I have generated the Touch GFX code by selecting STM32F769NI Discovery kit. But there is no option to select and generate the code for STM32F769AI. I want to port the NI code to AI code. How to do it for custom controllers (Which are not listed in Touch GFX Tool)?Touch GFX generates the Board Specific code. But I want to generate controller specific code. How to generate it?
I am using the STM32F411CE to interface with a 16x2 LCD. I wrote a program to initialize the LCD but it hasn't been working. When I attached my logic analyzer to the pins I discovered some odd behavior that I cannot figure out. The program starts to work as expected but then all my data pins go high and enable is triggered. Then all the data pins stay high for around 500ms and then the program runs as expected after that. The odd part is when I place a breakpoint on my Initialization function and then press continue, the program runs without that bug. Below I have my code and pictures of my logic analyzer results./* USER CODE BEGIN Header */ /** ****************************************************************************** * @file : main.c * @brief : Main program body ****************************************************************************** * @attention * * <h2><center>&copy; Copyright (c) 2021 STMicroelectronics. * All rights reserved.</center></h

I installed the Google Roboto font family in Windows 10 and the fonts all show up in Word, Open Office, and other text-based apps. However, I can't seem to get them to show in TouchGFX, despite reboot, restart, etc. All other Windows fonts show in TouchGFX selection typography. Also placed the license.txt file in assets/fonts with no luck.Am I missing some step?
This is using the basic keyboard example project, and I am trying to make the keyboard larger. So I have gone in and changed all of the values in keyArray in KeyboardLayout.hpp, as well as change the keyboard.setPosition call to have the the appropriate arguments in MainView.cpp. However the size seems to be hardcoded somewhere to the original 320x240, and I just can't find where that is to change it. I added an image with the original background just to show how the size is being limited by the dimensions of the original.
Hi guys,I use STM32F429+stemwin GUI. I have many image to show on display. Due to space limitation, I try to declare image to allocate memory space in SDRAM as following line:unsigned char _acMY_LOGO[]__attribute__((at(SDRAM_BANK_ADDR + IMAGE1_ADDR))) = { .......the program is complied without error but when I program it, the compiler show the following warning:No Algorithm found for: D0408000H - D040FFFFHNo Algorithm found for: D0410000H - D0416AFFHPartial Programming Done (areas with no algorithms skipped!)it seem the complier cannot write on SDRAM address. my complier is keil. I'm pleased if you help me "How to declare image to allocate memory space in SDRAM?"
Hello,I am working on a project with stm32f769i-eval and touch gfx designer(4.13.0) .I select my board as application template then I try both using a blank template or any of the examples that are provided. After generating the code, I try to run the project on my target and even though it doesn't fail my screen is not displaying anything. (If I run on the simulator it works perfectly). What should I do?Thx,Irene
Our designer can't access TouchGFX Designer directly for font selection. So we need a list of all fonts which are in TouchGFX designer by default to provide him for selection.Unfortunately I did not find such a list online (e.g. on Texts and Fonts | TouchGFX Documentation)Can anyone provide a complete list or tell me where to find the font files in TouchGFX Designer?

