Hi, i'm dealing with fdcan and have problems with high speeds, 1Mbps works good, but 8Mbps (which works in loopback mode) doesn't, I tried with delay compensation, but didn't work, or maybe i used it wrong way? static void MX_FDCAN1_Init(void){ /* USER CODE BEGIN FDCAN1_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE END FDCAN1_Init 0 */ /* USER CODE BEGIN FDCAN1_Init 1 */ /* USER CODE END FDCAN1_Init 1 */hfdcan1.Instance = FDCAN1;hfdcan1.Init.ClockDivider = FDCAN_CLOCK_DIV2;hfdcan1.Init.FrameFormat = FDCAN_FRAME_FD_BRS;hfdcan1.Init.Mode = FDCAN_MODE_EXTERNAL_LOOPBACK;hfdcan1.Init.AutoRetransmission = ENABLE;hfdcan1.Init.TransmitPause = DISABLE;hfdcan1.Init.ProtocolException = ENABLE;hfdcan1.Init.NominalPrescaler = 1;hfdcan1.Init.NominalSyncJumpWidth = 1;hfdcan1.Init.NominalTimeSeg1 = 3;hfdcan1.Init.NominalTimeSeg2 = 3;hfdcan1.Init.DataPrescaler = 1;hfdcan1.Init.DataSyncJumpWidth = 3;hfdcan1.Init.DataTimeSeg1 = 3;hfdcan1.Init.DataTimeSeg2 = 3;hfdcan1.Init.StdFiltersNbr = 1;hfdcan1.Init

Hi STM Team,We are using VL53L0CXV0DH Sensor for our Object Detection Application in Medical Field. The Sensor is working fine, but after 1 month of time the dust in the environment covers the sensor's LED part, so, the dust was affected the overall sensor performance. We already tried some dust protective films, but that was created the sensor to detect the object wrongly or always detects objects.Kindly provide any protective covers/films or any suggestions to cover the sensor from environmental dusty particles as well as not absorbing the sensor rays.

Hi,I am using stm32cubeIDE to use USB OTG/Dual_role but it does not generate the middleware! I do appreciate any helpThanks

We are using SPC58NH-disp.We are developing a software that we want to print the data we receive over CAN-FD to the screen with TCP.We are using a Simple TCP Echo Server Demo for TCP.Data flow takes place indefinitely and in indefinite numbers. But suddenly the device is locked.Either, Can-fd data is transmitted endlessly when the Ethernet socket is not plugged in.However, when the socket is inserted, the device is locked even if the connection is not established. Can you help with this crash?

Hi I followed this yt-guide for CAN-bus https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JfWlIY0zAIc&t=918s I'm however using a different type of nucleo board (L433RC-P in my case and F103C8tx in the video) and a different type of CAN-transceiver (MCP2561T-E/SN vs MCP2551 in the video). My board uses a different type of can periphery (can1 vs can). My solution to this difference was to just change all of the code where he writes can to can1. Yet checking with an oscilloscope, I don't seem to be sending any CAN signal. relevant code: Setup:

I am currently facing an issue with the RPM readings while running a motor using the STEVAL-IPM10B and NUCLEO-F302R8 in conjunction with the ST Motor Control Workbench.Upon measurement with a tachometer, I observed a difference between the practical RPM values and the readings displayed on the dashboard. Even though I utilized the Motor Profiler to generate motor parameters.I had attached the Program files for your reference. Thanks in Advance.

Hi,My thread starts working with the features I mentioned below:    panID = 0x2222U; channelNB = 12U; networkKey = (otNetworkKey) { .m8 = {0x00, 0x11, 0x22, 0x33, 0x44, 0x55, 0x66, 0x77, 0x88, 0x99, 0xAA, 0xBB, 0xCC, 0xDD, 0xEE, 0xFF} };    I want to change this config in mcu working. How can I do this? I changed my values and I tried the code below:    otError error; error = otLinkSetChannel(NULL, channelNB); if (error != OT_ERROR_NONE) { return AKUS_ERROR; } error = otLinkSetPanId(NULL, panID); if (error != OT_ERROR_NONE) { return AKUS_ERROR; } otNetworkKey *ptr_key = (otNetworkKey*)&(networkKey); error = otThreadSetNetworkKey(NULL, ptr_key); if (error != OT_ERROR_NONE) { return AKUS_ERROR; }   but my thread app fails when I use this codes.Best regards.

