Hello,I'm working on project with STM32H755ZIT6. Currently I use Nucleo Board, but I designed prototype board, but the board don't work. I supose that problem is caused by wrong connection for supply.I use +3.3V from DC/DC connerter for suplly. Can someone help to find out where could be the problem?Thank you all in advance for any tips.

Good morning,I am using the ANT7-T-M24SR64 evaluation kit based on the NFC front end M24SR64-Y, with a 14x14 mm antenna, and I would like to know what is the exact value of the COIL inductance, as from the ST sw I was not able to replicate the correct inductance value to be able to do a proper tuning.Also, as far as tuning is concerned, should I rely on the 14.2 MHz frequency if I want to be able to increase the reception distance between the receiver and the NFC transmitter? Or if so, can I add capacitors for proper tuning?Kind regards,Domenico

When I try setting up to use an external 10MHz reference clock on the HSE with a divisor of 1 and a multiplier of 25 it insist the frequency will be 255MHz but shouldn't it be 250MHz,  Similarly for every multiplier I have tried the frequency is 5MHz off.See attached screen shot from CubeMX. ThanksChris.

In vl53lx_platform.c  functions VL53LX_WriteMulti() and VL53LX_ReadMulti()  are taking care of the VL53LX_COMMS_CHUNK_SIZE which was set to 56.So, data is send in telegram chunks if length exceeds this definition.I'm wondering if this is due to VL53LX chip limitations or maybe the telegram length shouldn't  be too long for safe transmission or lack of transmission buffer size?

When switching on a new, unprogrammed STM32L431, PA6 turns hard to output high.This is SPI1 MOSI.AN2606 should say this out aloud.I know the 'G0 have this too, and AN2606 says this for them, although quite quietly and confusingly in a footnote.There really ought to be a clean trail of documenting such thing - which may be fatal to new hardware and/or production tester - from RM through AN2606.JW

Hi,On using svg's on an U5f9, i try to activate the hardware acceleration but this demands to much free memory of my project. the nema buffer create pool function demands 614K of memory, independent of the MEM_POOL_SIZE or the STENCIL_POOL_SIZE. is there a way to lower this usage or is it connected to the display resolution (614K is exactly half of my framebuffersize) Thanks in advance

In motor control workbench 6 there is only HSO (which I don't understand if it's equal to HFI)In motor control workbench 5 there is the option "sensorless + HFI" but it is not settable because it says "not supported in FW for SDK5.x"Is there by any chance a version of motor control workbench that supports HFI + Sensorless ?? Thanks

Hi,do you have any IC that can read either one of the three tags linked below?Two of them are one frequency and the third of another frequency, we can stick to using just one frequency, 13.56MHz might be the better one.If not, do you make any tags as small as those for which you can also provide a reader IC?LXMS33HCNG-134-datasheet (murata.com)LXMS33HCNK-171-datasheet (murata.com)LXMSJZNCMD-217-datasheet (murata.com) Thank you

Hello, i am trying to use SPI2 on STM32H753VIT6 MCU using PD3 as Clock and PC2_C as MISO. Using the Hal libraries, i can generate clock on PD3 pin, and sensor answers me. But i dont get the sensor value on my software. Strange behaviour is, at its normal state i read 0xFF from PC2_C pin, but when i pull PC2_C to ground i can read 0x00. However i cannot read sensor data. When i changed the MISO pin to PB14 it worked. But i need PC2_C for my design. I have seen there have been people that had problems with PC2_C pin due to it being analog pin i assume. But i dont see anything on errata sheet. How can i solve my problem?Thank you.

Hello I'm beginner with MCU or MPU. So, I want to buy Nucleo board the type is NUCLEO-G491RE. But I don't know which NFC board must I've buy. Because If I saw on the STM32 site there are many NFC boards. I want to learn about payment NFC with SIM Card. Please Help.B

I made a board with ST32H7B0ZBT6, and add a external flash with W25Q128JVS。I found after I enable mapped function, I couldn't write data to external flash any more.the code with enable mapped func as below: uint8_t W25Qxx_OSPI_Init(void) { OSPI_RegularCmdTypeDef s_command; uint16_t w25qxx_id; uint8_t value = W25QxJV_FSR_QE; if (W25Qxx_OSPI_ResetMemory() != OSPI_OK) { return OSPI_NOT_SUPPORTED; } if (W25Qxx_OSPI_WriteEnable() != OSPI_OK) { return OSPI_ERROR; } s_command.OperationType = HAL_OSPI_OPTYPE_COMMON_CFG; s_command.FlashId = HAL_OSPI_FLASH_ID_1; s_command.InstructionMode = HAL_OSPI_INSTRUCTION_1_LINE; s_command.Instruction = WRITE_STATUS_REG2_CMD; s_command.AddressMode = HAL_OSPI_ADDRESS_NONE; s_command.AlternateBytesMode = HAL_OSPI_ALTERNATE_BYTES_NONE; s_command.DataMode = HAL_OSPI_DATA_1_LINE; s_command.DummyCycles = 0; s_command.NbData = 1; s_command.DataDtrMode = HAL_OSPI_DATA_DTR_DISABLE; s_command.SIOOMode = HAL_OSPI_SIOO_INST_EVERY_CMD; s_co

