Hi everybody: First post here. I'm working with a GPS parser that re-sends data to another board, and receives some feedback from this other obard. BTW, both perform GPS parsing, with the same algos. One is Feather STM32F407 (the one with the problem) and the other is Nucleo STM32F439 that is also a UDP server/broadcaster. The issue is that the first one uses USART 3 to interface to a GPS (in this case, TESEO3), and USART 6 to re send the NMEA sentence. In both cases, I'm using the DMA receive to IDLE, since in both cases data stream is continuous. The issue, is that the HAL_UARTEx_RxEventCallback only seems to work with ONE of the serial ports. If I use only one, then it works fine with whatever port is being used, but I find no way to use both. The code of the callback is: void HAL_UARTEx_RxEventCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart, uint16_t Size) { if (huart->Instance == USART3) { //Data received from GPS. Send it by remote link to Tracker if (DataToParse == 0) DataToPar

Hi Team,"I'm working on a TouchGFX project that was generated using the TouchGFX Designer. I need to add source files for USB functionality. I tried adding the .c and .h files to the Core/Src and Core/Inc directories, but I'm getting an error stating that the files cannot be found. How can I properly add .c and .h files to a TouchGFX project? Also, I am highlighting the place where I want my source file in a screenshot." I have a folder named TCOMP that contains .c and .h files. I also tried adding this folder to my project by updating Paths and Symbols under Properties > C/C++ General, but I'm still encountering the same error. How can I correctly include these files in my project?Thanking you in advance

Hello, hope someone can help me, thx! I successfully completed the SensorDemo_BLESensor-App by connecting NUCLEOWB05KN1 with NUCLEO-U575ZI-Q, and carefully followed the manual X-CUBE-WB05N_GettingStarted. I have also verified that we can send data by Bluetooth on NUCLEOWB05KN by only connecting the VDD, GND, and the RX, TX to the TX and RX of the NUCLEO-U575ZI-Q. However, we built a PCB that exactly copy from stdes-wb05kv2ld (two-layer board), and assembled the stm32wb05kn and the components (same as stdes-wb05kv2ld) onto the PCB. When we connected the PCB with NUCLEO-U575ZI-Q by 3V3, GND, RX to PCB's USART TX, and TX to PCB's USART RX, the WB05KN is not responding; by the logic analyzer, we can see that the NUCLEO-U575ZI' TX is sending out the data, but stm32wb05kn is not responding; it remains logic high. I was thinking if the chip has been lock-up accidentally, so we have also tried the stm32programmer, by connecting the swdio, swclk, NRST,

Hi people,Im working on STM32H723 module and using SPI6 with LL and/or registers. Even when using HAL libraries I have same issue. SPI stops working randomlyI need to send several messages every (e.g.) 25 ms, (I tried 50 ms). Main Clock is set to max speed, 550 MHz, SPI 6 clock is 137.5 MHz and using a clock divider of 16 it downs to 8.6 MHzTwo timers running, 1 ms ( run time tracking) and 25 ms (used for SPI6)No other peripheral is active in this experiment (I have a bigger code with several peripherals enabled but run into SPI problems so I decided to test SPI only in this experiment)This is SPI TxRx functionSPI is working in 8-bit mode. This function is called for every byte that needs to be transmitted. For example, a packet of 10 bytes will call this function 10 times. There are faster ways of doing that, I agree. For now, Im debugging SPI peripheral problems. Initialization of SPI is the one provided by IDE Init function. Basic one, no need to go deep into this section. Cache D a

I am using a STM32WB55RCV6 for a BLE project.  I did initial development on the NUCLEO-WB55RG development board and it works ok. Ignoring all other functions, the basic feature I am trying to see work is BLE advertising. However, when I move that code to a custom designed board the coprocessor software (that handles BLE wireless functions) seems to be stuck in the FUS state, and never emits the WIRELESS_FW_RUNNING event.  This indicates the coprocessor has not entered the WIRELESS state, so it is not ready to issue advertisements, etc. I have confirmed the initialization function is called on the Custom board, as it is in the Nucleo board. I have checked key clocks on the Custom board as configured by MX and they seem functionally equivalent to the Nucleo board, namely a SYSCLK of 32 MHz on both, and a RF Timeout clock of 31.25 KHz  (compared to the Nucleo board which has a RF timeout clock of 32.768 KHz).  My assumption is the minor difference i

I'm trying to experiment with a Custom HID USB demo.I'm following the instructions at:How to implement a USB device custom HID class on ... - STMicroelectronics CommunityPart way down it suggests:However when I got to Middleware I don't have USB_DEVICE (I just have USBX)I can't see a way to add the USB_DEVICE Package to to the middleware list.Help (please)?

