I have problem to to read from the chip.The Datasheet is used is the: DocID018669 from STAt first i want to try the echo command to know if the chip is available.Hardware Connections:SSI_1 to GNDSSI_0 to 3.3VSPI-Interface(CLK/CS/MISO/MOSI) to MCUSPI_Interuppt_IN(UART_RX) to MCU GPIOfor the CS/SSI_1/SSI_0/SPI_Interrupt i used a 3.3K pull up resistorsThe for the SPI_CLK I try different frequency below 2MHz for example : 800KHzFor the Code I show you some pseudocode so someone can tell me if i make a failure:MCU_Init(); SPI_start();   /*toggel Intterupt for Boot up Sequence*/ writeGPIO(RFID_Interrupt_In,HIGH); delayMS(1); writeGPIO(RFID_Interrupt_In,LOW); delayMS(1); writeGPIO(RFID_Interrupt_In,HIGH); delayMS(20);   /*Sende Echo command*/ txBuffer[0]=0; txBuffer[1]=CR95HF_CMD.ECHO;/*0x55*/ SPI_Write(txBuffer,2);   while(1){/*never return*/ /*Send Poll Command*/ txBuffer[0]=CR95HF_CMD.POLL;/*0x03*/ SPI_Write(txBuffer,1);   /*wait until Chip respons with ready*/ SPI

Hi,since a couple of days i tried to get the STEVAL-ROBOT-1 up and running properly. But as i mentioned here:https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W000003yGcdSAE/to-choice-a-kit-for-pmsmyesterday, i got more problems, than i would have expected from libraries, provided by a "mature" company like ST.Ok, giving up is not an option... So meanwhile i figured out, what´s wrong (After around 30 hours of search...). But step by step: After many problems, importing the (actual) STSW-ROBOT-1 into cubeIDE and getting it to be built, i faced problems with unreliable position control, unexpected behaviour with torque regulation, unexpected moving motor and so on. Until yesterday i thought, it´s maybe just an error in some overflow calculation, but THIS is even worse:In the file trajectory_ctrl.c , located in the folder \MCSDK_v5.4.3\MotorControl\MCSDK\MCLib\Any\Src , Lines 341 - 354 , the function void TC_EncoderReset(PosCtrl_Handle_t *pHandle) is the problem:This function is called within the E

Hey guys. I am facing with annoying problem. i have designed my own custom stm32 board with stm32f103cbt6 mcu. At the beginning, when i try to burn bootloader via stlink, I successfully did it and i could programmed my custom pcb via usb. the PC13 led was blinking with properly. but suddenly it goes. usb didn`t work and when i tried to burn bootloader again, stlink can not connect and it says the core is held in reset. do you have any idea about it? i have googled it several times, i found some solutions but they didn`t work for mine.

Hello,I'm using a Nucleo F446ZE to test timer capabilities to make a peak-and-hold PWM driver. I already have the core functionality where TIM1 uses DMA to run through a buffer of variable duty cycles at a higher frequency (e.g. 5 kHz) for the high-side mosfet. TIM2 is triggered by TIM1 to produce a synchronized signal that is low frequency (e.g. 1 Hz) for the low-side mosfet.The problem I have now is making a third timer output that is synchronized to the first two but with a programmable phase shift. In reality I do have code that will make a synchronized, phase-shifted signal as shown in the image but there is an issue.Image legend: TIM1 high-frequency (yellow), TIM2 low-frequency (cyan), TIM2 phase-shift falling-edge trigger (magenta), and TIM3 phase-shifted signal (blue).What’s supposed to happen is that the blue line goes high on the falling edge of the magenta line, as seen in the 2nd half of the scope image. And this method does work except for the very first output cycle as se

In the document UM1775 there is stated the following:"5 V and 3 V can be used as output power supplies when an extension board isconnected to pins P2 and P3....In this case, the 5V_O and 3V_O pins deliver a 5 V or 3.3 V power supply and thepower consumption of the extension board must be lower than 100 mA."Yet, the Supply for 3V_O is gated through T2 which in turn is controlled by PB15 on the SM32F103 (PWR_ENn); I guess that this is the controller which handles the ST-Link and cannot be changed. How does this controller determine if there is an extension board connected to P2 or P3 so that it enables that supply?

