Hi,I'm planning to start a project with the STM32H757BIT6 microcontroller (MCU). I'd like to use the STM32H757I-EVAL evaluation board, but I noticed it utilizes the STM32H757XIH6 MCU.I'd like to confirm if I can begin development using this evaluation board. While I understand the STM32H757XIH6 MCU may have additional pinouts, is the STM32H757I-EVAL still compatible with the STM32H757BIT6?Can I start my project using this evaluation board and after my prototipe is done, change simply configure it for the new target MCU? Of course, I'll need to be mindful of only using the pinouts available on the STM32H757BIT6.Thanks!

Hello,i downloaded the source code of the iOS App (STSW-ST25IOS001), but i get tons of error, it's not compilable.Has anyone tried? I wanted to use it as reference for developing.I already made an app with Android and it's working, with far less troubles.Am I missing some steps to make it run?I have already read the pdf about j2objc and bridging but i guess the original source code should already be set.

I tried to connect but it's always: "No STM32 target found! If your product embeds Debug Authentication, please perform a discovery using Debug Authentication"I also try "Under reset" mode but still not working. Can someone help me

I need to start using STM32CubeMonitor on my NUCLEO-G071RB to monitor some variables of my new firmware application developed with STM32CubeIDE 1.15.0. I never used STM32CubeMonitor before, so I installed the last STM32CubeMonitor 1.8.0 on my Windows 11 Pro 23H2 64-bit PC.I launch STM32CubeMonitor and it opens the Basic Flow for a simple acquisition. I try to configure the nodes myProbe_Out and myProbe_In as explained in STM32CubeMonitor:How to select the target article, but no probe are listed in the acq stlink in/out node properties:My NUCLEO-G071RB board is connected and its embedded ST-LINK/V2-1 is properly enumerated as ST-Link Debug with the last driver:The ST-LINK/V2-1 is updated with the last firmware version:And the ST-LINK/V2-1 is properly detected by STM32CubeIDE and STM32CubeProgrammer:I also installed the last ST-LINK Server 2.1.1, but I got no change. Maybe it must be started? How?I get the same result with other NUCLEO boards and a

Hi,I used PA12 & PA11 as input gpios(pull-up) in STM32U595VJT6Q ,read the pins are always '0'.The IOs connected NOTHING.I reference RM0456 : I config USBPWREN and VDD11USBDIS bits used the HAL functions before  GPIO_Init():HAL_PWREx_EnableUSBHSTranceiverSupply();HAL_PWREx_DisableVDD11USB();BUT I read the pins still '0'.How can i do?The details of HAL function like as:HAL_StatusTypeDef HAL_PWREx_EnableUSBHSTranceiverSupply(void){uint32_t vos;/* Get the system applied voltage scaling range */vos = HAL_PWREx_GetVoltageRange();/* Check the system applied voltage scaling range */if ((vos == PWR_REGULATOR_VOLTAGE_SCALE1) || (vos == PWR_REGULATOR_VOLTAGE_SCALE2)){SET_BIT(PWR->VOSR, (PWR_VOSR_USBPWREN | PWR_VOSR_USBBOOSTEN));}else{return HAL_ERROR;}return HAL_OK;} void HAL_PWREx_DisableVDD11USB(void){/* Set VDD11USBDIS bit */SET_BIT(PWR->VOSR, PWR_VOSR_VDD11USBDIS);}

Dear ST-Electronics Community,I hope this message finds you well. I've noticed a limited number of posts (1 or 2) regarding the import of Altium format files and the subsequent development of custom PCBs. Could any hardware professional from the ST-Community please look into this matter?.I have access to Altium Designer and wish to import ST-design files into Altium for time-saving purposes. However, I'm unsure of the exact process and would appreciate guidance on how to proceed. I attempted to convert the SCHDOC.ASCCI format to import into EasyEDA, as I find EasyEDA easier to use for board design. However, I encountered a footprint missing error after importing into EasyEDA.My question is, can I use Altium directly for converting the design to PCB after importing the design files? Will this method work, or is there a proper method to extract the schematic and convert it into a PCB?I respect any suggestions or guidance you can provide me!thankyou.

Hello,I am using "NUCLEO-H743Zi2" eval board. I am using it for UART communication. I had configured UART4 in it as following;PA0 as UART4_TXPA1 as UART4_RXWhen I tried to transmit, it is not transmitting more than 2 bytes. While receiving, it is not at all consistent (random values are received). So I checked board's schematic as following;I saw that PA1 and PA0 are not directly connected to CN11 connector in the board. Is it causing UART4's transmission and reception error? Also if I want to operate UART4 using GPIO's PA0 and PA1 only, what is the solution?

