I'd like to generate an image that surrounds the simulator window. I've seen it done in a Tutorial (which I now can not find) so I know it can be done. The image I use always seems offset and doesn't align. I've looked in the documentation, but find nothing. What are the requirements for an image to be used in the simulator?
Hi.I want to show battery image in screen of STM32F746_DISCOVERY and change battery image by UART value that stm receives from an atmega. I have 4 images to show battery level and they must replace by each other according to Uart data values.I read "Loading Images at Runtime" in support.touchgfx.com but it confused me and I don't understand how to do it. please help me.
Is it possible to use the b-cams-omv with the STM32F746G-Disco ? I suppose I could get the ov5640.c and ov5640_reg.c files from another project but then I need the BSP/STM32746G_DISCOVERY/stm32746g_discovery_camera.c to be updated accordingly right ? How can I do it easily ? Best regards
Hello all,I'm trying to use STM32 bluepill with OLED SSD1306 128x32 to display characters.I've tried many many libraries but no luck. The screen remains blank. No response. But the same screen works with arduino. So i know connections are fine, only problem with coding. Here are the libraries that I've triedhttps://github.com/vookimedlo/stm32-ssd1306https://github.com/GolinskiyKonstantin/STM32_Lib_OLED_SSD1306_I2C_SPIhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ruDyTsmVls4https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mt6U30Yxrr8I've also tried changing the address from 0x78 to 0x77 and 0x3C but no luck.I do not get error in any of them but the screen remains blank. Please someone help.
Hi all,Stillkind of new here.I’m trying to display a string on a screen, just a basic hello world or any otherstring, just by using the CubeIDE without having to go through TouchGFX.I have found some code to display pictures, but {I am not sure how to proceedwith displaying text.Is there any existing library or code example I could use?Thanksin advance
Hi,every time I press 'Run Simulator', the build system checks all targets if update is needed. This takes often up to 10s.Is there any way to run immediately simulator.exe ?Thanks
When the number of defined custom container increases the flat menu is dificult to navigate and I find myself looking around to find my container. Can the container be organized in folders? With the images it is "possible" to have some order with the folder. Is the same achiveable with the containers?
I just updated TouchGFX designer from version 4.2.0 to 4.21.0. Trying to open my projects saved last time with version 4.2.0, I'm obliged to update them to the new version. After this, they are all corrupted.
I'm faced with problem when I add elements to list. For better understanding I explain what I want to do. So here when I click add new elements I go to other screen where config pinout. And when I click save it stores names like "VM1", "Main module" in array there is placed in model.hpp. In list layout I can create 5 elements. When I add more than 3 elements to the list my names somehow which I store in array disappear and random values which is in my project enrollsWhat can cause this problem?
hi,I'm trying to add a cutom header in a touchgfx project. this works in the cube ide, but not in the simulator. The header file only contains structure definitions. Get this error message:
Hello everyone,I am designing a datalogger with a touch screen and I am undecided in the selection of the method to control the screen, do you suggest me to use a screen controller with a microcontroller of the STM32Lx family series or some STM32 microcontroller that has the screen driver built-in? What could you suggest me for this project? I would like the equipment to work with a 3.7v battery and use an RTOS to manage all the firmware. I almost forgot, the screen that I will use will be of the capacitive typeThanks for the help
Hello,I'm working on a STM32F769I-Eval demoboard.I have a FreeRTOS and FreeRTOS-Plus-TCP running on it. I can ping the board with a 100% succes. When I start a basic TouchGFX 4.21 Application, even without any refresh, the Ping response fall to 30%.As the TouchGFX as no animation, the refresh rate is not so important. How can I reduce it to avoid the TCP task miss some ping packet?Or is there any other possibility to reduce MCU consumption by TouchGFX?Thank youAntoine
I created a MDK-ARM project in CubeMXwith touchgfx custom target, BW display 128x64I generate the sources via cube mx adn the touchgfx DesignerI try to compile and getTouchGFX\target\generated\TouchGFXConfiguration.cpp(32): error: #20: identifier "LCD1bpp" is undefinedIt looks like the Middlewares\ST\touchgfx\framework\include\platform\driver\lcd\LCD1bpp.h is not included.Had anyone this problem before?
