Hello, Is there any example code for the STM32H563ZI eval board that has an application using FreeRTOS-Plus-TCP? I've checked ST's Github for the STM32CubeH5. Is there a similar chip's repo that could be a good reference? Thanks

Posted on February 19, 2018 at 17:42Hi all,I've tried several time to get in contact with the ST Online Support (http://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/support/online-support.html  and then the Submit Request button)  but every time I've experienced an error into an unknow 'Serena Business Manager Log In ' it give me all time Invalid User ID or Password (note I've did the login to the ST support page with success).I've no idea how to get in contact with the support team then I'm writting here, sorry if this may be not the right place to do that.just to know if others have same trouble or not. Thanks in advance.Best RegardsFabio

Hi,Currently using the STA8100_MF_DRAW_Binary_Image_v5_9_22 firmware, could you demonstrate commands to specify the received NMEA data streams, such as $GPGSV, or commands to disable all data streams & control the output frequency? It would be great if there is any GitHub initialization code available.Thank you.

Dear friends,If I buy a Nucleo board on the ST ecommerce site, it turns out that the warehouse is located in the US, in fact the currency is expressed in dollars.Last time I made a purchase, I had the unpleasant discovery that I had to pay very expensive customs fees, in addition to the cost of shipping precisely because the shipment was coming from the US, and this was not clearly explained during the purchasing process.Considering that- ST is a French-Italian company- Nucleo boards are made in ChinaHow it is possible ST doesn't have an European warehouse where I can purchase with Euro?Question: is there any possibility to buy from an European ST official warehouse?Note: I know there are the usual distributors (Mouser, Digikey, RS, ...) but only few of them sells to private individuals and some have very expensive shipping cost. I found the board I am looking for (Nucleo-G0B1RE) on Distrelec but sign-up is now disabled due to the merger with RS, and on RS website that board is out of

I am writing an LPTIM driver without HAL or LL drivers on the B-L072Z-LRWAN1 board. I have been getting a number of odd behaviours here that I am hoping someone here can shed some light on.1) cannot enable continuous start          -bit 2 of the CR register is never set. I added a bunch of __NOP();s in between enabling the timer and setting continuous start with no success. I have also tried setting both bits together with LPTIM->CR = 0b101U; with no success.2) ISR only clears every now and then.          -using the IRQ handler function, the ISR is cleared the first time, and subsequently only clears about once every 5 times afterwards. the IRQ is being called constantly, when CNT = ARR should be true once a minute (Sysclock = MSI = 131072 Hz, PSC DIV = 128, ARR = 60963).3) other ISR flags are set          -even though i only set bit 1 (ARRMIE) in the IER register, when the IRQ handler is called, th

Hello ST Community, for the STM32H5, STM32U5 and STM32U0 series, it is already possible to use USBX without ThreadX using CubeMX. After my research, I have a few questions:Why was this limited to these STM32 series only? Are there plans to support the other series in the future? Is it possible to generate a CubeMX project for the STM32H5 with standalone USBX and simply port the USB part for STM32F7 projects? Will there be support for MTP Device USBX projects in the future? Why is it not possible to configure an MTP device project with the ST own USB stack in CubeMX and why is there not a single example for a simple MTP USB device project? Are there plans for ST's USB stack to receive safety certificates such as IEC 61508 SIL4, IEC 62304 Class C etc. similar to USBX?Thank you very much

Hi. I am working in a project which involves the use of an STM32L443 microcontroller. I am using the IAR for ARM v 9.30.1 and the CMSIS and ST drivers package (STM32CubeL4 Firmware Package V1.17.1). I am using LL drivers (HAL is not suitable for our needs). I have configured several timers to interrupt when the counter reaches the compare registers (basically, to have different timeouts to do different tasks). The problem comes when I use a LPTIMx timer. It works as expected, triggering an interruption when the counter register value matches the compare register value programmed. But sometimes, it triggers an interrupt in moments in which the counter register are not close to the compare value. In order to simplify, I create a simple project to show the problem clearer. It consists in an infinite loop which just have two timers (TIM1 and LPTIM1) running in sleep mode with compare interruptions active. The idea is to initialize the LPTIM1 compare register CMP to make LPTIM1 to interrupt