HI Guys,Sorry to bother you... Now I was working use STM32C0XX series chips, my development tools is IAR8.50, and find that IAR8.50 can't show STM32C0XX series chip, I had check some data: someone said should upgrade IAR FW, others said I should add STM32C0XX Lib config files into IAR development, but I can not find where I can download STM32C0XX config lib, so what should I do?

Hello im Khoi. i get big trouble with stm32l431rct, when i using freeRtos . Task1 i using spi comunication . Task2 i get ADC DMA . When i disable Task2 program no problem. But i enable task2 get problem spi hardfault-Handler . Excuse me :((

Hello ST experts I found the same problem as previous post  https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-embedded-software/stm32f072xb-gpio-issue-usb-pins-do-not-work-as-gpio/m-p/151104#M8715  But for stm32u595, I can not find the similar register USB_CNTR.PDWN. Is there any way to set PA12 as GPIO input? Best RegardsYang

The error occurs when I try to run the code generated for model squeezenetv1.1_xxx_tfs_int8.tflite The command I used to generate code is stm32ai generate -m squeezenetv1.1_128_tfs_int8.tflite -O ramAnd I follow the guide "How to run locally a c-model" in the X-CUBE-AI Documentation to get the executable. When I run the elf, it returns an assertion failed which like this.Assertion failed: (((ai_size)(ai_array_get_byte_size(((ai_array_format)(((ai_array*)(p_tensor_scratch->data))->format)), (((ai_array*)(p_tensor_scratch->data))->size)))) == scratch_size), function ai_layer_check_scratch_size, file layers.c, line 289.To figure it out, I observe the intermediate output per layer following the guide "Platform Observer API" in the X-CUBE-AI Documentation. And I find out that stm32ai generates the wrong size for the scratch data of one Conv2D layer.          The correct shape should be (1, 63, 63, 64), but

The error occurs in both Mac m1 and windows. When I use "stm32ai validate/generate" command, I find that "-O ram" outputs totally strange results. Let's use fdmobilenet_0.25_224_tfs_int8.tflite from stm32ai-modelzoo as an example. "stm32ai validate -O time/balanced fdmobilenet_0.25_224_tfs_int8.tflite" outputs as belowThe "X-cross #1" here is 100% which is perfect, but for "stm32ai validate -O ram fdmobilenet_0.25_224_tfs_int8.tflite", something strange happens. The "X-cross #1" is 10% and the accuracy of c-model is 0% meaning that the model can hardly do what the developers want to do. Note that this happens in about 30% models for image classification in stm32ai-modelzoo as I tested. To get a rough reason for this problem, I observer the intermediate output per layer between "-O ram" and "-O time/balanced". I find that, for only fdmobilenet_0.25_224_tfs_int8.tflite, the difference first happened in a "conv2D + maxpool" layer. In "-O ram", it is fused

Hi during development of program I found weird behaviour. I am using STM32G030C8T6 MCU. I am trying to connect external device using HC-05 bluetooth module. In my project I also connect with devices using MAX3485 module for RS485 communication. I wrote python app on laptop to send information to my MCU. Information is interpreted in MCU and then it answers with same information to external device to ensure correctness of communication. Everything worked well until I started to listening for response from RS485 devices. Somehow request for connection and then first request from laptop, before sending any data to RS485 devices, works as desired, but after that any data obtained from MCU is seen on laptop as 0x0b in hexadecimal. I only send one byte of information in bluetooth communication. First I thought that maybe there is a problem with priority of interrupts but then I changed NVIC settings for UARTs in .ioc file for 1 for RS485 and 0 for bluetooth and nothing changed. Also weird is

Hello,I have a circuit which uses the L6470 with a STM32F401.  I based the circuit off of the development board, X-NUCLEO-IHM02A1 which has 2 L6470's on board.  https://www.st.com/en/ecosystems/x-nucleo-ihm02a1.htmlThe X-NUCLEO-IHM02A1 circuit has a large cap on VS.  The documentation on the X-NUCLEO-IHM02A1 states the power supply can be between 8 and 45 V.  Our circuit is to be used at 24VDC.  The large cap on the X-NUCLEO-IHM02A1 (C7 and C23) is listed as 100uF and 63V.  On my design, I am using 100uF 50VDC.  We built some units and supposedly the units were in service for a period of time but then at some point failed.  I received two boards back that show damage to the L6470 and the large cap that would be on VS to ground.  The L6470's show burn marks on the top of the chip and on board the large electrolytic cap was blown off of the board.  When I checked the cap for resistance it read nearly a short (just a couple ohms).  On