I am currently encountering an issue while configuring the Motor Control Workbench. Upon completion of the configuration, I receive an error stating "ST Intranet Updater Server is unknown: mcucrossselector.codex.cro.st.com." Additionally, the compilation process in Motor Control Workbench results in "Compiled with errors."I am using STM32 Cube IDE to upload the program. Could you please provide guidance on whether this server error is something that needs attention, or if it can be neglected? Thanks in Advance

I'm using a STM32H563 Nucleo and the latest version of CubeMX along with the Keil (V6.19 C Compiler - uVision IDE V5.38)I have discovered a weird issue where even though CubeMX seems to be generating the initialization code for the baud rate for UART9 correctly, it does not actually get loaded into the UART9 Baud Rate Register (BRR) using the Lower Level (LL) libraries:UART_InitStruct.BaudRate = 19200;UART_InitStruct.DataWidth = LL_USART_DATAWIDTH_9B;UART_InitStruct.StopBits = LL_USART_STOPBITS_1;UART_InitStruct.Parity = LL_USART_PARITY_ODD;UART_InitStruct.TransferDirection = LL_USART_DIRECTION_TX_RX;UART_InitStruct.HardwareFlowControl = LL_USART_HWCONTROL_NONE;UART_InitStruct.OverSampling = LL_USART_OVERSAMPLING_16;LL_USART_Init(UART9, &UART_InitStruct);LL_USART_ConfigAsyncMode(UART9);LL_USART_Enable(UART9);When I compile and execute the code, the USART_BRR value stays unchanged at 0 hex.  I have tried the same thing on UART7 and it works just fine.  I am trying to trace

Hello! I am trying to use MDMA with stm32h743zi, but when i set up it on cubeMX, i don't know which channel number to choose.I looked up information about MDMA but nothing useful found... Any help here to know which number to choose? As always, thank you so much!

Hello,Can you provide FIT rate data and pin FMEA for the M24C04-A125 EEPROM devices? M24C04-DRMN3TP/KM24C04-DRDW3TP/KM24C04-DRMF3TG/KThank you and best regards,Jessica Riley

hi,i couldn't chase which location address allotted for OTP memory ?.As per data sheet of MCU - Stm32f401ccu6– 512 bytes of OTP memory allotted . Can anyone please detail me OTP location Start Address - End Address

Hello,I am trying to achieve the maximum timer clock on the STM32H723ZG for input capturing. In the data sheet is written under Table 4: "The maximum timer clock is up to 550 MHz depending on theTIMPRE bit in the RCC_CFGR register and D2PRE1/2 bits in RCC_D2CFGR register."I tried to achieve this in the Clock Configuration but it seems like the only solution I found is invalid (see screenshot below). Can I still do that? Or is there another way to do that?I tried to compile it and it worked without a problem. Sadly I cannot test it on hardware due to delivery. Thanks in advance!

Hey guysIm using stm32h743 and nand flash connected with fmc.I searched to see how I can create my own external loader for nand(i couldnt find any for nand flash).I think i just need to adapt Loader_Src.c file to nand flash hal function and a linker to build the .stldr?Am I on a right way?

Hi Community,I´m trying to import this driver for my custom board,fp-sns-stbox1/Drivers/BSP/Components/st25dvxxkc/st25dvxxkc.c at main · STMicroelectronics/fp-sns-stbox1 (github.com)could someone explain this more? why should NULL be written in ICREF_REG ? Thanks in advance!Danny

Hi,I am trying to do multi-channel single conversion in polling mode in a scan sequence on an Nucleo-STM32G070 board, there is a multi-channel ADC example with this board, but it needs a trigger for every channel. What I need is:start the conversion for all channels successively, one by one, and after one second, collect the result in an array and start the conversion again. So the questions are:1. how to configure so that the multi-channels could be converted one by one with just one trigger?2. how to retrieve the conversion data for all channels?I checked the HAL driver stm32g0xx_hal_adc.c, it provides only one function to get the result: uint32_t HAL_ADC_GetValue(const ADC_HandleTypeDef *hadc)It returns the DR register value. I did not find a similar function that returns a pointer which points to an array of the conversion values for the multi-channels.The following is my MX_ADC1_Init:static void MX_ADC1_Init(void){ADC_ChannelConfTypeDef sConfig = {0};/** Configur

Apologies if I've missed something simple (and I probably have!), but I'm trying to convert ADC readings on the STM32F072 into actual millivolts and I cannot seem to put all the pieces together.Where I am currently stuck is the formula at the top of page 260 in the reference manual RM0091 Rev 10:VDDA = VDDA_Charac x VREFINT_CAL / VREFINT_DATAAccording to the note just under that formula, "VDDA_Charac is the value of VDDA voltage characterized at VREFINT during the manufacturing process. It is specified in the device datasheet."I've been all over the STM32F072xB (DS9826 Rev 6) datasheet and I cannot find any reference to such a thing as VDDA_Charac or the voltage at which the VREFINT_CAL is characterized at. Am I supposed to assume it is 3.3V? Is there some constant in the HAL that I should be referencing? I found a "VDD_VALUE" in stm32f0xx_hal_conf.h, but I don't think that's it.Thank you for any guidance you can provide.