Hello, In my application USB Device, on successful enumeration, BIT13 "USB_OTG_GINTSTS_ENUMDNE"of OTG core interrupt register (OTG_GINTSTS) turns High.As per USB2.0, if my USB Device in its Device Descriptor demands for higher power than what external USB HOST can support, the enumeration fails.I want to know what will be the state (high/Low) for for BIT13 "USB_OTG_GINTSTS_ENUMDNE"of OTG core interrupt register (OTG_GINTSTS) in that condition.

Hi.  I am working with the above H750B discovery board developing a touch gui for my project.  I am still at the very early stages of design.   I have imported the project into CubeIDE  and I have started to implement the required user code for the existing screen widgets and so far all is good (everything is working as it should).  I now want to enable the boards SPI and USART peripherals as the H750B will eventually have to communicate with the projects additional MCU's (STM32411RE) via the H750B's gui. The unmodified TouchGFX STM32H750B-DK.ioc clock configuration screen is presumably set optimally via TouchGFX Generator however, adding SPI1 as a peripheral in CubeIDE generates clock issue errors.  Using the auto resolve option the result knocks the SPI1,2,3 Clock Mux and SYSCLK down to 75MHz. I assume that 75MHz is the maximum speed at which the SPI peripheral can operate?I'm wondering how to reset the SYSCLK back to it's unmodified 480MH

Hi Guys,I was planning to start a project using the STM32WB55 chipset to implement a device capable of connecting to both Zigbee and BLE devices via a dynamic concurrent mode approach. I was able to confirm that this device supports it from the thread  https://wiki.st.com/stm32mcu/wiki/Connectivity:STM32WB_Dynamic_concurrent_mode_BLE-Zigbee I'd also like to confirm if the WBA series supports this feature. Given that the WB55 is a dual-core (M4/M0+), and the WBA series is based on the M33 core, I need to verify if the WBA series can support Bluetooth Low Energy® and Zigbee dynamic concurrent mode for this project. I couldn't find anywhere specific that says it doesn't support dynamic mode and I guess WBA is a very different series compared to WB. Please share your knowledge on this.Looking forward for your response.

Hi, I went through some other discussions discussing a similar problem, but they did not seem to help. I have screen one which displays (dynamically) a container. The container has a button on it, which when clicked, changes screens to screen 2. At the same time the container needs to send data to screen 2 (an int). The button is a flex button which I set up from the GUI call a virtual function. I would prefer a way where the container is not permanently tied to screen 2, as this container appears on multiple screens and does something similar.

Good evening everyone; I was going to ask about something the size of it. If anyone has any information, I'd be happy. STMCube ide is also the LWip library tool. For MQTT connection via Ethernet. After publishing and subscribing for a certain period of time (30-40 minutes), "Out of memory error." (-1) error occurs and publishing and subscribing operations stop. How can I do that.

Hello, I am Erdem.I am an R&D engineer at Devimsel Elektronik. I will use the SPC560P processor on my own PCB board. For this I need instructions for using SPC5 studio. How do I make configurations such as pin and clock tree? Can I get an instruction sheet for this?

Hi,I have a project with STM32L010 that runs OK if started from the STM32CubeIDE with the "debug" or "run" buttons, but after power restarts, the code is not running.I have tried to short BOOT0 pin with no success, and I couldn't find a way to program the BOOT0/BOOT1 bits in STM32CubeIDE.Any help will be appreciated. Thanks,Roy

Hello,After changing from STM32F401RBT6 to STM32F401RET6, I can no longer put the chip in boot mode. All I did was to replace the chip; my understanding is that both chips are identical except memory. Does it need additional changes? Thanks for the help!

