Hello,The datasheet for the STM32WB55 says that the STM32WB55Rx (the VFQFPN68 version) has 4x28 LCD capability. The same datasheet lists LCD_COM4, LCD_COM5 and LCD_COM6 as alternate functions for pins PC10, PC11 and PC12 which correspond to pins 58, 59 and 60 on the VFQFPN68 package. Are these alternate functions actually usable on the STM32WB55Rx which would mean that I'm able to drive a 7x25 LCD?Sincerely,Ben Vernier
I am able to print numbers using Wildcard Characters = "0123456789-" and Wildcard Range = "0-9" but I cannot print normal test like "IR event received".I see only the first character so "I" or "I????????", why ?test1 Unicode::snprintf(IRBuffer, IR_SIZE, "%s", "IR event received");test2 Unicode::strncpy(IRBuffer, "IR event received %i", 200);test3 touchgfx::Unicode::UnicodeChar tmpfmt[200]; touchgfx::Unicode::strncpy(tmpfmt, "IR event received %i", 200); touchgfx::Unicode::snprintf(IRBuffer, IR_SIZE, tmpfmt); IR.setWildcard(IRBuffer); IR.resizeToCurrentText(); IR.invalidate();
Hello.I'm working on a project using a STM32L475VG with a TFT screen (240 x 400) and we would like to use TouchGFX as graphical tool. The website tells me the STM32L4 MCUs are supposed to be compatible with TouchGFX, but STM32CubeMX does not propose me the "GRAPHICS" part in the modules list (not even appears disabled).Even for the STM32L496G-DISCOVERY, presented as reference, STM32CubeMX does not provide me any graphical option. What does mean this contradiction ? Does the error come from STM website or from STMCubeMX ?Is STM32L475VG really compatible with TouchGFX and, if so, how can I use it in my project without using STM32CubeMX ?Thanks in advance.Best regards,Nicolas
I'm using STM32F746 DISCOVERY and compiling with TFT 7inch based on "https://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360019884752-Configuring-STM32F746G-DISCO"1>Of cource i have change size of TFT to 800x400, that mean Display X size = 800 and Display Y size = 400 as picture "TouchGFX"when i compile i have error such as picture "IAR"2>I see that seem i declare memory in "stm32f746xx_flash.icf" file is not enough such as picture "QSPI"3>When i change data in "stm32f746xx_flash.icf" file define symbol __QSPI_start__ = 0x80000000; define symbol __QSPI_end__ = 0x90100000; after that i compile again, this is OK.4> I'm not understand i change as above, that is correct. So anybody can let me know the correct value i can input for define symbol __QSPI_start__=? define symbol __QSPI_end__ = ?I hope some expert can help me.Thanks and best regards.

My first simplest touchGFX application can run on my st board. Now, I changed some UI with Designer and generate code, the BoardConfiguration.cpp need to be re-compiled, otherwise, an error generated at run time with message as "View allocation error: Check that all views are added to FrontendHeap::ViewTypes".My project is big, so I separate the hardware driver from the UI code as a lib file. I think, BoardConfiguration.cpp should only rely on hardware and has nothing to do with final UI code. So, can I separate final UI related things (memory size I guess) from BoardConfiguration, and put it at the app initialization section.
In Screen, I have 3 or more widgets , they are the same type of widget, but can not make them in one container. In normal , I have to invalid one by one. Now , I need them to refresh together, how do I do?
Hello, I have an imageProgress in my design and I choose Appearence direction to right in designer. After clicking generate code button, firmware cannot be compiled. When I look at the ScreenViewBase.cpp I see below code for error. imageProgress1.setXY(174, 17); imageProgress1.setProgressIndicatorPosition(0, 0, 48, 12); imageProgress1.setRange(0, 100); imageProgress1.setDirection(touchgfx::AbstractDirectionProgress::RİGHT); imageProgress1.setBitmap(BITMAP_BATTERYICON_CHARGING_ID); imageProgress1.setValue(100); imageProgress1.setAnchorAtZero(false);"I" character of right text is with a dot, so it cannot be compiled. compiler gives error about unknown character. In Turkish there are upper characters of "i" with dot or without dot. Although this is a compiled code, I though maybe its a problem about my pc language. I changed my pc and keyboard language to English but it still has same problem. In AbstractDirectionProgress.hpp file direction type is correct (upper "i" character is wi
I have setup the board using CUBEMX 5.4.0 and firmware 7.15 for the board. I have followed the steps indicated in this post below. https://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020208091-Configuring-STM32F769I-DISCOI have no idea on how to add QSPI support to the linker as indicated in the post. The post has instructions for KEIL but I am using CUBEIDE. All I get is snow on the LCD screen of the discovery board. Could the linker file be my problem in this case? If so, can someone point me to instrucitons on how to add QSPI support in the linker for this board? Thanks
I managed to compile a project without error s but every time i flash it the display become black.
Hi All,I need your help , I am configuring TouchGFX with DSI ( STM32F778AI ) with RM67162 360X320 pixels display. Before adding TouchGFX I was able to write using LTDC,DMA2D and DSIHost without any pixel shift ( also without TE ).After I added TouchGFX I suppose to have pixel shift , Basically what I done I tried to draw Red color on full screen and I have lines from top to bottom ( attached picture ).TE is 60HZ coming from display.Buffer configured to external memory to address 0xC0000000I tried :LTDC clock slower to 10 MHZ - still the same.DSI-Host clock slower to 16 MHZ - still the same.void HAL_DSI_TearingEffectCallback(DSI_HandleTypeDef *hdsi) { /* USER CODE BEGIN DSI_TearingEffectCallback */ /* Used when the OTM8009 LCD driver is selected */ GPIO::set(GPIO::VSYNC_FREQ); HAL::getInstance()->vSync(); OSWrappers::signalVSync(); if (!doubleBufferingEnabled && HAL::getInstance()) { // In single buffering, only require that the system waits
i am getting a load of errors when trying to compile, i have successfully completed the initial video 'Integrating Touchgfx and Cubemx',. here are some errorsall the undefined are in the cmsis.os.c so they should be seen any ideas,
My HW_Init.cpp is as follows. How do I modify the LCD display orientation?