I got this from github.  It compiles ok.  The package has source for STM32WLxx_HAL_Driver.  How can I find out what version is the STM32WLxx_HAL_Driver?  TIA

I am using CAN1 pins to Connect to the driver board (SN65HVD230).     All Voltages are good. I am using 2 PCAN dongles with 120 Ohm terminations at both ends of the BUS with the Nucleo CAN shown above in the middle of the bus.  I ported the code from the following project;   >TX Mailbox used: 0x1t>TX Mailbox used: 0x2s>MCR: 0x30Can State: 0x2Interrupts: 0x1007F, msr flags: 0xC00 , tsr flags: 0x52000000, rf0r flags: 0x0, rf1r flags: 0x0, esr flags: 0x0 The Tx message is not getting out.   Also I have a PCAN message being transmitted on one PCAN dongle and the other PCAN Dongle is receiving the message fine.     The Nucleo pcb does not see the message at all. I am using the default clock setup for the NUCLEO board       void SystemClock_Config(void) { RCC_OscInitTypeDef RCC_OscInitStruct = {0}; RCC_ClkInitTypeDef RCC_ClkInitStruct = {0}; /** Configure the main internal regulator output voltage */ __HAL_RCC_PWR_CLK

Hi,Some doubts on the ECC functionality on STm32h74x.How can we know if the data can be corrected for cases DEDF and DEBWDF ? I always see the DEDF and SEDF fields set in my case. This bits are set when the control is hit the main(), and then I cleared it forcefully by writing 0x03 to M3SR and M4SR (when the control is at the red line). But, these bits were set immediately when I stepped into the next instruction (see below snapshot). Why is this so ?

Hi, Does myir MYD-YF135 development board support Bare Metal Project?

Hello,I am using a STM32G491 in LQFP48 package. In the RM0440 rev8 page 2122 the package code for LQFP48 is 01011. But I read 01001 which would be LQFP32. The device id 0x479 is correct. Is there a reason for this? Thanks.

Hello,I have a custom H743 board with Microchip USB3340 external PHY (REFCLK = 24MHz, dedicated external oscillator)In an code that use ChibiOS, my configuration should achieve HS mode, but ultimately, after handshake, it revert to FS mode (12Mbits/s) : so it works, but it is slow.In order to understand where I am wrong, I have flashed STM32F7Cube(V1.17.1)/STM32746G-Discovery/Applications/USB_Device/MSC_Standalone/SW4STM32/STM32746G-DISCOVERY_USBD-HS on a discovery F746, but problem is same : when plugged on a computer (tried several : windows and linux, different usb cables) official ST MSC HS demo connect in FS mode, not HS mode with same symptoms : slow transfert rate. Can some someone can point me a working MSC HS demo, or has clues why ST demo don't do HS, and if there is a way to fix that ?ThanksAlexandre

Hello everyone,I need to get some information about the power consumption of the STM32 Nucleo-64 with STM32F401RE MCU.The board is powered from the computer's USB port. The board has a IDD jumper (JP6) for MCU current measurement so I attached a Parkside multimeter to get the current.I created a project in which the main while loop is empty and all peripherals are disabled. In this case, the current shown on the display of the multimeter is fixed. If I modify the project and I use the timer interrupts to acquire data from the sensors, the current shown is fixed. If I create another project without interrupts but acquiring data from the sensors in the main while loop, the current shown is fixed. If I add some "printf" (using USART2 and PuTTY) to show these data, the current is variable. If I create a project in which I execute some inferences of a neural network, the current is variable. Why do I have a fixed value of the current on the display in some cases and a variable value

I'm working with a legacy project that uses some EEPROM emulation code on a STM32F103 MCU. I need to find the original release file containing eeprom.c and eeprom.h of that emulation code. The description of the header file looks like this:  /******************** (C) COPYRIGHT 2008 STMicroelectronics ******************** * File Name : eeprom.h * Author : MCD Application Team * Version : V2.0.0 * Date : 06/16/2008 * Description : This file contains all the functions prototypes for the * EEPROM emulation firmware library. ********************************************************************************  As you can see this is very old code. Is there a place where I can find the original release package that contained these files?I was able to find similar, much newer code but not that exact release/version.Thanks a lot!
