Hi,I'm trying to find the .hex demonstration file for the STM32F429 Discovery Kit. I searched the STM32F429 Discovery page which directed me to the STM32CubeF4 MCU package examples. I have looked in the STM32CubeF4 MCU package in directory /Projects/STM32F429I-Discovery/Demonstrations/STemWin/Binary but readme.txt file then re-directs me back to the STM32F429 Discovery page where I started. Any assistance would be very much appreciated.
I am trying to create a busy circle (such as the one that shows up when a web page is loading). Instead of circle I would like to use a custom image. I used TextureMapper for this. But I don't get continuous and smooth rotation of image. Image makes one rotation, slows down and stops and then restarts. I am attaching the sample project I was using. Also, image appearance distorts as it makes the rotation. Please advice.Also, please advice if there is a different way to do this.

Hi Community,I have connected SPI Display-ILI9341 to STM32F769NI board and succeeded in the displaying the different sized images. Used Touch GFX through STM32CubeIDE. (Enabled Touch GFX in STM32CubeIDE). Now I wanted to play the videos on the SPI Display-ILI9341. I enabled the video widget. but not getting the results.I have completed following steps and played the video on STM32F769I Board with DSI . But I wanted to play the video on SPI Display-ILI9341. So, I tried and no results.1- Download this free mp4 video from this link:https://www.videezy.com/abstract/44249-particle-strings-background-video2- Convert the video in MJPEG format:2.1 Rename the video "01__2822_29.mp4" to "test.mp4"2.2 Apply this command to the downloaded video: ffmpeg -i test.mp4 -s 480x272 -vcodec mjpeg –q:a 1 -an output.avi3- Put the generated video "output.avi" in the path: <YourProject>\TouchGFX\assets\videos4-&nbs
Hi,I am working on a project, where I need to interface STM Nucleo board with Pixy Camera. I have completed the programming part but now I need to design a PCB design of this camera module, which should be Nucleo compatible. Something like this: https://www.pcbway.com/project/shareproject/This_is_an_adapter_for_STM32_NUCLEO_F767ZI_and_camera_ov2640_.htmlI am not using Pixy 2 Camera, you can find it here at top: https://pixycam.com/products/Moreover, I need to add the motor circuit as motors will move on detection of object. So, can someone please provide me some basic PCB design, which I could modify according to my needs.Thanks.
Hello everyone. Can somebody please share the driver libraries for TFT color SPI serial interface LCD display module (driver ILI9341) for interfacing it with Nucleo-64 board? Thanks
Hi Community,I am using video widget to play the sample videos provided in demo (STM32F769I). But i wanted to play custom videos. Run Target is is also 100% completed but video is not updated on the display. Anyone knows how to play custom videos using Video Widget.Touch GFX Version : 4.19.1.Video Format: MJPEG videos in AVI format.
As described on page [support.touchgfx.com/4.19/docs/development/ui-development/working-with-touchgfx/using-ides-with-touchgfx], building a TouchGFX project requires the compiler switch -fno-exceptions. The GCC options in the Makefile contain the switch.I tried to change the switch to -fexceptions, and I could build and run my project (on an STM32H750B), which explicitly uses exception handling. All exceptions that will be thrown will be caught inside the application logic. All exceptions are intended to never reach the TouchGFX routines. My question is now: What can go wrong?Thank you in advance!
We are trying to integrate Nucleo-H743ZI2 EVAL Board with Touch GFX. Is it possible to interface?If not please suggest available GUI tools for Nucleo-H743ZI2 Board.Thanks in advance.
I've been having an odd issue where if I add any widgets into a custom container the i2c ADC devices stop responding. I've isolated it to the point where I can just add any default widget into the container and then run target in the designer to see the issue. Once I go back and delete that widget all functions resume working.When I go to debug the issue in cubeide the issue is not reproducible. The code compiled within the IDE works as intended with or without the added widgets.
I have some experience with Arduino and RPI, but completely new to ST and the eclipse IDE so please bear with me as I'm trying to learn as I go, but nothing seems straight forward in ST land, not even hello world.I'm using STM32CUBEIDE and have configured the pins as per UM2750, shown in the image below, all seemed good. I incorporated the X-Cube-Display software pack and configured that also, following UM2787. I built the project with no errors and no warnings, this is a good sign, I know at least this much. I run the software in the IDE and I can see that ST-link is working as the LED flashes showing that the software is being downloaded to the F446.But then nothing, the LCD back light comes on, but nothing is displayed. I was kind of expecting "Hello World" to be displayed as a minimum. (Unless it's buried in the bowels of the tangled web of ST documentation-land, I can find no description of what "Hello World" in this software pack is meant to do, if anything) In the second im

Hi,This error was raised using Touchgfx 4.19.1, CubeMX 6.5. Nothing interesting in the project, just the default settings of Nucleo f446re, adding gfx software pack and adding a clock in the designer -> generate code and compile in CubeIDE and again in uVision. Same error and I cannot find this file searching the file explorer ! Your help is much appreciated.