I am using the LSP22HB on an I2C bus. I can read the "who am i" register and get the expected value. I can also read various configuration registers and see the default values. So, I believe I am communicating with the device.I don't set any registers since it seems the default values have the device in power down mode which is needed for ONE_SHOT operation. To get the pressure and temperature values I do the following steps:1. Write to CTRL_REG2 the value 0x11. This sets the IF_AUTO_INC and the ONE_SHOT bits. I am under the impression the ONE_SHOT bit starts the operation to get the pressure and temperature.2. I loop on reading the CTRL_REG2 and check the ONE_SHOT bit waiting for it to go to zero. This should indicate that the readings are now available.3. I then read the pressure and temperature registers. I get values but they are not correct. I have tried both multi-register access to get all the values in one I2C interaction and looping through and just getting one pressure and te

Hi,I am currently trying to receive uart message when the MCU is in stop mode on a Nucleo-L073Rz board. To do this I first wake up the mcu on uart start bit, and when the mcu receive the uart idle event.I can then treat the received message in the main loop before entering again the main loop.It works great when the received message is only one char long. However if the received message is longer, the HAL_UARTEx_WakeupCallback is called a second time after all treatment has already be done.Which is a problem, because it wake up the MCU whereas It doesn't trigger HAL_UARTEx_RxEventCallback in order to stop the mcu again.I am quite new in embedded software so maybe I have to make some routine or clear flag, but I have no idea. How does I assure the HAL_UARTEx_WakeupCallback not to be called twice ? #define RX_BUFFER_SIZE 20 uint8_t charBuffer = 0; uint8_t rxBuffer[RX_BUFFER_SIZE] = {0}; volatile uint8_t uartMessageCompleted = 0; uint8_t enableStopMode = 0; void enterStopMode() { HAL_

Hello. I have three question about using classical CAN frame with FDCAN controller.I am using STM32H743VIT6 MCU on my PCB. 1. If system clock(label in ioc file: SYSCLK) is too low, can it make impossible to use CANbus? 2. If I using only classical CAN frame, does Nominal bit timing parameter(Nominal Sync Jump Width, Nominal Prescaler, Nominal Time Seg1/2) only consider and Data bit timing parameter ignored? or both bit timing parameter use for CAN 2.0 communication?    2.1 I am using KVASER Bit Timing Calculator to set timing parameter. what is appropriate sample point value for STM32H743?    2.2 There is Tseg1, Tseg2, SJW at KVASER Bit Timing Calculator for CAN FD. Does Tseg1 = Time Seg1, Tseg2 = Time Seg2 and SJW = Sync Jump Width? 3. If I using only classical CAN, may I use CAN transceiver which is not supporting FDCAN?(I already make PCB and I use CAN transceiver which didn't supporting FDCAN...) Thank you.

No idea what this does.  Can't find any documentation.I installed it and am looking at the panel.  Maybe add a help button on the panel so people have a trail to the information. Thanks!

I want to use tim 2 at the frequency of APB1 and not to the sysclock how i can do that, can somoene explain me or look at my code at the bottom to help me i want to use the 0.09375 frequency for my projet. thanks

I am working working with a PMSM FOC project in MC Workbench 6.2.1 and I am wondering if there is a way to change the mcu's analog vref input voltage. From the numbers I'm seeing on the current measurement page, it seems like MC Workbench is expecting the mcu to have a 3.3v reference on the vref input pin of the mcu. However, I don't see a way to change that in MC Workbench or a field for it in any of the board files for the control or power boards. The custom board I am using has a 3.0v input to the vref+ pin on the mcu. Is it possible to input this information anywhere?

I'm wondering what happens with the EDATA sectors when bank swapping is enabled. In the GetBank_EDATA() helper function in the FLASH_EDATA_EraseProgram example, the FLASH_OPTSR_SWAP_BANK flag is not checked, so it would seem the EDATA areas do not swap when the banks are swapped. Is that indeed the case?

I have the following code that I call from a freertos task scheduled with a period of 100 ms.It reads the voltage applied to a pin and return the voltage value as a float.   float pinin_pv(void) { /* Return the pin voltage in the interval [0, PIN_VOLTAGE] */ extern ADC_HandleTypeDef hadc1; const uint32_t ADC_RESOLUTION_BITS = 10; const uint32_t pippo = hadc1.Init.Resolution; // Only for explanation const float PIN_VOLTAGE = 5000.0F; // [mV] const float ANALOG_IN_RESOLUTION = PIN_VOLTAGE / (float)(1 << ADC_RESOLUTION_BITS); // [mV]HAL_ADC_Start(&hadc1); HAL_ADC_PollForConversion(&hadc1, HAL_MAX_DELAY); size_t analog_read = HAL_ADC_GetValue(&hadc1); float pin_voltage; pin_voltage = ANALOG_IN_RESOLUTION * (float)analog_read; return pin_voltage; } As you see, I have hard-coded const uint32_t ADC_RESOLUTION_BITS = 10; but I would like to pull this information from hadc1.Init.Resolution; (as example, I defined a variable named pippo in the code abov