I created a project in STM32cubeIde to which I connected a graphic but when I generate in code in TouchGFXDesigner 4.17.0 I fail returning this error how can I solve itGenerate Code Generate Done Generate Assets make -f simulator/gcc/Makefile assets -j8 Reading ./application.config cannot load such file -- lib/emitters/text_keys_and_languages_hpp an error occurred in converting texts: cannot load such file -- lib/emitters/text_keys_and_languages_hpp Cleaning generated files from generated/texts and generated/fonts. make[1]: *** [texts] Error 1 generated/simulator/gcc/Makefile:219: recipe for target 'texts' failed make: *** [assets] Error 2 simulator/gcc/Makefile:32: recipe for target 'assets' failed Failed Failed
I have a project created with STM32CubeIde 1.7.1 in which through the configuration of the.ioc file I initialized a TFT screen. I followed a tutorial to make the correct configurations : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRQD8JMeg_k but at the time of generating the code I generate the file.part but it gives me error at the time I click it to open gfxdesigner 4.17 the error is this. Also if I try to compile the project in STM32CubeIde does not solve the inclusions of the libraries and if I import them manually then does not find the files.cpp and I do not know where to insert them.
Hello, Is there can do processor load display without operating system ?
hello.touchGFX in the project I set is not going to tick. it is going to :touchgfx::HAL::taskEntry() , OSWrappers::waitForVSyncI need it to go to :touchgfx::HAL::taskEntry() , touchgfx::HAL::tick() , FrontEndApplication:handleTickEvent(), Model:tick()this scenario I have in another project and in the other project touchGFX is OK with tick.how can I change the taskEntry. I have no source code for this.thanks.
I have the following two codes that does the same thing,application().switchScreen(new Screen3View());static_cast<FrontendApplication*>(Application::getInstance())->gotoBrightnessScreenNoTransition();But, the second one took more work since I need to set it up in the FrontendApplication.cpp, but I was wondering is there a difference between these two calls (beside one allows you to edit the transition)?
I have a board with HDC1080 Temp/Humidity sensor which has I2C. Following is the Digi-Key part number for 1286-1153-ND. I have this board working with both the Discovery cards. I can display temperature and humidity on the Tera-Term using serial port of Discovery Boards.ThanksKiran
I have used last released TouchGFX 4.18 to add one .avi video from TouchGFX sample videos to my project but this project does not get compiled in STM32CubeIDE no way and it gives me an error that is listed below:c:\st\stm32cubeide_1.7.0\stm32cubeide\plugins\com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.9-2020-q2-update.win32_2.0.0.202105311346\tools\arm-none-eabi\bin\ld.exe: ./VideoWidget.o: in function `touchgfx::VideoWidget::~VideoWidget()': C:/TouchGFXProjects/MyApplication_5/Middlewares/ST/touchgfx/framework/source/touchgfx/widgets/VideoWidget.cpp:32: undefined reference to `touchgfx::VideoController::getInstance()' c:\st\stm32cubeide_1.7.0\stm32cubeide\plugins\com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.9-2020-q2-update.win32_2.0.0.202105311346\tools\arm-none-eabi\bin\ld.exe: ./VideoWidget.o: in function `touchgfx::VideoWidget::handleTickEvent()': C:/TouchGFXProjects/MyApplication_5/Middlewares/ST/touchgfx/framework/source/touchgfx/widgets/VideoWidget.c

Hello, I wanted to try how would TouchGFX look like in one cool application - an Oscilloscope. I checked out the Graph widget and thought to myself, I could use it for that purpose. So, I set up everything like it was explained here, and I put the ADC in the interrupt mode. I saw that the only function to insert the data points into the graph is addDataPoint(). It did work, however, I was only able to insert one point at the time. The line slowly scrolls across the graph, and it takes some time to fill it from one end to the other. Not really the actual "oscilloscope" experience, I was going for. So I'd like to ask:a) is there a way to speed up the data feed onto the graph?b) is there a way to flush multiple data points at once, such it might be the array of ADC values?Best regards,PKEDIT: I played with the simulator and found out that I can just add all the points in a for loop within the handleTickEvent() event, and the simulation sounds very promising. This might be what I'm looking
Hi, I want to reverse play a video. Is it possible?
In our GUI we need to trigger a visible change when a physical button is pressed and another change when it is released. When using real hardware I can supply separate key codes for key pressed and released events from the ButtonController class, but i cannot find any way to do this in the simulator.
I have STM32H7A3ZIQ Nucleo board and 5" Startek LCD KD050FWFPA011. I'd like to use CubeIDE to create code to copy an image from H7A's flash memory to the LCD using LTDC. I did get STM32H7A3ZIQ Nucleo to work with a 2" LCD using 4-wire SPI interface. The problem I have with 5" LCD is the LTDC interface. Attached is IOC file, CubeIDE code, init code from Startek, scope captures, etc.... Please help.I got black screen. Backlight is on. IDE reports the image (Mushroom480x800) is defined but not used. Scope captures show 0x00 on pin LTDC_R4. LTDC_CLK is 24MHz, correct as designed. What do I miss?
How do I access image resources and change a control's background image? For example, I have a gauge with a style 0 (BITMAP_BLUE_GAUGES_ORIGINAL_GAUGE_BACKGROUND_STYLE_00_ID according to the generated code) and I want the background to change to style 1 (BITMAP_BLUE_GAUGES_ORIGINAL_GAUGE_BACKGROUND_STYLE_01_ID) on a tap of a button.I current have the button perform the following void Screen1View::SetGaugeStyle(touchgfx::Bitmap s) { gauge1.setBackground(s); gauge1.invalidate(); }where s is touchgfx::Bitmap(BITMAP_BLUE_GAUGES_ORIGINAL_GAUGE_BACKGROUND_STYLE_00_ID);(for testing purposes) which is the default image, but when I run the simulator, the gauge image (or rather background) is empty and gone. What am I doing wrong? Also, how do I access other image resources programmatically?
