I am using Powerstep01 and STM32 MCU. I have a requirement where the stepper driver should stop when certain hardware conditions are met. Is there any way that I can implement this?

Table 4 of UM2667 says: PA0_SPI_IRQ_PB14_BNRG1BOOT: Default STM32 port = PA0Optional STM32 port = PB14To use the optional port, mount R82 and unmount R85However, on my X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1, both R82 and R85 are mounted. What should I do?

Using a STM32L562E-DK. Also using a uLinkPro SW probe.

Hello GuysLike the subject, I want change the interface RGMII to RMII using CubeMX.(RealTek-RTL8211EG-VB-CG => Microchip - LAN8720AI-CP)Based on STM32MP157C-EV1 Code in CubeMX, I changed the Ethernet option from RGMII to RMII as shown in the picture below.And after Code Generating, I applied it to my addon(mx) directory and built it.(Changed to the code generated by CubeMX.) eth1_pins_mx: eth1_mx-0 { pins1 { pinmux = <STM32_PINMUX('A', 1, AF11)>, /* ETH1_REF_CLK */ <STM32_PINMUX('C', 1, AF11)>, /* ETH1_MDC */ <STM32_PINMUX('G', 13, AF11)>, /* ETH1_TXD0 */ <STM32_PINMUX('G', 14, AF11)>; /* ETH1_TXD1 */ bias-disable; drive-push-pull; slew-rate = <1>; }; pins2 { pinmux = <STM32_PINMUX('A', 2, AF11)>; /* ETH1_MDIO */ bias-disable; drive-push-pull; slew-rate = <0>; }; pins3 { pinmux = <STM32_PINMUX('A', 7, AF11)>, /* ETH1_CRS_DV */ <STM32_PINMUX('C', 4, AF11)>, /* ETH1_RXD0 */ <STM32_PINMUX('C', 5, AF11)>; /

I am trying to configure PC13 as output with RTC_LSE_ON condition in stm32f429 microcontrollerbut it stays high or low as per pull up/ pull down configuration.Welcome for any suggestionsRegards,Santosh Pawar

I had using STM32CubeIDE to generate ADC1 single channel with Timer 6 trigger on 1sec. In HAL library, everything work perfectly and I can see ADC interrupt happen exactly on 1sec interval. But when switch to LL library, same project but the interrupt happen slightly delay, like 1.052s. Just curious what's causing this? can anyone point me out. ThanksBelow is my sample code:int main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */   /* USER CODE END 1 */   /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/   /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */   LL_APB4_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_APB4_GRP1_PERIPH_SYSCFG);   NVIC_SetPriorityGrouping(NVIC_PRIORITYGROUP_4);   /* System interrupt init*/ /* SysTick_IRQn interrupt configuration */ NVIC_SetPriority(SysTick_IRQn, NVIC_EncodePriority(NVIC_GetPriorityGrouping(),15, 0));   /* USER CODE BEGIN Init */   /* USER CODE END Init */   /* Configure t

Just starting with STM32 on STM32L562 DK using CubeIDE and trying example in video. Debugger halts on error trying to initialize SD card, which is not used in this project. From the video it looks like MX_SDMMC1_SD_Init() is called there too.if (HAL_SD_Init(&hsd1) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); }

The code generation of tsl_user.h from the .ioc file appears to be broken.Firstly if you change the TS configuration in System Core, the updated configuration doesn't show up in Touchsensing middleware options until you have saved the .ioc file or closed and reopened it.Secondly and critically the generated file doesn't reflect the configuration. Creating a system with four basic keys on Groups 1-4, it always configured Channel 0 as G2_IO2 even if that was not configured or was used elsewhere. Reducing this to a two-key system just using Groups 3&4 crashed Java, see attached files.

Hello folks,I want to create my own library.However, it seems I cannot send SPI_HandleTypedef between the main source and my library file. My codes are not even close to the finish, but I placed in here so that maybe I have different issues that I may miss.*FOR THE ONES WHO ARE CURIOUS:I am planning to get data from UART (I DON'T KNOW WHY BUT I COULDN'T RUN VCP), and get time via RTC. Lastly, print that info in a presentable shape to LCD.I use Tilen Majerle codes (for SPI initializing). https://github.com/MaJerle/stm32f429/tree/master/08-STM32F429_ILI9341I couldn't be able to make LCD work on my own. I thought maybe I have a problem with SPI initializing. that's some irrelevant info but for someone who is interested.Thanks for your attention and help,Kind Regards.Serkan KAŞ

What registers do we need to set to generate the minimum motion interrupt on INT1? The picture included contains what we have tried so far.

I'm attempting to configure peripherals in STM32CubeMX, but I'm getting error_handler calls from my DMA configuration for ADC1.All the necessary peripherals (DMA1 channel1, ADC1) are configured as secure in CubeMX, but when HAL_ADC_MspInit attempts to set the SECM bit for hdma_adc1, the write fails. I am running only a secure image (i.e., no non-secure image is loaded). In IAR, "TrustZone" is enabled, and set to "Secure" mode.On boot, I call the following, in order:    HAL_Init();    SystemClock_Config();    MX_GTZC_S_Init();    MX_ICACHE_Init();    MX_DMA_Init();    MX_GPIO_Init();    MX_ADC1_Init();The Error Handler is hit when attempting to set hdma_adc1's source point, which is secure.

