Hi,We're using a STM32MP157C on a custom board and trying to get ethernet over USB to work. We have a type B USB connector on the board and when a cable is connected, the USB peripheral seems to get suspended as the logs from dwc2 shows. We've seen that there are patches for forcing sessions to be valid and added "force-b-session-valid" to the DT node. Yet the only thing we see when we connect is the suspend interrupts firing. Any ideas what's going wrong here?Thanks

Hi,not sure if I am missing something obvious here:https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/logicanalyserI cloned the sources and imported everything into CubeIDE, however it does not see any make targets, when I try to build how2eldb's main.c I get:**** Build of configuration Debug for project how2eldb ****     Nothing to build for project how2eldbI can build other M4 examples just fine, so it does not seem to be a general setup issue with my IDE. Any hints on how to proceed?I am using STM32CubeIDE version 1.3.0 Build: 5720_20200220_1053 (UTC) on Linux with an STM32MP157A-EV1 board.Kind regards,Jin

For a hour I'm breaking my head. How it this possible? What's going here?unsigned max_prio = 5; __set_BASEPRI(max_prio); __DSB(); __ISB(); uint32_t basep = __get_BASEPRI(); printf("basepri=%u\n", basep); //>>>>>>>>>>>> it prints 0 !  Using the Atollic IDE, if this matters.

I am new to using PWM, so not sure if this is a bug, invalid default settings or wrong documentation.I configured my project using STM32CubeMX.I'm using the internal clock, and the default setting for PRESCALER is 0. I can see in Keil using the debugger that the CNT register is counting (random value appears on each refresh), but the PWM output on the actual MCU output only updates when I update the RELOAD register. However, if I change the PRESCALER to 1, it works. Hardware documentation says that the prescaler can be set in the range 1-65536, implying that you should subtract one in order to fit this into the 16bit sized registry.Is the actual valid range 1-65535? If so, should STM32CubeMX change it's default value, and flag 0 as an invalid value?

HelloI am considering using STM32F769NI.Can all GPIO pins measure analog voltage when set to input?Thank you.

is there any documentation out there that tells how much power is being consume when the bluetooth operates?and if the power consumption is affected whether the Device is running on RUN mode or STANDBY mode.If there are any tips that can make reduce the power consumption without sacrificing too much performance

Hi,I have a STM32L476RG board and I try to execute the following program, obtained from this web http://www.microdigitaled.com/ARM/STM_ARM/Code/Ver1/Chapter02/Program2-1.txt which is for a different Nucleo 64 board (STM32F446RE)/* p2_5.c Toggle Green LED (LD2) on STM32F446RE Nucleo64 board at 1 Hz * * This program toggles LD2 for 0.5 second ON and 0.5 second OFF. * It is identical to Program 2-2 but was written without using * the header file. Posted on July 02, 2018 at 11:00Hello,I am using an STM32F042 controller. I have to send a wake-up pattern followed immediately by 5 bytes (@10400 baud) from my device. Wakeup pattern: 25msec LOW followed by 25msec HIGH5 byte sequence: 0xC1, 0x11, 0xF1, 0x81, 0x44I tried the following: 1) I configured the GPIOA, Pin 10, created a delay function and sent the Wakeup pattern. However, I am facing difficulties reconfiguring the GPIO into the USART Mode on the fly and then transmitting the 5-byte sequence.GPIO_ResetBits(GPIOA, GPIO_Pin_10); delay_nMSEC(25); GPIO_SetBits(GPIOA, GPIO_Pin_10); delay_nMSEC(25); usart1_init(10400);USART_SendData(USART1, 0xC1); while(((USART1->ISR & USART_ISR_TXE) && (USART1->ISR & USART_ISR_TC)) == 0){}The above code does not work. I get the wakeup pattern correctly and then a single pulse of roughly 5msec after that. But no 0xC1. However, if I put theUSART_SendData(USART1, 0xC1);in a while(1) loop, I get data transmission correc

There is the macro __FILE__ to know the complete path of the source code but how to estract only the project name of CubeWorkspace ?I would like to display this on my develop phase to be sure of the version running.On Arduino Due I have used this code but with STM32 is not easy:void display_Running_Sketch (void) { String the_path = __FILE__; String the_date = __DATE__; String the_time = __TIME__; String ver; int slash_loc = the_path.lastIndexOf('\\'); String the_cpp_name = the_path.substring(slash_loc+1); int dot_loc = the_cpp_name.lastIndexOf('.'); String the_sketchname = the_cpp_name.substring(0, dot_loc);   ver = the_sketchname + " " + the_date + " " + the_time;   myGLCD.setFont((unsigned char *)SmallFont); myGLCD.setColor(255, 255, 255); myGLCD.print((const char *)ver.c_str(), CENTER, 1);   delay(1000);   myGLCD.print((char *)" ", CENTER, 1); }