I installed VS Code and the STM32 extension. Compiling a project imported from STM32CUBEMX works.But creating an empty project from VS Code (target is: stm32g474retx) gives me this error when building:  [main] Building folder: D:/Projects/tmp/firmware2/build/debug [build] Starting build[proc] Executing command: C:\ST\STM32CubeCLT_1.16.0\CMake\bin\cmake.EXE --build D:/Projects/tmp/firmware2/build/debug --[build] [1/1] Linking C executable firmware2.elf[build] FAILED: firmware2.elf [build] C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe /C "cd . && C:\ST\STM32CubeCLT_1.16.0\GNU-tools-for-STM32\bin\arm-none-eabi-gcc.exe -fdata-sections -ffunction-sections -Wl,--gc-sections -g -TD:/Projects/tmp/firmware2/stm32g474retx_FLASH.ld -mthumb -mcpu=cortex-m4 -mfpu=fpv4-sp-d16 -mfloat-abi=hard -Wl,-Map=firmware2.map -u _printf_float --specs=nosys.specs -Wl,--start-group -lc -lm -lstdc++ -lsupc++ -Wl,--end-group -Wl,-z,max-page-size=8 -Wl,--print-memory-usage CMakeFiles/firmware2.dir/Src/mai

Hi there Touchgfx team!I have this UI requirement to pop up a progress bar after the "read" button is clicked The progress bar will appear and go from 0 to 100 in 10 seconds. What I would like to do is that after the "read" button is clicked, I want to wait 10 seconds before continuing with the rest of the code. I tried a while but it crashes the UI. Here's my code:  void calibrateView::read_calibration_step_flex_button_is_clicked() { if (test_selected == QGA) { /* 1. send calibration read step to backend to get the value, This step can be triggered several times*/ int calibration_rlu_atp1_value = presenter->notify_backend_read_calibration_step(); // start_rlu_progress_bar_animation = true; customProgressBar.setVisible(true); customProgressBar.invalidate(); start_rlu_progress_bar_animation = true; this is where I want to wait the 10 seconds Unicode::UnicodeChar tempBuffer[20]; Unicode::snprintf(tempBuffer, 20, "%d", calibration_rlu_atp1_value); update_te

Hello, I would like to know How to configure the J-LINK Segger to work with STM32CubeIDE, after a little searching I found this video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rf-NKOoPYUc But at 12:11 I can see this configuration in the video              But I don't have an Application directory : In this case, do you have an idea how to do it ? Thank you for your helps. Regards

Hi there,My STM32H573I-DK demo board is stuck in PROVISIONING state, probably as the result of a failed or aborted provisioning operation. I was doing hand-on training  with the  How to start with STiRoT on STM32H573 wiki. Now, I cannot regress it to OPEN, or run the provisioning.sh script again to proceed to CLOSED. Any attempt ends up in a Debug Authentication Failed error.I am aware of the importance of providing DA credentials to avoid locking the device in CLOSED state. But I don't think I missed this step, and my device is not CLOSED. Any idea how I can unlock this board ?Thanks for any support.Christian R FYI, here is the log of a regression attempt using STM32Programmer:09:34:22 : STM32CubeProgrammer API v2.17.0 | Linux-64Bits 09:34:40 : Start Debug Authentication Sequence09:34:40 : SDMOpen : 609 : open : SDM API v1.009:34:40 : SDMOpen : 610 : open : SDM Library version v1.1.009:34:40 : open_comms : 501 : open : Asserting target reset09:34:40 : open_com

Hello,I found an interesting problem with the USB controller. Our device uses MCU STM32F756, with USB in FS Device mode.We have a total of three USB IN endpoints, controlled via Azure RTOS / USBX middleware. With a heavy load on USB endpoints, sometimes an endpoint gets stuck. By observing the registers of the USB controller, I found that the given endpoint is ready to send data, but the FIFO empty interrupt is not enabled. These interrupts are controlled using the OTG_DIEPEMPMSK register.The problem is that this register is shared by all endpoints and setting or clearing the relevant bit is not atomic. If the executive thread is preempted by the scheduler or the USB interrupt handler in the middle of a read-modify-write operation, the OTG_DIEPEMPMSK register may not be set correctly.I solved the problem by using ATOMIC_SET_BIT / ATOMIC_CLEAR_BIT macros around the OTG_DIEPEMPMSK register (in HAL_PCD_IRQHandler, PCD_WriteEmptyTxFifo and especially the USB_EPStartXfer functions). It look

