The function printf is not thread-safe in multitasking environments. While correct output can be expected when a single task utilizes printf, concurrent use by multiple tasks may result in garbled or overlapping text. Implementing additional synchronization measures is necessary to prevent such issues.Val Gretchev

Hi ST team:Could you share the IBIS model of Flash<M95512-WMN6TP> for signal simulation per our customer request,ThanksBRLisa

I'm reading the RM0008 Reference manual.....I can't find a description of the registers and events associated with the entry point of Vector table for USB_HP_CAN_TX and USB_LP_CAN_RX0....What does it mean USB High Priority and USB Low Priority ?How do these relate to the events?I'm studying Table 63. Vector table for other STM32F10xxx devices...

Hello,I`m using a Teseo-VIC3DA on a custom board with a microcontroller. I was trying to change the current output rate of GGA and RMC sentences over UART. From the software instruction I thought I have to change CDB-ID 600 where the field Dead-Reckoning fix rate is located. I read the default configuration of this parameter and change only the fix rate section. The command I sent is $PSTMSETPAR,1600,0x81400116*5F.But after saving and reset the output rate of those message is still 100ms. What I am doing wrong? What is the correct way of changing this output rate.Thank for your supportRodrigo

Hello, I am working on STM32U5G7VJT6 with FDCAN1 peripheral. In CubeMX I configured 8 Extended Filters, and in my code I set them as dual filters. That gives me a total of 16 CAN IDs that can be allowed by hardware. Now my application requires filtering of around 50 unique Extended IDs. Since the hardware allows only 8 filters (dual = 16 IDs), I am not sure how to configure this efficiently for 50 IDs. My questions are Is there a way to extend the number of hardware filters beyond 8 (e.g., using extended, or any advanced setting)? If not, what is the recommended approach for applications needing more than 16 IDs? Should I: Use a broader mask in hardware filters (to accept a group of IDs), and then filter the exact IDs in software? Or is there another technique for optimizing FDCAN filters for larger ID sets? Any suggestions or example implementations would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!

Dear Team, I hope you’re doing well. I am currently working on a project using the STM32F412ZGT6 board, and I need assistance to play audio via the built‑in codec. I have configured the I2S, I2C Pin and initiated some tests, but I am facing difficulties in getting proper audio output. Could you please help me with: Sample initialization code (HAL / low‑level) for I2S / codec setup Recommended DMA / buffer handling strategy Any tips or pitfalls specific to the STM32F412 series audio path Example code or reference projects that use the built‑in codec If needed, I can share my current code, configuration settings (clock, pin mappings, CubeMX file, etc.). Your guidance would be of great help in moving forward.   Thank you very much for your time and expertise.

Hello,I have been using the example for priority inheritance from the FreeRTOS on STM32CMSIS_OS APIv2.0 slide set for some time noe as an example to show to my students how priority inheritance ist working. But since upgrading to STM32CubeIDE v1.19.0 it seems this is not working any more. The is no difference now between using mutexes or semaphores. Has anybody made the sam experience so far?regardsHerbert

When using USART2 on the C071, CubeMX is generating calls to functions like `HAL_UARTEx_SetTxFifoThreshold` but the USART2 on C071 is a basic UART without FIFO.

I am using the DAC on the NUCLEO-L433RC-P board for development and have also designed a custom PCB using the STM32L433.The DAC is used for audio voice prompts (12 bit, 44.1kHz stored in external flash) and fed into an audio amplifier (TI LM48100Q).However, I am getting hiss and interference from a flashing LED on my custom PCB (but not so much on the NUCLEO-L433RC-P board).I decided to try using a bench PSU to power the VDDA and VSSA pins on the NUCLEO-L433RC-P board, in case the SMPS on my custom PCB was causing the hiss.Bbut I was suprised that the DAC still worked even though the VDDA and VSSA pins were floating after I modified the board. Why does the DAC work when the VDDA and VSSA pins are floating ?I measured the voltage on the VDDA pin (with reference to the VSSA pin) and it was around 1.6V.When I did connect the STM32 VDDA and VSSA pins to the bench PSU and supplied it with 3.3V, it made no difference to the behavior.Below are the modifications I made to th

I want to connect the STM32L433VCT6 to the ML22530TB (ROHM) using SAI communication.Where should I connect the ML22530TB's LRCLK, BCLK, SAI_IN, and SAI_OUT pins on the STM32L433VCT?

Hi ST team,  I was hoping to ask for your advice on the recently delivered product to our industry. The control mechanisms of the product are managed with the STM8S105C6T6TR. After the careful removal of the conformal coating, the STM information does not seem to conform to the specifications enclosed in the datasheet. Information from the datasheet: was there any recent change to the information content and its assembly on the chip, other than what the datasheets states? Thank youVyFe

