Hello dear friends,The problem I have encountered is that updating the digital clock takes too much time. So I can see that some time updating takes up to 3 seconds, it is wonderful that other widgets don't stop and do their work.I didn't understand what is really the source of the problem. I use HAL for reading RTC, using the digital clock widget.Touchgfx version: 4.15 (Didn't dare to upgrade to 4.16)RTOS: Not yet used. (Planed for next times)UC: STM32f429IGT6USB: CDC EnabledCompiler: Keil V5.32Any help would be appreciated.
I want to use the CubeMX Plugin in STM32CubeIDE with an TouchGFX project but I'm not able to open the .ioc file inside the imported project. Board: STM32F429I-DISCO1My steps are: make new Project with TouchGFXGenerate CodeStart STCubeIDE and Open Project with "Open Projects from File System"Select "STM32CubeIDE" inside the TouchGFX project directory and importPress "Run"it compiles and runs without errors.First problem: the .ioc file is missing inside the STM32CubeIDE-directory. But just on my PC, on my laptop TouchGFX copied the .ioc files also in the STM32CubeIDE directory. :ghost: Solution:Copy it Second problem:When I double click on the .ioc file, CubeIDE ask friendly for a migration to the latest firmware. To be safe, don't migrate. I just activate one ADC, press safe and run and I get a compile error. ../TouchGFX/target/generated/STM32DMA.cpp:73:79: error: no 'uint32_t STM32F4DMA::getChromARTInputFormat(touchgfx::Bitmap::BitmapFormat)' member function declared in class 'STM32F4D
Hi,im using a STM32F469I-Disco and the newest CubeIDE.I followed this guide, exactly step-by-step:https://community.st.com/s/article/FAQ-GUI-on-STM32F469-Discovery-boards-using-CubeMX-and-STemWinIn Step 1.5. there is a peripheral called "graphics" but i dont have it?What am i doing wrong? Thanks for help!
I have a problem that I cannot include C code in C++ and the opposite. Different sites suggest to solve this problem by including the header file of C in the header file of C++ (Model.hpp) like:#ifdef __cplusplusextern "C"{#endif#include "coreTransferBufferAPI.h"#ifdef __cplusplus }#endifIn the code file Model.cpp, I try to use a function called (CB_Display_GetValues(&values) from this header.CB_DisplayValues_t is also defined in this header, but doesn't show any errors.float Model::getTempValue(){ CB_DisplayValues_t values; if(CB_Display_GetValues(&values)==REPORT_OK) { return values.cellTemperature; } return NULL;}The call of the function (CB_Display_GetValues(&values)) gives an undefined referen

Hi,it is possible to change the name of the project in STM32CUBEIDE?The name is set by TouchGFX designer software by default. When i tried to rename in STM32CUBEIDE i got an error.

Hello AllI am trying to add a ClickListener to ScrollWheel in my project.I am referring following link as a tutorial for the same https://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002825452-Mixins-and-ClickListenerBut, even afer following the tutorial as it is, I am getting following compilation error: error: no match for call to '(touchgfx::Callback<Screen1View, const touchgfx::ScrollWheel&, const touchgfx::ClickEvent&>) (Screen1View*, void (Screen1View::*)(const touchgfx::ScrollWheel&, const touchgfx::ClickEvent&))' MyCallback(this, &Screen1View::MyCallbackHandler){}I am inserting code snippet with this file:Screen1View.cpp#include <gui/screen1_screen/Screen1View.hpp> #include "string.h" #include "main.h" extern UART_HandleTypeDef huart5; Screen1View::Screen1View() { MyCallback(this, &Screen1View::MyCallbackHandler){} } void Screen1View::setupScreen() { scrollWheel1.setClickAction(MyCallback); } void Screen1Vie
Hi, I am developing code for a display on the STM32746G-Discovery.Is it possible to display fonts without blending? (Not to have to erase the background beforehand)If I use the DMA2D with memory to memory with blending, everything works as expected, However if I just use the Memory to Memory with PFC I am getting a filled rectangle. It is like I can't pass information about the background colour; I understand the background fifo is not activated. Is it not possible because of that? Thanks

Hi,I've developed a UI with touchGFX where I'm using a swipe container and to finish my application I think I need a way to know the page I was in the Swipe container. The steps I do are.:1) in page x of the swipe container i press a button to go to another screen2) when I'm in the other screen I press a button on a keyboard to come back to the previous screen and I need to come back exactly to the page of the Swipe container I was before.I've read some discussion on the community about that but If I've understood well, the only way is to add manually a custom container. But I'm at the end of the UI so I would prefer to not follow this way. Is this the only way? So far I've tried to add this function to SwipeContainer.cpp but I got errrors:uint8_t SwipeContainer::getSelectedPage(){ return currentPage;}and to SwipeContainer.hpp (in the public part)uint8_t getSelectedPage();In the screen where the swipe container is used: uint8_t Screen01View::SaveCurrentPage(){ currentPage=Sw
Thank you for helping.In TouchGFXProjects \ hoge \ TouchGFX \ build \ binintflash.hex, target.hex, extflash.bin are created.Please explain these files.What is the format of extflash.bin?Thank you.
Hello,I would like to send the value of a parameter from screen1View.cpp to Model.cpp. Is there any way to do this?I work with TouchGFX 4.14 and STM32429-EvalThanks!
I'm picking up a project I started last year. I'm developing on the STM32F746-DISCO board. It was not a smooth process getting it going. Various Youtube videos helped me over the issues. I am hesitant to upgrade to the latest. For fear of breaking stuff that is working. How much 'better' is the current stuff? Also, is there a video/demo of the new graphical widget? What other new widgets have been added? Thanks, Bob
Posted on February 03, 2017 at 14:40I have Nucleo-F767ZI board and want to use Arduino protoshield to ease making connections to a peripheral (I will solder 2x8 pin header to the shield and use a ribbon cable). However I cannot find any PDF on ST Zio connector, which will apparently be used by the Arduino shield. Where is the data? Also, I'll be using DCMI and I'm worried that ST Zio will pin-collide with it. So it's about: which pins are used by ST Zio, particularly with Arduino shield?Best regards,Sebastian#arduino #dcmi #pins #zio

Hello!I have code, working with FatFS in system area of my project.main.cres = f_opendir(&dir, "0:/"); while(1) { res = f_readdir(&dir, &fileInfo); if (res==FR_OK && fileInfo.fname[0]) { fn = fileInfo.fname; // ... some code } else break; } f_closedir(&dir);And I have scrollList widget, where I want to show filelist. How can I send list of filenames to widget by Model->Presenter->View ?Create array filelist[65535][256] , and send it to view - is not good idea...Step by step sending command from View to System which everytime calls " res = f_readdir(&dir, &fileInfo); ", gets filename, and asks next filename again - is better, but still not good. Can I call res = f_opendir(&dir, "0:/"), and send variable "dir" to view? May be I can #include "fatfs.h" in STORAGE_SCREENView.cpp and work with FatFS from View? What can you advise for me?
Hello i created a custom external loader following this guide. My check code in the main (see the video) works. I can read in memory mapped mode, i can write and i can erase sectors and full chip.I can write to it simple bin files using stM32 Programmer, but, when i try to upload a touchGFX application (created following this video) the programmer say error "Error: failed to download Segment[1]". Hello dear friends,Is there any option or method to show and hide the CURSOR position? The rival product (which I don't like that really much) EMWIN has such an option.
