Hello,I'm using an STM32F746 based board from EDT (http://www.edtc.com/sb_readmore.php?id=23), which can be selected as an application template in the TouchGFX Designer and start from there with the IAR toolchain.I'm having troubles being able to perform operations on the internal flash (erase/read) after the initialization of touchgfx is done:STM32F7DMA dma; ETEM043005XDH6TouchController tc; STM32F7Instrumentation mcuInstr; #if !defined(USE_BPP) || USE_BPP==16 LCD16bpp display; #elif USE_BPP==24 LCD24bpp display; #else #error Unknown USE_BPP #endif void touchgfx_init() { HAL& hal = touchgfx_generic_init<STM32F7HAL>(dma, display, tc, 480, 272, 0, 0); os_inited = true; #if !defined(USE_BPP) || USE_BPP==16 #ifdef SINGLE_FRAME_BUFFER_INTERNAL //setup for single buffering hal.setFrameBufferStartAddress((uint16_t*)frameBuf0, 16, false, false); // The optimized strategy for single buffering requires the presence of a // task delay function.
Hi Does keil have a similar approach, or do we have to manually switch?/korry
I have searched the forum and unfortunately have not yet found a solution to this problem.I think it's a known problem but I haven't found a work aroud yet. After stopping at a breakpoint, I cannot continue debugging the program with singles steps. Hi,I am a new developer of stm32h750dk.Develop environment:OS:Windows 10Compile tool:1, gcc 9-2019-q4-major link:https://launchpad.net/gcc-arm-embedded/+milestone/9-2019-q4-major2, make MinGW link:http://www.mingw.org/I generate stm32h750dk online application on touchGFX designer 4.12.3.When i use gcc to compile the source code, it shows me nothing.1/ make -f Makefile all2/make -d MakefileI generate the source code for stm32f103 via stm32cubemx, it compiles well.
I watched a ST webinar on the TouchGFX and the HMI of things. I tried to duplicate the exercise on my STM32F469 DISCO kit. The graphics work. But the touch screen does not.I tried on a STM32F429 Discovery board and the example and touch screen work just fine.I looked through all options, I nothing jumped out for me.What do I need to do to get the touch screen working on the 69?
Touch GFX 4.13.0STM32CubeMX 5.6.0STM32H7Cube 1.7.0Board: STM32H753I-EVAL2 (Screen size for reference is 640X480)I am developing simple GUI application with 2 screens. each screen has one button with label.Since the V3 template for this board is not available. I going through the route of creating my own template from CubeMX.FMC clock = 200MHzLTDC clock = 25 MHzI am using external SDRAM with double frambuffer. location of frambufferFrambuffer1 = 0xD0000000Frambuffer2 = 0xD00E1000attached is the GUI I am getting on my hardware.Attached is GUI on my SimulatorIf you notice the Button is only shown Half. I even tried with single buffer but same result.I am attaching my project for reference.I am waiting for V3 template available from TouchGFX, hope it gets uploaded very soon. Thanks
HiI want to creat my keyboard , but the problem arises.I have to make it as close to the touchgfx example as possible, but the problem remained.I'd appreciate your advice.Thank you.
Hello! I have a problem with my Stm32f746g-disco.Using TouchGFX and CubeIDE I can program my GUI and flash it, but fade animation "flickers". Other images are OK. My application doesn't have a complex task, it just shows a white screen with a logo fading. Thanks for all!
When I add my second FlexButton to any screen, and click "Can trigger another interaction", for that FlexButton I get the error in the "Run Simulator" build of the project. error: 'FlexButton' is not a member of 'touchgfx'By unchecking, the "Can trigger another interaction", the problem immediately goes away.Noted this case immediately, when I was testing with custom containers, and had 3 containers on a screen. The custom container, had a flex button, to Fade something in the custom container.Using TouchGFX, 4.12.3
Hi All, I have a project that uses code generated from TouchGFX. I have sucessfully imported this into CubeIDE. Now I want to try CubeMonitor, so I am following this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIrTYMl7fD0 to see if I can get it to workwith my project. In the video He says to link the variables node to the .axf file (to produce a drop down list of available vars). My project is created from Touch GFX (using FreeRTOS) and I don;t think it has a .AFX file (I can't seem to find one). How do I get CubeMonitor to pick-up my variable list??CheersMichael

Hello,Imagine I've got an object, say a numpad, that I want to display or hide upon a specific button press. What are the pros and cons of using one method vs the other? I'm especially asking in terms of performance as keeping the object added but hidden allows to do a partial redraw (object.invalidate()).Should add/remove only be used when we wish to change the Z-order of the object? Thanks in advance.
