Hello,I am new to the discovery line up.I am looking for a ST32H board with fast direct MCU connection LCD similar to the STM32H745-DISCO with 2 MCU DAC outputs. I can't use the codec DAC because the latency is too long. I see only one DAC connected to a pin on the STM32H745-DISCO. Suggestions for a board?Is there a real fast way for me to check for DAC pins on the MCU and see if they are routed? I am currently just checking pinouts sample projects with cubeMX of various boards and comparing with schematics.Thanks,Frank
Hello!I made the project for a custom SPI display with configuration like screenshot below: Added in main.c:void StartDefaultTask(void const * argument) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 5 */ MX_TouchGFX_Process(); /* Infinite loop */ for(;;) { osDelay(1); } /* USER CODE END 5 */ }void StartTask02(void const * argument) { /* USER CODE BEGIN StartTask02 */ /* Infinite loop */ for(;;) { osDelay(20); TouchGFX_TickHandler(); } /* USER CODE END StartTask02 */ }And in TouchGFXHAL.cpp:extern "C" void TouchGFX_TickHandler(); void TouchGFX_TickHandler() { OSWrappers::signalVSync(); }The function TouchGFX_TickHandler() called one time and hangs on OSWrappers::signalVSync(). As a result (?) functions void TouchGFXHAL::flushFrameBuffer(const touchgfx::Rect& rect) and Screen1View::setupScreen() are never called.I'm using the latest software (TouchGFX 4.16.1, latest HAL/CMSIS etc).Is this a bug or am I missing an important detail?
Hi,I have started using touchgfx recently and am having trouble accessing examples. When I open the designer I am able to see my applications and online applications, but I cannot access the example UI's nor can I access any online applications.I get a red cloud logo next to "Create New Application" that pops up telling me the package server cannot be reached and that no online packages can be found. I get this in both 4.10 and 4.12.3. I am having our IT department look into this to make sure its not something on our end but is there any other reason this could be happening?-Thank you.

Hello everyone,Since about yesterday afternoon, I cannot see any application template and UI template (except for simulator on PC) when I want to create a new application on TouchGFX. A red icon has appeared next to "Create new application" that says: Package server at http://packages.touchgfx.com/V2/packages.json.zip can not be reached. No online package can be found. You can continue working but only already installed packages are availabe. The remote server returned an error: (403) ForbiddenIs this happened to anyone else ? If so, how can I fix this issue ?Thanks in advanceTristan
Good morning.I am using the STM32446E-EVA board.I want to read data about video from CAMERA through serialI am not sure where it is because it is the DMA part.In order to read CAMERA data, which function part can we know by reading the value in part???It seems to be of great help.Thank you.
I use FMC for both H745ZI and F427ZI. I already configured all cores to run at the same clock (168Mhz), but write buffer to F4 seen faster than in H7.Anyone can help me solve this issue? I have included clip at: https://drive.google.com/file/d/15hbrxfL3tDqDHbCWVZ2VlnNXuitq1lUi/view
Hello,We are struggling to implement the 1k boundary when reading/writing to a frame buffer i.e. to avoid read operation being split into single accessesHow to do this is described in the application note here:https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/dm00287603-lcdtft-display-controller-ltdc-on-stm32-mcus-stmicroelectronics.pdfOn page 51, it shows how to set the "HAL_LTDC_SetPitch"We have tried every possible combination of numbers for this. The application either draws incorrectly when we follow the application note. Or when it looks exactly the same as it does without using "HAL_LTDC_SetPitch", then there is absolutely no performance improvementWe are using:16 bpp480 height800 widthWe use an SDRAM of size 16 MB. We use 3 frame buffers. Each frame buffer has a dedicated 4MB bank of the SDRAM, so that only the frame buffer is there.When we set this "HAL_LTDC_SetPitch" as HAL_LTDC_SetPitch(&h, 800, 0) then it works the exact same as before setting pitch. HAL_LTDC_SetPitch(&am
Hello,We need to add "placeholder" data points. Such that we can have a line in the Graph (for example current sensor data). We read the data every 1 second. And if the sensor gets disconnected, then we want to just not draw anything for that time data point.We have managed to hack this functionality into the Dynamic Graph by saying "make the lineWidth = 0, to make it invisible" inside of GraphElements.cpp GraphElementLine::drawIndexRange(). If we want the data point or data points to be "invisible", then we change the lineWidth they are drawn as to achieve our resultHowever, we have a problem. The line endings look like a Tetris block. We have played around with this and figured out that it is not due to the lineWidth changing from 0 to 2, and then 2 to 0 again. But instead this is simply how the Lines are rendered by the Canvas class.Can you please help us in either fixing the endings of these lines, so that they are flat (as when the first data point is drawn inside of GraphScroll).