In my final design, I will have an SD Card to read/write to. When running in the simulator, is there a way to redirect that file I/O to my local PC's file system? If so, is there a demo that maybe does this. I'm new to C/C++, so any examples are gold to me right now.
Hi all,I have this Eclipse related error on CubeIDE that is very bizarre and any help for it would really be appreciated. I have my project running with TouchGFX and everything was smooth to the point that I tried to Discovery Camera BSP file to main.cpp. I have other BSP files that work just fine in main.cpp. All files are defined with headers, their libraries and paths defined but I get an error of undefined reference to `HAL_DCMI_Stop' . This is just an example of one function called from #include "stm32746g_discovery_camera.c" All functions from this file that use HAL library produce this error. Bizarelly I tried calling the same function from one of my screenview.cpp file and it compiled fine without errors; Same header files included in both cases. Researching the error on eclipse forums, it is defined as a linker error and that the library is to be defined in linker settings, but if it works fine in other cpp files then what may be the problem? I even tried adding the libra
Visual Studio compiles the simulation project generated by TouchGFX. See attachment for error messages. Don't know how to solve it.
I am not able to Flash code from IAR to STM32F750 EVK Board. But the same Code Hex file able to Flash in ST-Link Utility.
Hello, I would like to reverse the screen orientation on the Hello World example for STemWin provided in STM32Cube_FW_L4_V1.14.0I have understand that the simplest way to do that is by selecting the LCD driver following the desired screen orientation as describe in section 33.5 Display orientation of STemWin user guide. The only modification made in the example project is adding the folowing after GUI_DispStringHCenterAt : GUI_DrawRect(10,10,100,100);Here is the result with the configuration :#define ORIENTATION_0 ROTATION_0#define ORIENTATION_0 ROTATION_CW#define ORIENTATION_0 ROTATION_180#define ORIENTATION_0 ROTATION_CCWDid I miss another configuration in LCDConf.c ? Thanks
I turn on the periphery in defaukt Mode. I add TouchGX, Display Parallel Interface, I set LSD Reset Pin on PI12. I set TouchGFX. I design in TouchGFX Designer. I generate the code, save and leave TouchGFX. I generate code in CubeMX. There are errors after compilation. Why?
I'm using a STM32F7508-DK boar, so I need to run my code from QSPI flash. My application is running on target, but all the animations are slower than it should be. When running on simulator, everything runs perfect. Screen transitions without effects seems ok too! Attached ia video running a logo fade (time = 500ms). Did anyone have this problem too? Thanks a lot!
Hi,I am trying to reconfigure my project based off the STM32H750B-DK to run on the same part but from a custom PCB. I am using IAR and EWARM. I have configured my icf file based on what I would like for a memory map. The project builds okay, and I can verify what I am looking for with the map file, but for some reason after flashing the board my device screen is pure white (as if it was looking at initialized memory). Is there something in a source file that could be fighting with what I am trying to tell the linker/locator to do or am I missing a MAKE option? I have attached two map files to this message. The first map file is for an external SRAM build and uses the linker script included with the project; this is the working version. I have another map file which is using my custom linker script to build for internal SRAM (this version gives the white screen). Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
TouchGFX generates incorrect code that will not compile. Even though a small fix is indicated, I cannot get touchGFX to leave the correct code alone and compile the project. The error I get is In file included from TouchGFX/generated/gui_generated/src/screen1_screen/Screen1ViewBase.cpp:4:0: TouchGFX/generated/gui_generated/include/gui_generated/screen1_screen/Screen1ViewBase.hpp:12:38: warning: extra tokens at end of #include directive #include <touchgfx/widgets/Image.hpp>#include <touchgfx/canvas_widget_renderer/CanvasWidgetRenderer.hpp>Where it is simple to ascertain that there is a missing carriage return between the #include directives.Removing write protection (ha ha) and fixing did not provide me with any solution as 'RunTarget' overwrites the change. The client, who was with me designing his forms was not amused.I have tried several examples, all of which claim to run on the F769 Discovery board I am currently
Hi,I am using TouchGFX 4.10 with STM32F769 on a custom board. My graphics includes 2 archs and 2 gauges (added as png) that must be rotate and two counters in the format HH:MMWhen the system is active, counters must have “:? blinking @2Hz and gauges and archs must move.To move gauges I am using gaugeX.updateAngles(0.0F, 0.0F, zAngle2D_x); and to move archs i am using arcX.updateArcEnd(ARCH_END_x);All is in the main routine void monitorView::handleTickEvent()No issue in moving gauges and archs… the problem is that blinking is stopped when archs and/or gauges are moving. It seems that updateAngles and updateArcEnd are blocking till these routine are ended.Any suggestion on how to solve this are welcome. Thanks
hi dear.I am using Numeric Keyboard and Qwerty Keyboard using TouchGFX.My native language is Korean and our product needs a keyboard to input Korean. The keyboard for entering English is made very easy. But I don't know how to make Korean keyboard. How can I make it?