The issue:The directory structure generated by TouchGFX for 2 core STM32H747 is just very complicated.By complicated I mean it's not only difficult to navigate for me as a user, but also for IDEs like STM32CubeIDE, VSCode and its various C++ plugins.Let me explain:Let's say we have a Startup Screen.The view source file is located in gui/src/startup_screen/StartupView.cpp file.The view header file is located in gui/include/gui/startup_screen/StartupView.hpp file.(The gui directory is located in /CM7/TouchGFX, but that's fine.)I configured VSCode to see the includes properly and even installed an extension that understands that convoluted folder structure and it's capable of quickly switch between headers and source. However - implementing functions extension can't do the trick, it still can't find the source.I can manually move the source and header files to whatever location I like and it will compile, however, the TouchGFX will stop cooperating with such modified project ;)What I'm lo
helloI inquire about TouchGFX Compile error.To call a specific function by including discovery.h in Model.cpp A compile error occurs.However, in CubeIDE, it compiles normally and runs well.I want to know why a compile error occurs in TouchGFX and a normal compile in CubeIDE.1.The development environment is as followsSTM32H725g-dk CubleIDE 1.9.0TouchGFX 4.19.12. The source of model.cpp is as follows.===================================================================#ifndef SIMULATORextern "C" {#include "stm32H7xx.h"#include "stm32h735g_discovery.h"}#endifvoid Model::tick(){#ifndef SIMULATOR int button_sample = BSP_PB_GetState(BUTTONn); //BUTTONn // BUTTON_USER if (button_sample != 0x000F) { if( buttonState != button_sample ) { modelListener->PUI_data(button_sample); buttonState = button_sample; } } els
Hi,I know there are plenty of similar topics on here but most are unresolved and when they are resolved the OP never posts about it.So I am creating code through STM32CubeIDE for DCMI with DMA (with help from here).I'm using the NUCLEO board.The OV7670 is properly connected to the controller and is outputting correct HREF, VSYNC and PCLK signals for QVGA and RG565. I've previously used this camera without DCMI and a different controller successfully so I am familiar with its signals.D0-D7 are checked with an oscilloscope and are outputting data.HAL_DCMI_Start_DMA returns no errors and the DMA1_Stream0_IRQHandler is firing regularly.Whenever I disconnect either of the signal pins, HAL_DCMI_Start_DMA returns error.The problem is that my buffer is never written and keeps the value 0 at all times.int main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ /* USER CODE END 1 */ /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/ /* Reset of all peripherals,
Hello I am using STM32F746 Discovery board and trying to develop customized UI by using the STM32CubeF7 software by stm. The problem I am facing is i could not able to add key board to my UI as there is neither keyboard widget in the gui builder nor the library for the keyboard in the STemwin544.Please help me out in this.
Hi,I'm looking at how compiling TouchGFX applications work, and it appears that you have to compile the TouchGFX project and then flash the board with the application.https://support.touchgfx.com/4.19/docs/development/ui-development/working-with-touchgfx/compiling-and-flashingI'm trying to figure out if its possible to hot-load applications onto a device like an app store, and install new widgets without having to re-flash the entire image.Thanks!
I used H7320IB to driver a 480*854 LCD with RGB565 interface, but the display size is 480*800 only.
I'd like to have a list of buttons that's scrollable, the number of buttons in the list can be changed at run time (it's essentially a list of errors, so errors may become active and inactive at any time), and I'd like to have the button height be variable depending on how long the text is in the button. I've attached a crude mockup. I've searched these forums and couldn't find any questions dealing with the button size being variable. I followed Tutorial 4: Creating a Scroll Wheel with Custom Behavior, but I'm not sure how or if it's possible to change the size of a particular instance of a custom container on the fly.I've also explored using a scrollable container widget instead of the scroll list. I would use button widgets and write the code to place and size the buttons within the scrollable container according to how many buttons I need and how large they need to be. Is this a better approach? I'm not sure if I could create buttons on the fly.Thank you!
Hi , Please help me! How can I to scroll in design time in a scrollable container? I want to create an interface, what is have more info than can fit on the screen. That’s why I want to scroll , because that's it very complicated to do the design. Is this possible at all?Thanks !