Hi, i want to use node.js on STM32MP157C-DK2. I found this post https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X0000B0xovG/installing-nodejs-on-the-stm32mp1 , but I dont want to rebuild the imageIs there a way to install node.js without rebuilding the image?I tried this raspberryPi-tutorial: https://www.instructables.com/id/Install-Nodejs-and-Npm-on-Raspberry-Pi/This works fine until I want to check the version withnode -vI get following error:node: error while loading shared libraries: libatomic.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory thanks in advanceLukas

I've looked at the reference design in the application note AN5615 page 13. This micro controller has integrated load capacitors for the high speed external oscillator. In the bottom right package, on the 32Mhz oscillator there is a symbol leading to ground. I do not understand what this specifies in wiring.Do the OSC_In and OSC_Out pins connect to the crystal and then connect to ground? My crystal package has 2 pads for ground as well. Is the diagram referring to these pads being connected to ground?I have attached some pictures of the schematics I am designing. I would greatly appreciate any help.AN5165: https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/dm00504903-development-of-rf-hardware-using-stm32wb-microcontrollers-stmicroelectronics.pdf

I'm having problems loading the CR95HF.dll library into the Visual studio 2019 development environment. When I try to add the file copied in the path C:\Windows\System32\ the system returns the following error: "A reference "CR95HF.dll" can't be added, Please make sure that the file is accessible and that it is a valid assembly or COM component.Can someone help me?

After a fresh install of Fedora32 STM32CubeMX fails to start. Hello everyoneSo I'm trying to read and write 64 byte long list from FT24C16A. I'm using STM32F103C8T6. So first picture displays I2C init for uC. Not problem here. I'm using 3.3 V.//---I2C_init---// static void MX_I2C1_Init(void) {   /* USER CODE BEGIN I2C1_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END I2C1_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE BEGIN I2C1_Init 1 */   /* USER CODE END I2C1_Init 1 */ hi2c1.Instance = I2C1; hi2c1.Init.ClockSpeed = 400000; hi2c1.Init.DutyCycle = I2C_DUTYCYCLE_2; hi2c1.Init.OwnAddress1 = 0; hi2c1.Init.AddressingMode = I2C_ADDRESSINGMODE_7BIT; hi2c1.Init.DualAddressMode = I2C_DUALADDRESS_DISABLE; hi2c1.Init.OwnAddress2 = 0; hi2c1.Init.GeneralCallMode = I2C_GENERALCALL_DISABLE; hi2c1.Init.NoStretchMode = I2C_NOSTRETCH_DISABLE; if (HAL_I2C_Init(&hi2c1) != HAL_OK) { HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart3,"HAL_I2C_Init: ",14,0xFFFF); HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart3,"HAL_ERROR",9,0xFFFF); HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart3,"\r\n",2,0xFFFF); //Error_Handler();

I am using NUCLEO-G474RE as my hardware.STM32CubeIDE V1.3.1 and STM32G4 Fw V1.2.0.I am using ADC2 with 4 channels triggered by HRTIM CH B Compare 4 Injected.So these 4 channels are triggered interleaved, meaning that every HRTIM-CH-B Compare 4 only one ADC channel is triggered according to rank.So for 1st occurrence of Comparewill trigger rank1 then the second compare it will be rank2 so on and so forth until it gets back to rank1 again.I can see that the S/H is working as shown in the waveform below.The circuit is similar to HRTIM cookbook section 7.1 Debugging ADC operation.Below is the HTRIM outputMy setup for ADC2:static void MX_ADC2_Init(void) {   /* USER CODE BEGIN ADC2_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END ADC2_Init 0 */   ADC_InjectionConfTypeDef sConfigInjected = {0};   /* USER CODE BEGIN ADC2_Init 1 */   /* USER CODE END ADC2_Init 1 */ /** Common config */ hadc2.Instance = ADC2; hadc2.Init.ClockPrescaler = ADC_CLOCK_ASYNC_DIV4; hadc2.Init.Resolution