I try to implement a multilevel menusystem with one scrollwheel-widget and pysical buttons.I added a scrollwheel with 10 items(even if my menu has not 10 items in every level of hierachy) and want to manage the items on my own, as i want to use this scrollwheel to show every level of my menusystemroot A A0 A1 B B0 B1 C C0 C1But i'm having some troubles with foring the correct redraw of the scrollwheel.I overloaded void MenuLevel1View::scrollWheel1UpdateItem(menuItemNormal& item, int16_t itemIndex) void MenuLevel1View::scrollWheel1UpdateCenterItem(menuItemSelected& item, int16_t itemIndex) I can navigate trough my root menu level and the overloaded update functions are called and i see ABC in a list as expected. When i want to switch to another menulevel i call a function to set the root of my scroolwheel to the new tree-node to show all it's leafes (set to C should show C0 and C1)When i have selected "C" the itemindex of the scrollwheel is 2I
I got the STM32H747I-DISCO Discovery kit, and I made screen with just two buttons. On the gfx simulator, everything is fine, but as you can see on attached picture, on the real LCD I see so many error pixels both around the buttons, and diagonally. I suspect it is in the setting of the LCD in the Cube ide. The datasheet for the LCD lacks HW details(Horizontal/Vertical Front/Back Porch, VSync/HSync Width etc.), so I am using the defaults. It also maybe the LCD clock. It is set now at 38MHz. Not sure what is the correct clk setting. If anyone have any idea, please let me know.PS: I am using Touchgfx 4.19.0, and Cube ide 1.9.0Thanks.
Hello,I would like to replace LCD Screen on the STM32L4R9I-Disco MB1314C board with another one.As explain in board datasheet (UM2271) the display screen (reference IEG1120TB103GF-001) from Govisionox Optoelectronics use a molex connector 504248-2410.The mating connector specified in both LCD datasheet and STM32L4R9I-Disco Bill Of Materials is 504208-2410(Molex)I purchased the following 400x400 LCD Round screen which have the same Molex connector (has specified in datasheet) but in fact this one does not fit in MB1314C board. To validate that the error does not came from the new screen datasheet i purchased some Molex 504208-2410 connector from Mouser. These connector fit with the 400x400 LCD Round screen. I can confirm that both LCD datasheet and STM32L4R9I-Disco Bill Of Materials is wrong about this connector but i need to know which reference has been used for connector CN2 on MB1314C by STMicroelectronics to be able to adapt my other screen to the discovery board.ThanksSimon400*400
I currently have a display that works with ST7789 controller and a Nucleo board, L4476RG. Unfortunately, I cannot find anything about interfacing SPI with TouchGFX, except for some very generic descriptions. What are the steps you would recommend to follow? So far, I have enabled SPI and the software pack in CUBEMX - single buffer, no need for partial; I have generated code in TouchGFX design for a blank screen; my main is basically nothing, only the st7789_init(), everything else is self-generated. With this, I could not get anything on my screen. Thank you!
Guys, we're looking for beta testers for a new technology which aims to speed up embedded GUI prototyping with TouchGFX. In this video you can check how it works https://youtu.be/DncrO_7gQDgFor those who want to be one of the beta testers, please click in this link https://www.knowcode.app/ and go to "Request Early Access"
I am trying to set the partial buffer but all I can get are these errors: How can I fix it?
I am trying to update from 4.18 to 4.21 to use the new features of the 4.21 release. I find myself unable to use the 4.21 touchgfx designer due to infinte high RAM usage. With 4.18 touchgfx my project uses around 700MB and raises to 900MB when switching trought the screens. With 4.21, toucghfx my project uses around 1GB and raises around +1GB everytime I switch between the screens. This means that after switching a couple times of selected screen it is already using +7GB of RAM. The RAM usage keeps increasing until it crashes.Has anyone experienced this behaviour?I am using a STM32F7676
Hi,In vesion 4.21.0/1 I noticed this inconsistency:When creating a 'screen', (0,0) position of screen and container are at the same position However, in 'custom container', screen and container are missplaced - as if container was expecting screen in portrait orientation but the project is set to landscape. Thanks
Hi,When exporting a container and interaction executes a code add also 'includes' field so the exported code compilesThanksFerro
Is it possible to replace the current version of STemwWin library and date files with the newer releases of emWin?Also, is it possible to work with Appwizard with the current version of STemWin? because I do not see its files are included? and If yes, how to include it?
I am working with ST32F469 Disco and I am using FreeRTOS and emWin library. When I am calling Gui_Init() before starting FreeRTOS kernel, my application works fine with no problems. When I move Gui_Init() To the task which is used for emWin scheduled before While(1), I always had a hard fault error. If I only moved the function before the schedule again it works fine. I had only one task which calls the Gui_Exec(). It seems it is a problem with the FreeRTOS configurations but I am not able to catch it.Anysupport about this issue?
