollable container to scroll when I first add a scrollable container and then add my custom containers. And I tried making a custom container with a scrollable container, but then I can't add my custom container to my other custom container including the scrollable container. Do you follow? :grinning_face_with_sweat: Do you have any examples using scrollable containers that can inspire me to solve my issue? Preferrably examples I can open in the designer. :smiling_face_with_smiling_eyes: Thankful for answers!
I'm using the TEXT widget. How do you view a changing variable? The variable is changed by a counter and does not depend on the touch screen buttons.
this project is either too old or not workinghttp://sw-center.st.com/touchgfx/TouchGFX/Community/GraphApplication.zip my purpose is to read and translate the signal before adc channels but I have tried this file or using the old touch issue problematic touch touch gfx
HiI want work by touch xpt2046I have an example for this but this used spl library. I created a project by cube an config spi2 then generated my project and add xpt library from example project to new project. All function work true Except WR_CMD function!!Can anyone help me to Chenge the function until this function work carefully??I put example project and new project in next post
https://www.touchgfx.com/news/high-quality-graphics-using-only-internal-memory/Hey there ... I have a custom board having STM32F429ZI MCU. I'm using TFT display with ST7789V controller For my graphics related project, I'm going to use TouchGFX but the problem is, hardware has been already developed and i need to deal with SPI Display only (as display is connected with SPI2 of the MCU) . Board also contains the SPI flash , No may i seek any possibility to go with touchGFX (my baremetal code with SPI display working great)I need to use internal SDRAM for the frame buffer I just little roam on goggle and i have found the same reference here My graphics requirement is not too high I needs some expert advice Thanks
Is it possible to have good qualities video (1080p, or 4k) using a camera and the DCMI port of the STM32F7 ? I would like to make my own board using an F7 and a camera, then stream the video to my phone using Wifi or an Ethernet cable, but I am afraid that even an F7 is not powerful enough to process high quality images.Do you have some references of camera I can use ?Thanks.

Please help if any one knows how to implement GUI on stm32 with tft, specially which GUI software is used and how to implement on stm32f407vg mcu.
I am trying to add an additional task to my TouchGFX project. The purpose of the additional task is to control stepper motors. I am following the procedure given in the c_task_conderser_example from the TouchGFX website. My problem is that whenever I add a task my display freezes. This occurs even if the task is a simple task that does nothing. Here is my code:void stepperTask(void const * argument). <---- most simple task I could create { for(;;) { // vTaskDelay(500); osDelay(500); } } int main(void) { HAL_Init(); [BUNCH OF INITIALIZATION CODE REMOVED FROM HERE TO IMPROVE CLARITY] /* Initialise the graphical hardware */ GRAPHICS_HW_Init(); /* Initialise the graphical stack engine */ GRAPHICS_Init(); /* Create the thread(s) */ /* definition and creation of defaultTask */ osThreadDef(defaultTask, StartDefaultTask, osPriorityNormal, 0, 4096); defaultTaskHandle = osThreadCreate(osThread(defaultTask), NULL); /* USER CODE B
There is a "CubeIDE 1.0 and TouchGFX 4.10.0: Resolving integration issues (1080p) " video presented by Mr Matrin Kjeldsen on the Youtube. It is a very valuable material. It solves the problems, but only with the STM32F746G Discovery board. Analogues problems appear with the STM32F469 and STM32F769 Discovery boards.
HiIs there a solution to open a keyboard when pressing on a textArea? Now I have implemented a flexButton and a textArea above that button. By clicking on the text/button the keyboard is popping up. If you have lots of textAreas that's too much work.RegardsDejan
Is there a way I can control SDRAM refresh to occur during frame blanking using LTDC and FMC on a STM32H743?Thanks
after running Cube for H7,the <project folder> <template> folder has no files.I had to copy this to make it work:I had to copy the contents of the folder :C:\Users\DAVE\STM32Cube\Repository\STM32Cube_FW_H7_V1.5.0\Drivers\CMSIS\Device\ST\STM32H7xx\Source/ select "Templates"to :C:/Users/DAVE/STM32Cube/Repository/STM32Cube_FW_H7_V1.5.0/Projects/H743-144-LCD1/Drivers/CMSIS/Device/ST/STM32H7xx/Source
Working on STM32F746G-Disco board, my app works on board, simulator compiles on Visual Studio, but won't compile on TouchGFX designer and keeps saying " fatal error: mvp/MVPApplication.hpp: No such file or directory #include <mvp/MVPApplication.hpp>but that file it is there indeed, otherwise MVS wouldn't compile, correct me if i'm wrong.Btw is no big deal since i can run simulator from Visual studio, problem is when i run simulato, seems working fine, but when i change screen i have this error: How should i fix this?ThanksStefanoEDIT, i took a working backup without this error, and got again this error only if i lounch simulator via visual studio, from TouchGFX simulator still works fine, so my question is, what differences are betwen those 2 ways to launch simulator? bacause i'd like to use debugging on visual studio, but that one not working