Hi,I was playing around with my STM32h745I-Disco and did some tests regarding starting and stopping the CM4 from the CM7. But I accidantly messed my the option bytes up. I disabled BCM7 and BCM4 with CubeProgrammer and now the chip is not starting anymore. But I can also not connect to with the embedded ST-Link to recover the option bytes. Is there a way to get the board back to work?Thank you and best regardsPhilipp

I have bunch of M24C02 eeproms in some old equipment that I would like to reprogram. I have an ST-Link/V2 installed on an laptop running Windows 10. It has the STM32 STLink driver installed. I also have installed ST Visual Develop. Using this set of software/hardware how shall I proceed to read/write this memory?I believe I should hook up the devices according to this diagram

Hi,I'm playing around HSEM module and i noticed strange behavior. Why calling:HAL_HSEM_FastTake(HSEM_ID_0);orHAL_HSEM_Take(HSEM_ID_0, 0);lock all semaphores at once instead of just locking single semaphore specified by a macro using 0 as processid?Then calling release will unlock only the one specified macro and we end up with 31 semaphores locked unintentionally.

Hi all,I am considering the STM32L073RZ for a low earth orbit application. Would this MCU be suitable for the following operational environment?Altitudes of 590 – 630 km.Temperature environment range is -40°C to +70°C.Total Ionizing Dose (TID) exposure to 12 krad(Si).Would this device be susceptible to outgassing in a vacuum environment?If not suitable then are any alternatives available from ST? I have a strong preference for the ST development environment.Regards

  Hi all I have St-link v2 and I am facing a problem for debugging Cortex M in stm32mp157-ev1. I think it is because of the differences between HW Vesion and FW in keil document and my results.     In attachment image is mentioned stlink v2-1. Shall i use Stlink V2 instead of V2-1? How do I change my version of the Stlink from V2 to V2-1? Best regards

Hi, I am developing a product which has a LCD. So I am using STM32F767zit6 MCU and MT48LC4M32B2 SDRAM on my custom board. I want to know is there any tutorial or example there which i can referrer to generate code form cubemx and test my SDRAM. I have a stm32f7508 -dk and I tried to use the example code provided in STM32Cube_FW_F7_V1.15.0\Projects\STM32F7508-DISCO\Examples\FMC\FMC_SDRAM. When open the project in CUBEMX, i didnt see 0xC0000800 memory area changes. But i opened the same project using keil. Then it works. I want to know how to configure FMC module and write some code to verify the SDRAM. I have attached the project I m working.Thanks,Kasun

Hello,I'm trying to control the boot behavior of my STM32L412 development board which has a floating BOOT0 hardware pin.I'm trying to clear the SWBOOT0 bit in FLASH_OPTR using firmware. So far I am able to unlock the register and clear the bit. This works while the target is running, but as soon as I do a system reset, the FLASH_OPTR reverts back to a value of 0xFBFFF8AA. My code to clear the SWBOOT0 bit is below and all runs fine. What can I do to make FLASH_OPTR survive a system reset?__ramfunc void ClearSWBOOT0Pin(){     HAL_FLASH_Unlock();     HAL_FLASH_OB_Unlock();     CLEAR_BIT(FLASH->OPTR, FLASH_OPTR_nSWBOOT0_Msk);     CLEAR_BIT(FLASH->OPTR, FLASH_OPTR_nBOOT0_Msk);     SET_BIT(FLASH->OPTR, FLASH_OPTR_nBOOT1_Msk);   HAL_FLASH_OB_Lock();  HAL_FLASH_Lock();   }

