Hi,I would like to inquire whether it is possible to perform internal I2C and SPI loopback tests on the STM32F767ZI board.Regards,Mounika

Hallo, when i will generate code. The message in a message box is: Error downloading the following files:stm32cube_fw_IO_v1122.zip (Not available)For unaavailable files, you can load them manually with the 'From Local' button.  My problem is i can't found the  'From Local' button oran alternative way to download the file.  Best regards

Hey,I recently bought ST25-TAG-BAG-UI1 and hoped I could experiment with it for a specific application but I soon realized there is no documentation available publicly. I've applied for access to AN5580 but my application got rejected (I guess because I don't have a website yet and my production forecast is low). How can I evaluate the digital signature functionally of ST25-TAG-BAG-UI1 evaluation board if you are not providing any documentation on commands for it? Is there any other document that would help me to test this?

When I generate code for the MPU region 0 wit HAL I get:void MPU_Config(void) { MPU_Region_InitTypeDef MPU_InitStruct = {0}; MPU_Attributes_InitTypeDef MPU_AttributesInit = {0}; /* Disables the MPU */ HAL_MPU_Disable(); /** Initializes and configures the Region and the memory to be protected */ MPU_InitStruct.Enable = MPU_REGION_ENABLE; MPU_InitStruct.Number = MPU_REGION_NUMBER0; MPU_InitStruct.BaseAddress = 0x08fff800; MPU_InitStruct.LimitAddress = 0x08fff900; MPU_InitStruct.AttributesIndex = MPU_ATTRIBUTES_NUMBER0; MPU_InitStruct.AccessPermission = MPU_REGION_ALL_RO; MPU_InitStruct.DisableExec = MPU_INSTRUCTION_ACCESS_DISABLE; MPU_InitStruct.IsShareable = MPU_ACCESS_OUTER_SHAREABLE; HAL_MPU_ConfigRegion(&MPU_InitStruct); MPU_AttributesInit.Number = MPU_REGION_NUMBER0; MPU_AttributesInit.Attributes = MPU_DEVICE_nGnRnE | MPU_WRITE_THROUGH | MPU_TRANSIENT | MPU_NO_ALLOCATE; HAL_MPU_ConfigMemoryAttributes(&MPU_AttributesInit); /* Enables the MPU */ HAL_MP

How in the world of programming is this possible? I got enough other problems to fix already. It worked flawless before! ld.exe: G431RBT6_Bootloader.elf section `.text' will not fit in region `FLASH'ld.exe: section .applicationBlock LMA [000000000801f800,000000000801fa7b] overlaps section .text LMA [00000000080001e0,0000000008026e33]ld.exe: region `FLASH' overflowed by 4294965884 bytes

Hello all, I'm learning about Nucleo F746ZGT6 . and also I'm doing some projects related to this board. I want to ask how much digital voltage & Current at the one pin of Nucleo F746zgt6.

HI,I am working on a custom STM32MP151AAC3 board, and working on OpenSTLinux 4.10 distribution package. Now I can connect to the board through UART4(PB2 and PG11) by STM32CubeProgrammer, and I want to tune the DDR3 to verify the design. I need the u-boot-spl.stm32 binary file.Firstly, I create a custom layers for the custom board following the instruction from https://wiki.stmicroelectronics.cn/stm32mpu-ecosystem-v4/wiki/How_to_compile_the_device_tree_with_the_Distribution_Package , and I can built the system image successfully. But I cannot find u-boot-spl.stm32 or u-boot.stm32 in the **/deploy/images/customboard/u-boot directory. Then I find a wiki page said that “The ouput file u-boot.stm32' is only generated for stm32mp15_trusted_defconfig with CONFIG_STM32MP15x_STM32IMAGE; it is not more used for ecosystem release ≥ v4.0.0”. So, I adjust the machine.conf and append "UBOOT_CONFIG[trusted] = "stm32mp15_trusted_defconfig,,u-boot.dtb", still cannot get the u-boot stm32image.I have attac

Hi, i came across a program to config alternation function for SPI GPIO port A.  GPIOA->CRL |= (11U<<20);       // PA5 SCK AF output push pull GPIOA->CRL |= (11U<<28);       // PA7 MOSI AF output push pull What does the 11U means? i know its something like setting the 20th bit to 11? is 11 the binary value for 3? how does the value 3 relates to PA5 SCK and 28 relates to PA7 MOSI ?  Anyone can advise?