I'm trying to perform signal filtering with STM32F407VGT. I've set up the ADC and DAC to work synchronously, triggered by a timer at 42kHz, and using DMA. The idea is to process half of the buffer while ADC is filling the other half. However, even without any processing, I'm getting a periodic noise in my signal(picture attached). Seems like some portion of the buffer is always messed up. Why is this happening and how can I fix it? I'm also attaching the relevant sections of my code here. Both ADC and DAC operate in 12bit mode and are triggered by Timer2. Both use DMA in circular mode.#define DATASIZE 64 #define FULLBUFFSIZE 128   uint32_t adc_val[FULLBUFFSIZE]; uint32_t dac_val[FULLBUFFSIZE]; static volatile uint32_t* inbuffPtr; static volatile uint32_t* outbuffPtr;   void process_DSP() { for (int n=0; n<DATASIZE; n++) { outbuffPtr[n] = inbuffPtr[n]; } } void HAL_ADC_ConvHalfCpltCallback(ADC_HandleTypeDef* hadc) { inbuffPtr = &adc_val[0]; outbuffPtr = &

I wanted to use the CAN Legacy Driver like i did it in my old STM32F103 Project (Same Cube Version. latest Firmware) but i failed.I copied the Legacy CAN-Module to the Driver Source-Path, the Legacy Include's were already included.But what should i do now? In the old Project i only enabled the Legacy Driver in the HAL_conf.h, but this Fails with the STM32F042.What is the way to enable it here, or is there anywhere a good example how to ust Interrupt Receive with the new Driver??

Hi,I am currently working with the STM32WB Nucleo Boards. I wanted to flash a new FW on the Dongle. Therefore I enabled USB DFU Mode. I used the following command to write the new FW:$ ./STM32_Programmer.sh -c port=usb1 -w ~/Tools/STM32CubeWB/Projects/P-NUCLEO-WB55.Nucleo/Applications/BLE/BLE_Ota/SW4STM32/Production/Debug/Production.elfOutput:Memory Programming ... i want to use timer in one pulse mode is there any sample code for TIMER OPM mode.

Hello, we are going to develop an application which requires the usage of a cortex-m core that communicates through ethernet.Both the wiki and the migration guide (AN5253) from cortex-m4 to MP1 says this is not possibile. Is it really true? Looking at the reference manual this is not clear. Moreover, if I look at this page, https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/File:STM32MP1IPsOverview.png in old Overviews, back to 2018, it seems possibile to use the eth module via the cortexM4.Can anybody help? Thank you very much, best regards.Cesare

Hey allI've been having issues filtering out values from my processing module1) for the second graph and gauge i went in and modified it to look like thisi wanted to extract a variable out of my list called sum so in the varfilter i placed sum as a string input but when i go to deploy, nothing comes out of it.any ideas ?attached the whole thing in a zip

I have migrated some Code from a STM32f103 to my new STM32f411CEU6 Microcontroller. While configuring the Timers for the PWM generation I ran into a problem, namely the pulses are about 1500us, when they should be 1000us.Here are my Clock and Timer configurations from the STM32CubeMX:Clock configuration:My PWM Setup:The Measured Signals:So I think i have configured the systemclock to have a frequency of 100Mhz, which gets fed to Timer3. A Prescaler of 99 should divide this pulse to 1us and a Pulse of 1000 should then result in Pulses with a width of 1000us.I do not call any functions in my code, other thanHAL_TIM_PWM_Init(&htim3); HAL_TIM_PWM_Start(&htim3, TIM_CHANNEL_1);The from the CubeMX generated initialisation code for timer 3 looks like this and is called at the start of my program:static void MX_TIM3_Init(void) {   /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM3_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END TIM3_Init 0 */   TIM_MasterConfigTypeDef sMasterConfig = {0}; TIM_OC_InitTypeDef sConf

Hi All,I am having trouble getting the BLE working on my new hardware. As a base project, I am using the WB55 Nucleo BLE_DataThroughput application. My new hardware is using a STM32WBCEU6.Following the Release Notes in STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.1.1/Projects/STM32WB_Copro_Wireless_Binaries I have created a bat script and have installed the FUS and BLE_Stack. (Batch File Attached)The problem is when running my application code, the Ble_Hci_Gap_Gatt_Init() function does not complete as it is waiting for a CFG_IDLEEVT_HCI_CMD_EVT_RSP_ID event and does not timeout.How can I verify the FUS and BLE_Stack have correctly been installed? Why am I not receiving the correct event? Have I missed something for programming a new STM32WB55 MCU? Thanks,Daniel

Hi,With H7 the mapping is simple, we can use multiple streams at the same time, one channel per stream.But with L4 , it seems to be more complex, especially usage of "channel" terminology:For L4, Is it that we can use multiple channels ? Thanks,ranran

Every code in HAL driver has the below structure that doesn´t care about overflow on HAL_GetTick().... tickstart = HAL_GetTick();   while (Something()) { if (Timeout != HAL_MAX_DELAY) { if (((HAL_GetTick() - tickstart) > Timeout) || (Timeout == 0U)) { DoAnything(); return HAL_ERROR; } } ...I believe it can face some issues when the tick counter is about to overflow when the HAL is called and the results will be unpredictable.Does anyone face this kind of problem?One option to check the elapsed time is below:uint32_t HAL_GetElapsedTimer(uint32_t u32_Time) { uint32_t u32_Tick = HAL_GetTick();   uint32_t u32_ElapsedTimer = ((u32_Time > u32_Tick) ? (uint32_t) (((uint64_t) u32_Tick + (1ULL<<32)) - u32_Time) : (uint32_t) (u32_Tick - u32_Time));   return u32_ElapsedTimer; }And final HAL code:... tickstart = HAL_GetTick(); while (Something()) { if (Timeout != HAL_MAX_DELAY) { if ((HAL_GetElapsedTimer(tickstart) > Timeout) || (