Hello everyone! This is my first time trying to use the ST25R chip. After struggling with the datasheet, I was referred to the RFAL library and the UM2890 manual. However, I couldn't find clear step-by-step instructions.:backhand_index_pointing_right: Therefore, I'd like to ask questions about the integration process in this thread.Perhaps this will also be useful to someone else in the future. Now I have issues with steps 4 and 5. Maybe someone could give me some advice on this?My setup:MCU: STM32C031C6 (NUCLEO-C031C6).NFC: ST25R3916B on a custom PCB via I2C.Notes:VDD_RF and VDD_DR connected together. 100nF to GND.VDD_AM has 2.2uF to GND.VDD_A and VDD_D have their own 10nF to GND.AAT_A and AAT_B are not connected.EXT_LM is not connected.TAD1, TAD2 are not connected.I2C_EN to VDD_D.Antenna: single-ended, onboard, connected directly to RF0 and RF1. Step 1 – ConnectionsUM2890 - 4.1:Pin definitions• ST25R_SS_PIN / ST25R_SS_PORT - Not used because I have I2C.• ST25R_INT_P

hello we want to use cube debuger in debug whith the qspi. We have some data in the qspi programed by my bootloader or whith the cube programer  Qspi is MX25L51245G we have test them and it is running well the linker QSPI (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x90000000, LENGTH = 32M My data declared as .extflash_data : { KEEP(*(.extflash_data)) } >QSPI We have test the program with my bootloader it was OK. We want now use the project with the debugger : how we can remove the programation of QSPI when we enter in debug?

I have build the project with Nucleo_U5A55ZJ-Q with 1.4.0 and 6.2.0 library from the start, following the example code (working) with IOC setup (USBPD and USBX).  After fixing the CSRST issue earlier with missing __HAL_RCC_SYSCFG_CLK_ENABLE() but I note the demo code do not use this command. The code is running, but there is no COM port (the demo code (2021) did work with COM3). I found the  USBPD_DPM_CADCallback(..) is not calling.Below is code found in uspd_dpm_core.c where the DEF_TASK_FUNCTION(USBPD_CAD_Task) is working (via breakpoint), which suggests the interrupt is responding okay. I have spent 5 hours trying to figure out the difference between the generated code (2024) and the demo code (2021). I'm open to investigating why USBPD_DPM_CADCallback(..) is not calling. I attached ioc file.  DEF_TASK_FUNCTION(USBPD_CAD_Task){uint32_t _timing;#ifdef _LOW_POWERUTIL_LPM_SetOffMode(LPM_CAD, UTIL_LPM_DISABLE);#endif /* _LOW_POWER */for (

Regarding ST1PS02. Which is current drained from logic inputs D0 D1 D2 when connected to Vin?Is it safe to pullup them to VOUT, i.e., can it cause startup issues? Thanks for the attention.

I want to connect the STM32L433VCT6 to the TLV320DAC3100 using SAI communication.Where should I connect the TLV320DAC3100's MCLK, BCLK, WCLK, and DIN pins on the STM32L433VCT?

Hello,I am trying to use miniresnet provided at [miniresnet] on B-U585I-IOT02A board.I am using STM32CubeIDE locally, following the instruction from [wiki] for setting up software environment, and from [configuration] and [deployment] documentation for configuration and deployment. I generated the C code using the CLI and am viewing inference results via the Serial Monitor. However, when I run inference, I encounter an error with code -4.It appears to come from the following condition "NbrOfBytes > 65535U" in "./STM32Cube/Projects/stm32ai-modelzoo-services/application_code/sensing_free_rtos/STM32U5/Drivers/BSP/B-U585I-IOT02A/b_u585i_iot02a_audio.c".int32_t BSP_AUDIO_IN_Record(uint32_t Instance, uint8_t *pData, uint32_t NbrOfBytes) { int32_t status = BSP_ERROR_NONE; if ((Instance >= AUDIO_IN_INSTANCES_NBR) || (pData == NULL) || (NbrOfBytes > 65535U)) { status = BSP_ERROR_WRONG_PARAM; } ...In my case, NbrOfBytes is calculated to be 66816, which

Is there any way to get an antenna working in reader mode (chip 3911) when placed very close to a metal surface (around 2–3 mm)?I did some experiments with NFC in modern smartphones — their antennas sit right on top of the battery surface, and everything works fine there. But when I tried the same idea with the 3911 and 3916 evaluation kits, the antennas turned out to be pretty much ineffective.

i have an a GN108633 and i want to know the part number or datasheet

I am using an STM32H743 FMC to connect to the FPGA to do data transfer. (SRAM type with 16-bit data. I tried this on an STM32F429 and the test was successful)  The test is to send some amount of data to the FPGA through FMC.The code is quite simple. Write some data to 0x6000 0000 and check if the FPGA can get the data correctly. My discovery is that if only a small amount of data has been sent and  chip select signal FMC_NE1 will remain high and no waveform can be observed...Send 100 data and FMC_NE1 remains high If I send lots of data(for example, 10000 data) then FPGA can receive data correctly, but the data FPGA receives starts from 2020(this number is also random, some time 1820 some time 3020, etc)This phenomenon does not happen on F429... If I send 10 data and the FPGA can receive 10 data correctly...

bitbake st-image-weston -c populate_sdk This works without the populate-sdk optionwith the SDK an python error occursI can't find a way to get around this by cleanstate or clean glibc.Attached the log. Then did:bitbake -ccleansstate glibc-localebitbake glibc-locale which  went fine (see attachment)but then the build failed again with the same error

On the STM32H753, I have configured ThreadX with static allocation. When doing a new and delete, where does the memory come from? As well, where does the memory come from when a, for example, std::vector is created on the stack and then increased in size with a concatenation?