Hi happy people,Until we receive the prototype from our electronic designer, I work on the NUCLEO 144 U575IZ dev board, from IAR workbench, and via ST-LINK facilities. In this condition I can execute a minimalist shell (I send command from PC, the board execute and answer,)  on USART1 via the VCP mounted by ST-LINK. Everything works fine this way. Now I need to prepare myself to work on the real hardware. First step: I move the Nucleo from ST-LINK to Segger J-Link, by following this from the Nucleo user manual UM2861move JP6 on pins 7-8, so I power the Nucleo from USB-Cset JP1unset JP2All of this works fine, I can upload binary to the board and debug step by step from IAR Workbench, no problem. Second step: I want to get rid of the VCP mounted by ST-LINK and directly use USART1 on CN12 connector, that is I need PA9 (TX) & PA10 (RX) + a gnd on this connector and on this connector I wire a FTDI USB-RS232 cable.remove solder bridge SB32 and SB34 : no more connectio

I am using STM32H5RE23T6. I implemented the function of receiving data from the FDCAN line. When I select FDCAN mode without BRS, it works without any problems. When I select with BRS mode.I set the arbitration phase to 1mbps.I set the data phase to 8 mbps. I cannot receive 8Mbps data in BRS mode. I set the data phase speed to 2Mbps. I can receive data in BRS mode, but I cannot receive data at 8Mbps. I have 2 reasons for this. Firstly, the can transceiver may not support this speed. The can transceiver I use is TCAN334D.It says up to 1 Mbps in the datasheet, but I was able to get 2Mbps as well. My other reason isHAL_FDCAN_ConfigTxDelayCompensation and HAL_FDCAN_EnableTxDelayCompensation We can send data up to 8Mbps using the functions, I saw on the forum that it says so in this link. But I don't know how to do it. Can anyone explain in more detail?

Hello!I am just getting started with STM32 universe. I've already finished my first project using the IDE SW4STM32 and I board I've designed using the STM32F070CBT. I've also used STM32CubeMX to generate the basic code.I wanted to keep using this board, as it's fully tested and all the hardware seems to work fine. But I just found a problem trying to implement a way to send a break signal before sending the DMX frame.I'm using __HAL_UART_DISABLE(&huart1) and __HAL_UART_ENABLE(&huart1) to try to manage the TX1 (PA9) pin, but even though I've tried to just do a simple blink, I can't get any control. It's not doing the break signal at all.__HAL_UART_DISABLE(&huart1);   HAL_GPIO_WritePin(TX1_Port, TX1_Pin, 0); delay_us(150); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(TX1_Port, TX1_Pin, 1); delay_us(12);   __HAL_UART_ENABLE(&huart1);   HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart1,(uint8_t *)DMX_test,3,0xFFFF);I am a bit desperate as it's the only detail I'm missing to finish this project. I'm

Hi.  My TGFX project is based on a Swipe Container employing multiple screens. Each 'swipe' will bring a set of widgets into view that are responsible for many different settings. Amongst these widgets are pairs of Radio Buttons which should work independently of - for example - another pair, located on another screen in the Swipe Container.I notice that all of the radio buttons I have impleneted thus far belong to a single Radio Button Group in TouchGFX Designer (identified in the Properties Menu under Group).  I don't see a way of adding multiple entries into this property field in order to handle the values of another pair.  In other words the name given to the first array of buttons in the Radio Button Group manages all radio buttons added thereafter. This is not the behaviour I am looking for as, interacting with one pair of buttons on one screen - for example - an on/off pair, directly affects the values set of another pair on another screen. Currently, my proj

Hello!!!I worked before with version 6.9.1 on my laptop (Win8.1) and it worked. Then I bought the PC: Windows 10 Enterprise 22H2 build 19045.5131, AMD Ryzen 9 7900X 12-Core Processor, 32 GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti.I decided to install the new versions CubeIDE (1.16.1) and CubeMX (6.12.1). OK, I worked with IDE and everything was fine even with old project. Then I needed to change some settings and pins. I opened CubeMX and migrate my old .ioc there started some strange things:- CubeMX is loading my system (come one... look at my PC properties)- didn't generated code but saved parameters to .iocNote: I tried to continue with old version CubeMX but it worked until the CubeMX started to freezing. After I closed .ioc and when I open it again - see the picture (white picture) Then I decided to make a new one .ioc. And what happened:- CubeMX is loading my system with some operation- I configurated system properties, timers, clocks, connectivi

