Hi everyone,I am taking part in a project about display and controller using TFT AT070TN92 with graphic controller SSD1963 and touch controller XPT2046.Please can give me any libary of them for STM32F401RE ?Thank you! PS: I'm not good in English.
HiI do have a resitive touch xpt2046 and a ssd1963 screen. All widgets work fine except the listwheel. When i do touch it, it become highlightet in the first row, but it do not movelistwheel_getpos return zero i do use GUI_TOUCH_Exec(); to update while (1) { HAL_Delay(10); GUI_TOUCH_Exec(); GUI_Exec(); /* USER CODE END WHILE */ /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */ }///// case WM_NOTIFICATION_RELEASED: // USER START (Optionally insert code for reacting on notification message) hItem = WM_GetDialogItem(pMsg->hWin, ID_LISTWHEEL_0); uint16_t position = LISTWHEEL_GetPos(hItem); // position = 15 ; LISTWHEEL_SetSel(hItem, position); // USER END break;//////where to look after the issue ...listwheel do not move ...best regardsHjalmar
We are using the STM32F769 SOC and have found a problem in that the LTDC controller is not started on all resets.Only way to get it to work again is removing power completely.Neither SW or PIN reset works, only POR will make the LTDC start again. All other CPU activity is fine and we have double checked that display is OK and working. The problem only seems to happen on startup, If a unit has started OK it will not stop working. Its a fairly common issue on our design. We would appreciate any hints or errata regarding this.Best regards,Anton Olofsson
I have developed touchgfx based applications in STM32H745XI devices only in Cortex-M7. It went smooth till few screens. later adding one more screen has increased the memory as belowProgram Size: Code=149192 RO-data=549672 RW-data=8968 ZI-data=159696 and the linker settings as as below; *************************************************************; *** Scatter-Loading Description File generated by uVision ***; *************************************************************LR_IROM1 0x08000000 0x00200000 { ; load region size_region ER_IROM1 0x08000000 0x00200000 { ; load address = execution address *.o (RESET, +First) *(InRoot$$Sections) .ANY (+RO) } RW_IRAM1 0x24000000 0x00080000{ ; RW data .ANY (+RW +ZI) }}As per data sheet 0x2400000 AXISRAM has up to 800Kbytes of memory and there is no error for memory overflow. But code is not executing. I have tried debugging and s
Can someone helps me how to use the LCD on the STM32F413H-Disco, I want to display a message on it.Have you got some suggestions please?thanks
Dear STM community and teamI'd like to try out some widget on the TouchGFX Simulator but since the png-data does not show properly on the simulation, it is difficult to do so. Any idea to resolve this problem?I have attached some pictures of the simulation. Temperaturebar and icons on the buttons is not displayed correctly.
I am currently looking to start a TouchGFX 4.15 project inside the STM32CubeIDE but it is not as straight forward as I was hoping. My knowledge in some of the areas required to make it work are lacking so I'm hoping this thread will help me learn more as well as solve my problem. I am also new to STM32CubeIDE. First, after creating the project and selecting my P-Nucleo-WB55 board, I immediately added the software pack for TouchGFX version 4.15, and enabled it along with the CRC that was required. Without adjusting any of the settings I went to debug and was presented with this list of errors So I added the include path "C:\TouchGFX\4.15.0\touchgfx\framework\include" to the project. I also opened up the TouchGFX project and generated the initial code (just a screen with a button). Now I'm presented with this error. Does this issue with the linker have to do with TouchGFX generating C++ code while everything else is written in C?
I'm looking to start a project with the STM32WB55 dual core MCU. It seems that out of the box, none of the graphics solutions with work with this MCU (TouchGFX, STemWin) easily. Which GUI generator would be best to work with for this project? My goal for this project is to send and receive data on the M0 core using bluetooth and also pass data to and from the M4 core which will be hosting the GUI. Thanks

Hi, I want to write a text from keyboard widget on touchgfx but i do not this only on keyboard, also a new box on the screen. How can i do? I'm new to Touchgfx.#TouchGFX #touchgfxkeyboard#keyboard #TouchGFXGenerator
Hello to all,I am developing an application in which I have to dynamically draw an image on the display.Looking online I found that the most adopted solution is to use dynamicBitmaps but I also saw that you can directly use the frame buffer withHAL::getInstance()->lockFrameBuffer(); HAL::HAL::getInstance()->unlockFrameBuffer();Which of the two solutions is more recommended or when to use one rather than another solution? Thanks in advance.
Is TouchGFX implemented on the 32F413HDiscovery Board? And if yes, how can I implement it? Because I tried in so many ways but either I have nonsenses errors, or I don't have the right screen size, and so it won't compile and run
Often I call the C function from the hardware in Model::tick() function. But how can I call the function of Model outside. If I add a member variable to get the Instance(this) of Model, is there any risk? I mean if Model writed by Singleton mode.
Hello,I'm back with some new questions! Thanks for always being helpful... here we go.From within a class that I have extended the Container object, I am unable to simply use my object as such:application().getCurrentScreen()->getRootContainer().add(myObj);then my compiler throws this error:no known conversion for argument 1 from 'modalBase*' to 'touchgfx::Drawable&'If I try the same thing with a custom container that I created from within TouchGFX designer, I can compile just fine, and the code works as expected.I am extending the Container object just as TouchGFX does:class modalBase : public touchgfx::Container { public: modalBase(); virtual ~modalBase() {} virtual void initialize(); protected: private: }
So I started a Project in CubeIDE with the standart settings and the resolving integration issues Video. All worked well. But now i enabled LwIP with standart Settings and I get the Error, that the SDL2/SDL_video.h File in the HALSDL2 Header couldn't be found. But shouldn't this File be excluded from the Build? How can it throw a Error in there? Also if i restart CubeIDE and build again, sometimes i get a lot of errors in the TouchGFX/Simulator Folder, which also should be excluded. If I disable LwIP again and restart CubeIDE it wil work again.Versions:CubeIDE: 1.0.1TouchGFX: 4.10.0MCU: STM32F746G-DiscoverySincerly,Kevin
I am looking for having multiple y data on one x while using dynamic graph widget for some x points. I wonder if it is possible to do so in the present graph api. x data is time shaped and y data is sensor data.I mean that sensor might have two (or more ) data on some times.