I'm struggling to create a simple touchgfx based project with cubemx for my F769I Disco board.I thought this is a simple job since there is nothing special. But I got and get stuck at several places.I created a new project using Board Selector and selecting "32F769IDISCOVERY", adding additional software "touch gfx"Now "LTDC Blending Factors: PAxCA not required for RGB565/RGB888" is redGenerating code created warning : "These IPs still have some not configured or wrong parameter values: [...TouchGFX..4.13...]"Application Structure seems to be set to "Advanced" otherwise files are missing in IAR 8 project.IAR 7 project is not compilable since intrinsics h is included in wrong order. (with IAR 7.70)Default save directory is inside user folder, this is not working since touchgfx does not support spaces in the pathSeems I have to open the created Touchgfx project in TouchGFX Designer and press "Generate Code"But after fiddling around all these issues, the project does not fit into the RAM,

Hi. I have generated a full device tree for the EV1 to add I2C5 pins PA11/PA12 for external connector hookup to some of my I2C widgets using STM32CubeMX. I've place the generated .dts file from the kernel/ folder into <linux-source>/arch/arm/boot/dts.I am now following the Wiki athttps://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/How_to_compile_the_device_tree_with_the_Developer_Packagein section 5.3.. . .PC $> pushd $WORKDIR/kernel/kernel-sources(ok)PC $> make O="$PWD/../build" multi_v7_defconfig(ok)PC $> for f in `ls -1 ../../sources/arm-openstlinux_weston-linux-gnueabi/linux-stm32mp-4.19-r0/fragment*.config`; do scripts/kconfig/merge_config.sh -m -r -O $PWD/../build $PWD/../build/.config $f; done(ok)PC $> make oldconfig O="$PWD/../build"(STOP)PROBLEM. Hi All,So I've beern trying to write to the registers of the comparator 2 but when I debug , the values of the registers don't change. This leads me to believe that I have an issue getting the clock to the peripheral.I have a 16 MHz external XTAL which according to the RCC config below (unless I made a mistake) should give me 32 MHz at the APB2 bus which is used fro COMP 2XTAL (16 MHz) /2 = 8 Mhz -> PLL -> PLLMMUL = 8 MHz * 9 = 72 MHz -> HCLK = 72 MHz / 2 = 36 MHz -> PCLK2 (APB2) / 1 = 36 MHzRCC->CR |= RCC_CR_HSEON; //HSE on while((RCC->CR & RCC_CR_HSERDY) != RCC_CR_HSERDY); // Waiting for HSE to be ready RCC->CR &= ~RCC_CR_PLLON; // Disable PLL while((RCC->CR & RCC_CR_PLLRDY)== RCC_CR_PLLRDY); // Wait for pll to turn off RCC->CFGR = RCC_CFGR_PLLSRC_HSE_PREDIV | RCC_CFGR_PLLMUL9 | RCC_CFGR_HPRE_DIV1 | RCC_CFGR_PPRE1_DIV2 | RCC_CFGR_PLLXTPRE_HSE_PREDIV_DIV2;//PLLSCR = HSE/2 , PLLMUL = x9 (72Mhz),AHB prescaler not devided, APB1 Clock /2 = 36MHz

According to the STM32H7 reference manual (RM0433), there is only a single 128kB sector of user flash space available for STM32H750xB devices (0x08000000 - 0x0801FFFF).Other devices in the STM32H7 family (H742xI, H743xI, H753xI) have 2 banks of 8 128kB sectors, totaling 2MB of user flash available (0x08000000 - 0x081FFFFFF). During initial testing with an STM32H750xB device, it was discovered that flash beyond bank 1 sector 0 (0x08000000 - 0x0801FFFF) could be written to and read from, contrary to the indication in the reference manual for this device. Flash sectors starting at 0x08020000 and 0x08060000 could be used.Seeking an explanation for why flash sectors beyond the stated range seem usable for STM32H750xB devices and if there are any precautions to take when using these sectors.Has anyone encountered something like this with any of the STM32 MCU families?