I get the time in one thread with following code:   RTC_TimeTypeDef ti = {0}; RTC_DateTypeDef da = {0}; HAL_RTC_GetTime(& hrtc, ti, RTC_FORMAT_BIN); HAL_RTC_GetDate(& hrtc, da, RTC_FORMAT_BIN); It jumps from 12:59 to 1:00 instead 13:00, With another project which uses an older firmware and different pcb but same MCU this does not happen. Can this be a probem in the Cube Ide HAL 1.28.1? Or a problem with the RTC itself? I have only one prototype yet, but I will check next week with other prototypes. HAL_RTC_GetTime contains the following code: sTime->Hours jumps from 13 to 1 but sTime->TimeFormat remains 0.   I use 24 hours, but even if the settings would be 12 hours, the sTime->TimeFormat should be set after going from a.m. to p.m. sTime->Hours = (uint8_t)((tmpreg & (RTC_TR_HT | RTC_TR_HU)) >> RTC_TR_HU_Pos); sTime->Minutes = (uint8_t)((tmpreg & (RTC_TR_MNT | RTC_TR_MNU)) >> RTC_TR_MNU_Pos); sTime->Seconds = (uint8_t

Hello Guys, Currently I am using Parallel RGB888 TFT display with resolution 800X480 in which I am using STM32F429ZIT6 controller using LTDC with DMA2 and I am printing whole RED color on display but display showing lines. My question is as I am not using external SDRAM will internal SDRAM of STM32F4 is sufficient to drive this. and if not then what is the issue int main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ /* USER CODE END 1 */ /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/ /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN Init */ /* USER CODE END Init */ /* Configure the system clock */ SystemClock_Config(); /* USER CODE BEGIN SysInit */ /* USER CODE END SysInit */ /* Initialize all configured peripherals */ MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_LTDC_Init(); MX_DMA2D_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */ // Fill the screen with a solid color as a test uint32_t color = 0x00FF00; // RGB888 for green HAL_DMA2D_S

Hi,    The datasheets says (P173) - the VREF– s available only on UFBGA176+25 andTFBGA240+25. When VREF- is not available, it is internally connected to VDDA and VSSA. Our ADC input signal goes to both positive and negative. Questions:1. What the part number we should use, which allows VREF–? (Negative ref)2. Is VREF– a fixed value or changeable? How is it defined relative to the input signal range?3. Does NUCLEO-H753ZI board allow our negative ADC input signal in? If so, who is the the range (max + and max -) defined? Thank you very much for your help,

Hi,I am having STM32U575 boards with me and I am able to use a simple TouchGFX project with U575ZI_GFX02Z1 example from TouchGFX.I tried embedding example Video from TouchGFX and my compilation fails for the below error:(.text._ZN8touchgfx11VideoWidgetD2Ev+0x8): undefined reference to `touchgfx::VideoController::getInstance()'Upon looking into ST forums, I found that either I need to enable the support of video through hardware of software. But the U5 package does not have "libjpeg" package avaialble for download from CubeMX.Can you confirm if the STM32U575 can support playing video through software or hardwar Means? If yes, can you provide me instruction on how to support it from hardware and software both for U575? If not U575, can UF9 support playing video using hardware? Thanks,Mehul

Hi,i need some help for the EV-VN9D30Q100F. It says there is a dedicated Software for the SPC582B-DIS or /EV but i can't find it nowhere. The board connects to the GUI (STSW-EV-M09SPI), so far so good, but without the firmware on the MCU, i can't test the VN9D30. and is there a component in autodevkitstudio for the VN9D30 board ? or will it be released ? i wanted to evaluate the board before i implementing it, into my hardware design ?