Hi,I need al little help running TouchGFX to a STM32F207VG MCU. We already have a custom board featuring this MCU and a touchscreen with an ILI9341 driver IC. The screen communication is done using the FSMC on the MCU. I've got code working to write data to the framebuffer integrated into the screen and I also tried a couple of examples on Discovery boards featuring other MCUs.Now I want to combine these. I quickly realized that code generation for TouchGFX is not supported in CubeMX for this chip. Can I just generate a gui and add it to a project generated with CubeMX and manually add my driver code? Or is there another way? Thanks in advance!
Dear ST management in charge of Embedded Tools and Website Management,This year, I have embraced your hardware and tools for our new product development. To say that has been a challenge, is a major understatement. Not due to the microcontroller hardware design complexity, but almost solely due to the development tools ecosystem. You HAVE made many innovations in this arena, for which you should be applauded, but seem to continue to miss many easy to accomplish, but very critcal improvementsthat would dramatically improve your acceptance among professional developers and ultimately result in more revenue. Here is a list of some things that I have noticed, that if addressed, would make me comfortable to spec and use your controllers and components in all my embedded design. If other developers reading this agree, please acknowlege this to ST as well. 1 Remember Login across all ST (Remember Me, should actually REMEMBER ME) 2 FIX EXTREMELY SLOW WEBSITE FOR Technical Resources, typic
I have connected LTDC output to VGA monitor input and the picture is flickering. I've connected HSYNC and VSYNC signals, ground pin and only the highest R/G/B bits over 500 Ohm resistors to R/G/B input signals of the monitor. I've set vertical/horizontal settings according to the VGA timings (pixels, front+back porch, sync) and layer 0 window height/width and frame buffer address to Bank 1 (0x24000000). I get expected result, which are random pixels, since I have not initialized memory. The problem is that the picture on the monitor is not stable. I did something similar some time ago with 8-bit MCU and I got similar flicker when the frequency was not exact (within 0.5%), but when I connected an exact CMOS clock, the flickering stopped. So, I tried different combinations os HSI, on-board HSE CMOS and RC oscillator, VGA signalling for 640x480 and 800x600, no improvement. The image is still flickering.Am I missing something? Or on-board 8Mhz oscillator is not within 0.5% tollerance? It sa
Hi STCommunity,I have a project started in keil, configured through CubeMX via keil's "Manage Run-Time Environment" with RTOS2 RTX5 implemented, just as this guide shows: https://eur02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.keil.com%2Fpack%2Fdoc%2FSTM32Cube%2Fhtml%2Fcubemx_using.html&data=04%7C01%7C%7Cde618df5b527410658bd08d89298fd9c%7Ce369e0ccf38d406b876915438de2e3af%7C1%7C1%7C637420533809252717%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&sdata=cEhUmu%2Fy2t81Cfnj0qNkipiDSKpnWlhIIZviJTjtzlI%3D&reserved=0.From here I'd like to use TouchGFX designer to generate some GUI-software for a NON-touch LCD display for me to implement in my project, but even though ST’s guide claims that it's doable in several of your tutorials/guide (one of them: https://eur02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fsupport.touchgfx.com%2Fdocs%2Fdevelopment%2Fdevelopment-introduction%23custom-hard
Hello,I am trying to display something on the display of a STM32F413ZH board. Following the video in link below I have configured everything in CubeMX (hopefully correctly). Then, the video suggested to get some code for the memory init from an empty TouchGFX project using an available template for the board. And here I have the issue, there is no template for my board. I have tried to used one for the STM32F412G ones, but hardware seems to be quite different and at the end the code compiles but gives error. Can anybody provide a TouchGFX example for my board?CubeIDE 1.0 and TouchGFX 4.10.0: Resolving integration issues (1080p) - YouTubeThanks in advance,Davide
Hello,We have a touchgfx project. I design main screens and write board specific codes to project. My colleauge design some other screens for same project . Is there any way to import his screens to my touchgfx project (with protecting my screens) ?I use import GUI function from touchgfx IDE but it deletes my screen and import his screens. How can I solve this issue ?Regards
Where can I find a IOC file for the STM32H7B3I-DK? As this is a ST supplied Discovery Kit, there should be a IOC file that includes all the CPU internal memory and external memories and GPIOs defined. CubeMX 1.8.0 and TouchGFX 4.15 generate different IOC files even when I start by selecting the STM32H7B3I-DK as the starting point.
Hi,We are a team of developers working on an electronic back mirror application (for cars and / or bicycles). We would like to create a functional demonstrator using a stm32F746-Disco board which we have on hand.Since the image has to be mirrored we hoped that we could program the DMA engines of the LTDC or the DMA2D unit accordingly rathe rthan mirroring in SW ?Best Regards,Jan Stöfer
I have some widgets on top of an image. Those widgets have interactions defined on them. I override handleGestureEvent in my View class. It's almost like the widgets swallow/prevent the gesture event from coming through.