Could someone clarify the interrupt priority order for SPC58 MCU family? Is 0 the highest priority or 63 is the highest priority?Best regards

Hello Sir,     I am working with STM32WB55CGU7 bluetooth MCU for Client and server for our application. Our application is Client and server connect 3 minutes once for 20 seconds.I need to enable the sleep mode in this controller for reduce power consumption.Because Iam using Lithium iron battery to power on the board. So Need to use Battery voltage for long days. And I have included my doubts of 2 points. Please find and help me solve as soon as possible to achieve our Project. 1. We enable the sleep mode in this controller using inbuild functions. These functions are I have used,      PWR_EnterSleepMode();         PWR_ExitSleepMode();  Its working. We test this scenerio, Initial Voltage(V) Time(Hrs) With sleep mode (V) VoltageDifference(mV) 3.445 13.5 3.005 440 Initial Voltage(V) Time(Hrs) Without sleep mode (V) VoltageDifference(mV) 3.577 13.5 3.515 62 We faced, without enabling the sleepmode the voltage was drop

Hello team,    I am working with STM32WB55CGU7 bluetooth MCU for Client and server for our application. Our application is Client and server connect 3 minutes once for 20 seconds. While connecting, Need to calculate the distance .How to find the distance using RSSI value? How to find the accurate distance from the server between connection. Here below,          hci_read_rssi(gConnHandle,&gRssiVal);          gDistance = pow(10, (((float)TX_POWER-gRssiVal)/(20.00)));     based this type I calculated the distance. This method is correct or not. Is there are need to add or change maethod to calculate the distance.  Thanking you.

To clarify the details about my environment:STMC Board Designer v1.0.0Motor Control WorkBench v6.3.2Now to my question:For the STSPIN32G4 Eval board example, the PE15 Pin is assigned for driver protection trigger input. This makes sense, because the datasheet of the STSPIN32G4 also indicates PE15 as the internally connected fault timer input pin. But when I try to create a custom inverter board, I can only select pins that are also available on the package itself.Since PE15 is only internally connected, I can't select it.How can I assign the pin in the board specification?Any help is welcome :)Best regards,Daniel

Hi, I'm trying to use the LPS28DFW in one shot mode and there seems to be a discrepancy between the devices functionality and the application note. From an5758 section 3.2 - one shot mode: "One-shot mode has to be executed while the device is in power-down mode by setting the ONESHOT bit (default value 0) in CTRL_REG2(@11h) to 1. When this happens, a single data acquisition is executed and read data are made available in the output registers. Once the acquisition is completed and the output registers updated, the device automatically enters again power-down mode and the ONE_SHOT bit is self-cleared (to 0)"Based on this I set CTRL_REG1 to 0x03 (power down mode, 32 sample average) and CTRL_REG2 to 0x41 (4096 full scale, one shot enabled). I then poll the value of CTRL_REG2 to wait for the one shot bit to be self-cleared to indicate the acquisition is complete and read out the sample. However the first reading of CTRL_REG2 is 0x40 (one shot bit cleared), even with almost no delay. This mean

Hi!I have created a few projects to practice working with the STM32H series. Then, I selected SPI or I2C and used GPDMA linked-list. According to many tutorials, I should have gone to the utilities folder to configure GPDMA, but such a folder did not exist. I performed this on two PCs. CubeMX is up to date. Janusz

Hello, A small disclaimer before beginning, this is my very first project on STM32, and my experience (currently being a student) with embedded systems as a whole is quite limited, so if I omit any important information, please indicate it for me. I'm currently trying to familiarize myself with the Nucleo-FR446RE, building the project seems to go on pretty nicely, but whenever I try to debug the code in order to flash it on the FR446, I get the following error : Problem during debugging (1) More specifically I get the following error related to the failure to erase the memory : Debugging error (2) Other, maybe unrelated potential solutions that I've tried would be :  Use STM32CubeProgrammer in order to verify the flash memory protection, I have correctly disabled the protection The ST-LINK firmware is up-to-date (tried downgrading it as well) I have replaced the cable numerous times, and verified the correct placement of jumpers on the board Tried debugging on an e

I have been trying to port touchscreen with Stm32mp157c-dk2 without success. Actually, touchscreen has 15 pins but Stm32 has 20 pins and I handled the unmatched pins on Stm in logical way. Rest of the pins match but no screen seen. Do I have to make adjustment in the SW side? Best regards,Halil

Hello To receive various Interrupt events how INT1 and INT2 Pins of LSM6ds3tr need to be connected with Microcontroller ?My assumption is INT1 and INT2 pins need to be connected with microcontroller GPIO pins and GPIO pins has to be configured to catch IMU Interrupt events. Please Support whether this assumption is correct or not.