Hello everyone,I’m reaching out with a question regarding the ST25R95-VMD5T. I’m working on a project where I need to read an NFC tag from an nRF52832 board, specifically an ISO 14443-4A NXP MIFARE Plus tag. This tag stores a URL in an NDEF message: nordicsemi.com.I’ve managed to retrieve the 7-byte UUID from the nRF board with the following sequence of commands:Protocol mode select: [00 02 02 02 00]Response: [00 00]REQA: [00 04 02 26 07]Response: [80 05 44 00 28 00 00]Anti-collision CL1: [00 04 03 93 20 08]Response: [80 08 88 5F 47 1D 8D 28 00 00]Select CL1: [00 04 08 93 70 88 5F 47 1D 8D 28]Response: [80 06 24 D8 36 08 00 00]Anti-collision CL2: [00 04 03 95 20 08]Response: [80 08 C2 78 3A 8E 0E 28 00 00]Select CL2: [00 04 08 95 70 C2 78 3A 8E 0E 28]Response: [80 06 20 FC 70 08 00 00]Protocol mode select: [00 02 05 02 00 00 21 00]Response: [00 00]Read command: [00 04 03 30 01 28]Response: [87]The UUID I’ve obtained is 5F 47 1D C2 78 3A 8E, which I’ve confirmed with a mobile reader.At

Ні,I possess the following items:1. Development Board : P-NUCLEO-IHM032. Controller Board : NUCLEO-G431RB3. Inverter Board : X-NUCLEO-IHM16M14. DC power supply 12 V dcI downloaded the STM32 MCSDK 6.3.1 SDK as part of the environment setup, which is included with STM32CubelDE Version 1.16.1 and Motor Pilot_6.3.1 for monitoring purposes. Following the documentation's suggestion, I successfully generated the code for the specified hardware combination. After successfully building the generated code, I was able to flash it onto the controller. Upon powering up the development board, the motor pilot tool displayed the following status. The status is triggered with FAULT_NOW with highlighting the following: Over Voltage, Under Voltage and Driver Protection.Thanks and regards,Prasanth

Hi, i want the communication between stm32f411re board and raspberry pi 4. i tried to do with uart2 through USB cable it is working fine. but sometimes it is not able to communicate properly. there is a delay while communicating sometimes. will i2c or spi communication works with USB cable to communicate. which is better and i want the one efficient to work as i want both ways communication.

Hello,I am developing a project using nucleo-l4r5zi ulp mcu. I am trying to find example codes for peripherals and generic components like rtc, iwdg etc but i am not able to find it in stm32cube ide as only middleware examples related to usb, rtos etc can be found when i search examples wrt the board. Can anyone share or guide me through the proper resources, where i can find examples for all functionalities of the board. Thank you

Regarding the cause of HardFault_HandlerHardFault_Handler occurs at a specific timing in our software.I was able to determine which process was causing the problem by looking at the call stack, but is it possible to investigate the cause further by looking at registers or something else?

Hi STM Expert, This query is a continuation of the below ticket https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/no-activity-observed-in-tx-pin-of-fdcan-in-stm32g491kcu6/td-p/733712 Right now, we are testing the normal mode scenario where we have taken two STM32G491KCU6 MCUs and considered one as the Transmitter and one as the Receiver. Attaching the sample code we used for transmitting part and receiving part. Since we only have one STMLink, we cannot run both MCUs in debug mode. So the transmitter MCU is simply booted up and receiver end we are planning to run in debug mode so that we expect the Rx buffer to get filled and observe the same in Live Expressions tab.   Please let us know if this method is correct?

Hello ST Community,I have a question regarding the compatibility of the STLINK-V3MODS SWD pins with my MCU's SWD pins, which operate at 3.3V. Do I need to use logic level shifters between them, or are the STLINK-V3MODS SWD data signals fully compatible with 3.3V logic levels? Additionally, can I connect them without using logic shifters, and if so, would that be safe for stable operation?Thank you for your assistance!

HiThere's a not-too-well worded paragraph from AN2606 on page 33:For STM32 devices embedding bootloader using the DFU/CAN interface in which theexternal clock source (HSE) is required for DFU/CAN operations, the detection of the HSEvalue is done dynamically by the bootloader firmware and is based on the internal oscillatorclock (HSI, MSI). When (because of temperature variations or other conditions) the internaloscillator precision is altered above the tolerance band (1% around the theoretical value),the bootloader can calculate a wrong HSE frequency value. In this case, the bootloaderDFU/CAN interfaces can malfunction, or not work at all. Does this mean the bootloader requires an external oscillator when you are using USB with the bootloader? My circuit doesn't have an external crystal, for the application I am using HSI and everything is fine including using USB device (CDC). I'd be happy to just use USART1 as I am already using that in my application for debugging with an FTDI

Hello,When I add the BLE stack to the STM32WB35CEU6A, I notice that the RTC and timer settings don’t work correctly. With the BLE stack enabled, I can’t get accurate time information from the RTC and timer, or there are inconsistencies in the timing. Is there something I might be overlooking in the STM32CubeMX settings? What specific settings should I pay attention to for stable operation of both RTC and timer with BLE?Thanks!