Hello,     I have applied for the ASM330LHBxx ASIL B library from ST's web, and integrated it to my program, all the functions worked fine. But the noise of GYRO has gone beyond our requirement, we used to enable the LPF in ASM330 to lower the noise.     We have checked the integration manual of AB lib, it doesn't provide a function to set and enable the LPF filter, and it forbids users to set ASM330 without using AB lib(according to the Introduction sector in the manual). Is there any method to set and enable the LPF function even though using AB lib?

I have a project ,  used regular conversion ADC1 Vrefint Channel and Temperature Channel, and used injected conversion ADC2 extern Channel(ext.CH1 and CH2).ADC2 CH2 connect 2000mV voltage , CH1 is changed. If CH1 over 3.6V,the CH2 conversion is error.I tryed more channel , it all error. But in my function , I should not control this voltage to below 3.3V or 3.6V.

I need to generate a simple CRC16 checksum from a unit8_t array[64] in javascript and validate the checksum on the STM32F373.I have been looking at the CRC unit and all of its options.  I see STM32 use a non-standard scheme.Does anyone know of a sample library or function examples showing how it can be done in javascript with matching c function?  Here is the javascript function i could potentially use if I can match up a c function or STM32 CRC config settings to match:function calculateCRC(data) {    const polynomial = 0xEDB88320;    let crc = 0xFFFFFFFF;    // Iterate through each character in the data    for (let i = 0; i < data.length; i++) {        // XOR the current character        // with the current CRC value        crc ^= data.charCodeAt(i);   &n

Hello,I'm using STM32G0B1-Nucleo (with no USB user connector), and I am trying to program USB device (I tried virtual COM, HID and MSC separately).I'm using the STM32CubeMx with STM32CubeG0 FW V1.5.1 to generate the configuration with PA12 and PA11 for D+ and D-.But after plugging into PC it is detected (after a while) with "Unknown device (device descriptor request failed)" error. (see img bellow)  Notes:1- I have used the same USB Wire to connect the board with the PC on STM32L476-Nucelo (with no USB user connector also) and STM32F4 Disco and it works fine for both, so I don't think it is related to the wire or the configuration I'm using.2- The STM32G0B1 Nucleo I'm using is a new one, I just purchased it for this application.3- I have tried to use the STM32G0C1-EV application provided in the Cube FW but with no success. Please find attached the .ioc file and the main.c of my project.Any Idea about this issue and how to fix it please? Thanks.

Hello! Please, help me to recover from designer crush.I open my .touchgfx file in the designer (4.22.0), and it opens fine, but with a yellow dot next to Texts tab. (I re-installed some fonts that were used by the application before). But when I press on the Texts, the Designer closes. The designer log then looks like this:2023-09-28 11:32:40,191 [23] ERROR TouchGFXDesigner.App: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.at TouchGFXDesigner.Main.Project.Texts.CalculateLineHeight.HashLanguageSetting(LanguageSetting languageSetting)at TouchGFXDesigner.Main.Project.Texts.CalculateLineHeight.Execute()at TouchGFXDesigner.Main.Project.Texts.FontLineHeightCalculator.Monitor()at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.RunInternal(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state)--- End of stack trace from previous location ---at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.RunInternal(Executio

Hi,I am using MKI109V3 with Unico Lite and MKI239A. Following UM1064, I need to edit the source code to add MKI239 as additional evaluation board for a combo of acclerometer and gyroscope. The UM1064, user manual of Unico Lite, suggests to find “number of data bytes coming after *start” and "setdb" from UM2116. But the relevant information for MKI239A is not included in UM2116/Table 4 "Returned values for *start command". May I kindly ask if this information could be provided? Thanks a lot! I am trying to make everything work before Christmas.  P.S. Below are two screenshot from UM1064 (Section 1 and Section 3.1), showing it is supposed to be straightforward to add new evaluation boards, as long as info is provided in UM2116 table 4...

Hello all,Maybe someone knows, why the STM32CubeIDE don,t reconize touchgfx::ScalableImage bat_img_w image? The error message is "Write occurrence of 'ScalableImage'". Of course I genererate code on TouchGFXDesigner and after in STM32CubeIDE. The Image objects ale reconized correctly but ScalableImage don't. I can't use not reconized object in MainScreenView. Below generated code from TouchGFX.   /*********************************************************************************/ /********** THIS FILE IS GENERATED BY TOUCHGFX DESIGNER, DO NOT MODIFY ***********/ /*********************************************************************************/ #ifndef MAINSCREENVIEWBASE_HPP #define MAINSCREENVIEWBASE_HPP #include <gui/common/FrontendApplication.hpp> #include <mvp/View.hpp> #include <gui/mainscreen_screen/MainScreenPresenter.hpp> #include <touchgfx/widgets/Box.hpp> #include <touchgfx/widgets/Image.hpp> #include <touchgfx/widgets/