Hi Gfx Team,Could you please implement drag&drop as an alternative to open a project.touchgfx ?Thank you

Hi,I'm working with L6472 (custom shield) with an NUCLEO-H563ZI under zephyr OS.I'm facing out some issues with reading the register ABS_POS. I send  Goto command to the driver to move it from initial position 0 to position 3200. After the command is sent, the motor start moving to the good position but when I read ABS_POS register the driver send me the position 3072.After multiple try, I notice that when the bit 7 (that represent 2^7 = 128) of the desired position is high the ABS_POS doesn't contains the correct value. Even if I write  directly on the ABS_POS, when I read data this is not the good value.I attach my code and a screenshot to make sure you understand what I'm doing.  /*Get innitial position position*/ int32_t AbsPos = l6472_GetAbsPos(); printf("\033[0;33mInitial position: %d (hex = 0x%X)\033[0;37m\r\n", AbsPos, AbsPos); /*First move going to ABS_POS = 3200 steps from ABS_Pos = 0 steps */ posSend = 3200; l6472_GoTo(posSend); while (end != true

We are considering transferring power along with NFC communication using the ST25R3916 chip. From one of the application notes, we found the following block diagram, as shown in the image below. According to the diagram, the power amplifier is placed in cascade with the matching circuit.Could you please point us to relevant documents to help us design a power amplifier according to our requirements?

I have seen a lot of videos on YouTube where STM32N6 demonstrates incredible AI features such as multiple pose estimation, multiple object detection and multiple object classification at the same time. But I haven't seen anything similar for STM32MP257. So my question is: If I want to start with AI on embedded systems, which one of them two should I use?

Hello everyone,I'm trying to interface a microSD card using FileX on a custom board with an STM32H747IIT6.The microSD card is connected to the SDMMC1 peripheral using a 4-bit wide bus, with external pull-ups on the data lines.Initially, we used FATFS to interface with the microSD card, which worked flawlessly. Now, as we transition to Azure, we want to use FileX. Additionally, we are using NetXDuo to create a web server, with the SD card serving as storage for web server files. The issue occurs when calling fx_media_open (app_netxduo.c, line 522), which almost always returns error code 0x90 (except for a single successful attempt going step by step via the debugger).Current Configuration:SDMMC1 pin speed: mediumSDMMC1 peripheral clock: 40 MHz, scaled down to 10 MHz using a divider (set to 4)SD card: SanDisk 64GB, formatted in exFAT (exFAT support is enabled)Troubleshooting Steps Taken:Adjusted clock speed via divider (1–40 MHz)Changed pin speed (medium, high, very high)Tested different

Edit by ST Moderator: This post has been translated from Chinese to comply with the ST Community Terms and Conditions (§10.2). When I burned the Bluetooth protocol stack onto the new chip, my code was not executed efficiently and the Bluetooth broadcast was not enabled. I checked the documentation and found that the protocol stack needs to be started, but the corresponding buttons in my STM32Programmer are greyed out. I would like to know how to solve this problem.

I went through the ST External QSPI Loader how to and have verified my quadspi.c/h driver is good with the Winbond W25Q64 flash part we are using.  However after I create the .stldr and load it into the STM32 Programmer it will not read from the flash...get Error:data read failed.  I've attached the project if someone could help me out with what could be wrong?

Hello,I'm trying to make an OnOff Switch emitter using zigbee on the STM32WB55 Nucleo Board. I started my project from the Zigbee_OnOff_Client_Distrib applications exemple. The receiver that I use is not made to send back APS ACK. Because of this I add problems with Toggle command on the OnOff ZCL Cluster because the emitter was sending frame retries.I figured out that I could disable Ack requirement in the APS Frame Control usingzigbee_app_info.onOff_client_1->txOptions &= ~(ZB_APSDE_DATAREQ_TXOPTIONS_ACK);after cluster allocation. Now, my problem is with the Zdo. In the find and bind process, I send a Simple Descriptor Request:// /** Simple_Desc_req */ // struct ZbZdoSimpleDescReqT { // uint16_t dstNwkAddr; /**< Destination network address */ // uint16_t nwkAddrOfInterest; /**< NWKAddrOfInterest */ // uint8_t endpt; /**< Endpoint */ // }; // Request simple descriptor struct ZbZdoSimpleDescReqT req_simple_desc; req_simple_desc.dstNwkAddr = zigbee_app_info.SW1_endpo