Hi Folks,I am trying to explore the USB Host feature for STM32 can offer, I am using STM32F769I-Discovery kit for prototyping. I was trying to find any template for reference on TouchGFX Designer default templates but could not find.Can someone help me please? If this request is too general, I am thinking to start by an application in which the device can detect when an USB flash drive plug in and then I can write and read data to the USB flash drive.
cubeMX version:6.2.1, STM32L4R9ZIT can select RGB interface,but STM32L4RVGT cann't
So according to this https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/basic-concepts/framebuffer#colors the TouchGFX can only support 16, 24 or 32 bpp color depth (apart from grayscale). But in here https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/basic-concepts/color-formats#color-depth it says that it actually support 6 bpp colors depth.So can TouchGFX actually support color depth lower than 16 bpp color depth (not grayscale) ? Does it support 8 bpp or 6 bpp? For 6 bpp, why I cannot see this option available on TouchGFX Designer option (see snippet below)Also, in TouchGFX 'COLOR DEPTH; options, it list as well 1, 2, 4, and 8 bit depth, do they refer to grayscale color or the colors?
(sorry for my bad English)Hi, My project is base on STM32F469 ,LCD use DSI video mode.Now I can show pixels in TouchGFX box , but can not show images.Touchgfx project with images:display like this:touchgfx project with image&pixel:display like this:the Images in touchgfx is seted as RGB565.LCD controller is seted in RGB565 mode.And DSI,LTDC,LTDC layer,DMA2D both are in RGB565.Why do I have this effect?How can I fix it?Thanks.
TouchGFX Designer version: 4.13.0I follow my customer's coordinate to design the UI, and UI in the Touchgfx Design canvas looks the same as the image in Zeplin. but if I run the simulator, the text vertical location is lower.As image below, the text vertical locations are different between canvas and simulator. When I download the code to my custom PCBA, the text vertical location on display is the same as the simulator, instead of canvas. I also try the sample code which is shown below. The vertical location is still lower. Is there any way to make them the same?

HiI want to change the screen to another, but not with the button, but with the main.c command. how to do it?Andrzej
Hello,I am using STM32F469I-DISC0 board to test TouchGFX demonstration examples with Keil MDK.I have downloaded STM32Cube_FW_F4_V1.26.0 SDK, and I am trying to get running the project at path:..\STM32Cube_FW_F4_V1.26.0\Projects\STM32469I-Discovery\Demonstrations\TouchGFX\MDK-ARM\touchgfx_demo2015_800x480.uvprojxThe project compiles without a problem, but when trying to download it to the board, the output console print errors related to the flashing algorithm:No Algorithm found for: 90000000H - 9000FFFFHNo Algorithm found for: 90010000H - 9001FFFFHNo Algorithm found for: 90020000H - 9002FFFFHNo Algorithm found for: 90030000H - 9003FFFFHNo Algorithm found for: 90040000H - 9004FFFFH........No Algorithm found for: 907F0000H - 907FFFFFHNo Algorithm found for: 90800000H - 9080FFFFHNo Algorithm found for: 90810000H - 9081FFFFHNo Algorithm found for: 90820000H - 9082FFFFHNo Algorithm found for: 90830000H - 9083569FHI understand that this is because some parts of the code (which contains Touch
I am a newbe and have little software experience; I use TouchGFX for UI simulation. I use Keil as IDE . I created interactions with flexbuttons and all work in simulation however on target only partly working. Also when I clean up my design (deleting pictures) Simulation still works, also code generation but compilation gives errors.
Dear Sir,We have STM32F746 Discovery Kit.We are trying to study STM32 with given example for STM32F746 Discovery Kit.We run the TouchGFX application on this board.We observed that TFT screen displayed on TFT are wrong.I attached screen and photos for your referance.Requested you to do needful to solve the issue.Thanks & RegardsPravin Raut
So I browse around the generated code from TouchGFX Designer template, I can find where the frame buffer address is defined, however I could not find the size of it, can someone give me some pointer please?void TouchGFXGeneratedHAL::initialize() { HAL::initialize(); registerEventListener(*(Application::getInstance())); setFrameBufferStartAddresses((void*)0xC0000000, (void*)0, (void*)0); /* * Set whether the DMA transfers are locked to the TFT update cycle. If * locked, DMA transfer will not begin until the TFT controller has finished * updating the display. If not locked, DMA transfers will begin as soon as * possible. Default is true (DMA is locked with TFT). */ lockDMAToFrontPorch(true); } I want to verify that my buffer size is indeed according to stated in this docshttps://support.touchgfx.com/docs/basic-concepts/framebuffer/#amount-of-framebuffersMy intention was to verify that the buffer size should be reduced if I reduced my color depth.
So I bought STM32769 Discovery Kit and choose the TouchGFX Designer template accordingly and the default color depth is 16 bpp. So far so good, but then I want to examine the feasibility if I choose 8 bpp on this MCU, however the TouchGFX Designer under Config->Display->Color Depth does not allow me to choose other color depth. It seems the only way I can choose other color depth is by not choosing any template, but then I have to create manually the hardware init setting?Anyone could please help me?