Hi,I use in my project STM32MP153, which is a model without a GPU. My application also doesn't need any graphical representation like Wayland, X11, etc. How can I update st-image-weston.bbappend to remove these unnecessary elements?ThanksMW

Hello,I would like to implement a 64 Mbit PSRAM for the MCU F207VGT6 with a 100 pin footprint. There are 22-bit address pins and 16-bit wide data pins on required by the IS66WVE4M PSRAM.How can I configure this MCU in CubeIDE?  It is shown that Data/Adress: max 24bits. Do the data and address share pins ?  Attached is the screen shoot of this configuration.Kind regards,Neo

I am currently going through the documentation of the Board Manager. What was not clear to me is the difference between the Phase Voltage Generation settings DrivingHighAndLowSides and PoweringHighAndLowSides. It does not help that the latter doesn't have an example circuit shown like the others.

Hello,I'm working with a STM32F767, on a custom pcb and a Nucleo-144, same behavior, so it's probably not hardware / board related.Source code:Bare metal, no OSSAI to ETH, via DMAETH: zero copy Tx & Rxhttp server (TCP) works perfectPTP via UDP works perfect Debugging with UART, Wireshark, Jperf.Problem:streaming / sending TCP data from STM32 to Jperf server, 6.4 Mbit/severy now and then there's a dupack, then fast retransmission, okay...but usually after a few seconds there are lots of dupacks (>3), and after too many a retransmission occurrs with a delay of > 400 ms, killing my applicationI played with the lwIP timers and the TCP retransmission timers, that reduced the delay to these 400 ms, before that it was sometimes 1.5 s.I turned of everything in source code that might block.I changed all ETH transfers to zero copy, TX with interrupt for non-blocking PTPd.Any ideas?Edit: I uploaded the most important source code parts - the complete zero copy (mostly non-Cube/HAL) ether

I am trying to read some data by ADC using DMA transfer method I configured the ADC   attached the code belowI cannot getting the ADC value in all buffer only  read the 3rd  buffer 1st and second buffer shows grabage value please help me i tried out changing the sample value and clock prescaler My cpu speed is 14Mhz and also to the ADC is 14Mhz

Hi,when starting STM32 Cube Programmer (W64) or checking for updates I get this messageThere is "No Proxy" set in the Proxy settings and the Windows PC has internet access (browsing www works).Any ideas? Thanks,M

Hello,I am planning to use VL6180 sensor in my application which is going to communicate with STM32L071. I would like to ask a question since the specification for the AVDD mentioning about optimal value is 2.8V. Do I need to provide some special LDO for stabilization this voltage (ripple reduction, etc.) or I can supply VL6180 directly from step down converter as long as I keep +/-100mV tolerance on 2.8V output? STM32L071 should works well. Thank you in advance for your help and sorry if this question was already answered but I had difficulty to find it. Jacek

NOTE: I have edited this post after some of the replies, to fix some typos in the code and to use "insert code" instead of "Preformated" to get syntax highlighting. Hello,I would like to understand what is the recommended approach when working with interrupts and low power modes, when using the HAL.The approach I'm following right now is:Use a volatile variable to indicate if there is an interrupt. One bit for each interrupt.Using masking,  the corresponding bit is set in each interrupt callback. The callback does not perform any other action. In the main infinite loop, go to sleep if there are no interrupts. When woken up, check each bit of the flags variable to serve the pending interrupt(s).Here is a simplified code sample:const uint8_t ISR_1 = 0x01; const uint8_t ISR_2 = 0x02; const uint8_t ISR_3 = 0x04; volatile uint8_t isr_flags = 0; main (){ // Init stuff while(1){ if (isr_flags == 0){ HAL_SuspendTick(); // Is this call here ok? Could it lead to missing an inter

Hello, sorry to ask you, I am not a programming professional, but a user on a particular project. As long as everything goes well it's perfect but when I have a problem it becomes complicated for me.I'm trying to compile a code after having customized it for my needs, so I loaded the .ioc file into the IDE, everything went well, however when I run DEBUG, I get messages errors that I don't know how to interpret. My understanding is that the compiler is expecting files but not finding the correct ones. What is strange is that in theory the project is complete. If you could help me, I would be very grateful.Thanks.

Hello, I would like to ask you to know how it is that the PA5 pin in OUTPUT (non-pullup and non-pulldown) delivers a voltage of only 2.6 V instead of 3.3 V like the others? Thanks in advance