Here is my problem:I create a STM32cube IDE project by including an additionnal software named TouchGFX . I generate the project so that it gets with the discovery 32F469 NI card...and a windows message appears which is following: " These IPs still have some not configured or wrong parameters values [STMicroelectronicsX-CUBE-TOUCHGFX 4.13.0.The build of the project gives some errors identified in the OSwrappers and TouchGFXconfiguration .cpp
I'm able to write data to SDRAM manually with my configurations. Btw I was able to make a project with CubeIDE 1.0.0 but I'm going to develop with and custom board and I can't use BSP or discovery library. So I watched this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o42r4xXOnbovideo and did the same thing with this guy (for STM32F429i off course) but it didn't work. Can anyone please help me?Here is my code.https://drive.google.com/open?id=1dUMqzb3d2cTnde-zhddGalODEOSh02IfThank you.
Hi there,I'd like to use STM32F469-DISCO and UART to communicate with 3rd MCU.I tried to follow tutorials out there but didn't work on F469-DISCO since all tutorials are for F746 board.Especially, on TouchGFX, it doesn't generate any code for stm32CUBE IDE for F469.Is there any easy solution for it?Thanks in advance.
I have TouchGFX designer working with both STM32F469I and STM32F429 discovery kits - using ST-link.Does TouchGFX support J-Link? If so, how? And where would I find that info without posting (ie. be self sufficient?)?if not, is the any effort toward supporting J-Link? I do find it faster on download.
Hi all,I stumbled upon this in my BoardConfiguration file:#if !defined(USE_BPP) || USE_BPP==16 #define HACT 200 /* Note: 16bpp: Screen divided in 4 areas of 200 pixels to avoid DSI tearing */ #elif USE_BPP==24 #define HACT 400 /* Note: 24bpp: Screen divided in 2 areas of 400 pixels to avoid DSI tearing */ #else #error Unknown USE_BPP #endifMy question is, why is the active width not simply the actual width of the display (800)? I thought the tearing effect is configured, so that after the full display has updated the GRAM can be updated. The framebuffer is configured to use the full width, that's why it doesn't make sense to me to divide the screen.
The weird thing is that in FrontendHeap & heap = FrontendHeap :: getInstance (); into HardFault_HandlerThe weird thing is that in FrontendHeap & heap = FrontendHeap :: getInstance (); into HardFault_Handler.Thanks in advance?
I have two questions.first:When I add the Line widget to the container widget, a HardFault interrupt occurs.I confirmed that adding the Line widget to the normal screen worked well. What is the problem?second:When I allocate memory using the "new" operator, the system is showdown. But I have no problem using the "malloc" function. How can I solve this?I have set the Heap memory size enough. The development environment is as follows.IDE: STM32CubeIde 1.1TouchGFX 4.12.3
Hi,my application 800X480 consists of two modes: single and double.Single mode is full screen, made up of several screens, and it's ok.The second consists of the screen divided in half. Each half must be independent of the other, so it's like you have two screens side by side.I have seen that it is not possible to resize the screen, because it is always full screen.I tried to create the various screens in half using the custom containers. In the single screen I load all the custom containers, both on the right and left side and through the "visible" property I display one at a time.First question, is it correct to implement my application with custom containers? It seems to work well, however, since in the various screens I have animated images, at some point an "assert" message comes out saying that I have reached the number maximum of animated widgets (32).So I tried to define only the pointers to the custom containers and through the dynamic memory I size them one at a time and displa
Now i`m using cubeide with touch gfx, and i have a problems with cubeide becouse i can`t generate the graphic project like everybody do it on tutotrials on yt. they have a little bit different board (with bigger screen) but i`m doing everything exactly like they and i have message like in the picture. Somebody know the reason??
Hello community,do you guys know, how to intercept events globally inside TouchGfx and retrieving the receiving GUI element? The only way it seems to offer, is to register an UIEventListener at the HAL singleton. But this method has the disadvantage, that an event from HAL doesn't offer information about the target widget which receives the event. It is possible to use getLastChild or the focus property to resolve the widget. But this method may be inconsistent with the way events are passed down to the child widgets by the Container objects. Also it might behave wrong in case of GUI changes, like screen transitions or similar.Thank you in advance.Regards,ASto
Is there a possibility to handle events which are in specific area, i.e. I would like to know when and how user drags over texture mapper area to rotate it accordingly.Thank You,Sławek
Hello @Martin KJELDSEN any updates for V3 template for STM32H743I-EVAL and STM32H747 When I am working from home our manager as asking for more output in the work as opposed to working in office.I tried to create my own template from CubeMX but it is not working properly.https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W000003KpdESAS/gui-not-displaying-properly-for-stm32h753ieval-with-external-sdram-as-frambufferThanksTushar
Hi Everyone,Sorry for being quiet lately, but due to the pandemic we're all working from home here and it's a bit difficult to be as efficient as usual - so i've had to focus primarily on other tasks, such as the new documentation coming out.I hope to be able to focus my attention on community issues very shortly, and i'll be going back in time to answer posts that haven't received any solid answers.Hope you're all safe and sound, and take care!/Martin