In clock configuration for STM32H723ZET the oscillator input is limited to 4-48MHz.The datasheet says 4-50MHz.I'm using a 49.152MHz oscillator in bypass mode and this results in a clock tree error.

when i debugging:pic1:pic2:pic3: datasheet:According to the data sheet, after the reset operation, CMOD should be 0, but it is actually 1. Why? The code generated by CUBEMX cannot be used I use the USB3300 chip for the interface.

1. Select STM32MP151A2. Select an GPIOx and set to GIPIO_EXTx3.Select again GPIO under Pinout View, right click -> Pin Reserved -> Cortex-M44. Goto NVIC: EXTI lineX interrupt Enable Check.5. Select any of the peripheral devices, enable Cortex-A7 or Cortex-M4, and disable it.6. Goto NVIC: The enabled EXTI lineX is automatically changed to disable.And Pin Reserved for the corresponding pin is automatically changed from Cortex-M4 to Free.It is very inconvenient that the set EXTI is all initialized due to the above phenomenon.Is the way I proceeded wrong? Or maybe it's a STM32CubeIDE(1.6.0) bug. Please check.

Hi,I am using STM32F469 discovery kit for a audio processing study. I am using STM32CubeMX (ver 6.2.0) for project setup and init code generation. In my application, I found a clock sync problem on MIC and Codec Playback. After some tracings, I found the code seemed different to GUI setting. On GUI, I took PLLI2SQ for SAI-A clock source as below:but I found that auto-gen code was set to SAI_CLKSOURCE_PLLSAI. Then I manually changed it to SAI_CLKSOURCE_PLLI2S, then sync problem seemed gone.Would it be a bug of the tool? Or would I miss something else?Good day,Young

Hello All,I tried to generate a test project with STM32CubeMX version 6.1.2 for micro STM32F334R8. I setup my project to generate mostly LL libraries, when setting the clock configuration, HSI (8MHz RC) is enabled, AHB prescaler is /8, then APB2 prescaler is set to /2. My intention is to have Pclk2 set to 500KHz here. When I generate the code from STM32CubeMX with these settings, the below SystemClock_Config function is generated. Line 32 is setting again APB1 prescaler, instead of APB2. Is it a known bug? I have no problem in updating the generated code, but everytime I regenerate the code, I would have to update this line of code. It would be nice also that other people do not have to spend some time trying to debug this.Is there a more recent version or should I do something different with my STM32CubeMX?Thanks,void SystemClock_Config(void) { LL_FLASH_SetLatency(LL_FLASH_LATENCY_0); while(LL_FLASH_GetLatency()!= LL_FLASH_LATENCY_0) { } LL_RCC_HSI_Enable();   /* Wait till

I have here the setup of CubeMX when I compile, the HRTIMF1 does not reset from HRTIME1 CMP1.So I add manually the codepTimerCfg.ResetTrigger = HRTIM_TIMRESETTRIGGER_OTHER5_CMP1;Attached is the ioc file.

I'm using a STM32G031J6 MCU in my project and i need to use the reset pin as a GPIO. From what i read on the reference manual this can be done by setting the NRST_MODE option bit to 2 (GPIO). However the issue i'm facing is that if the reset pin is held LOW when the MCU is powered up it still function as a reset pin regardless of NRST_MODE setting and prevent the MCU from running my program. So my guess is that even if the NRST_MODE is set to GPIO it is not effective right on power up but instead the mode is "set" somewhere in the booting process. I cannot find any information on how much time passes between the MCU power up and the moment when reset pin is set to GPIO, if anybody have some more infos I would be very thankful.Best regards, Lorenzo

Hello everyone,I'm trying to use TouchGFX on my custom board Mikromedia 7 Capacitive.Currently, I've no OS and I generated TouchGFX folder with TouchGFX Generator partial framebuffer strategy. The problem is as soon as I receive my tearing effect interrupt from my SSD1963 (Graphics Controller), I get into the HardFault_Handler, like this : Have you an idea of the reason ? Thanks for your help.

Hi guys, i would ask if someone has a tutorial that shows how to connect a sensortile to Azure IoT. I have already created an IoT apllication on Microsotf Azure, i have Device Id and the SAS (Shared Access Signatures) but i don't understand what i have to put into the field "HostName".I found this Mqtt string template to use "Hostname=;DeviceId=;SharedAccessKey=;"Thanks for all who will help me.Regards, Alex.

Hi, I am studying for ultra-high speed PMSM (about 100krpm, 700~1000W).The motor is 2pole/3slots/3-phases sensorless motor.I think STSPIN32G4 is a suitable driver for my motor in the electrical specification.Just I want to check that I can freely control the motor using the driver with X-CUBE-MCSDK (I mean torque and speed controls).Thank you.

1) Port Details of this BSP - LED, BT, Sensors GPIO configuration details. In the source how shall I find it. Example if I download en.stsw-stlkt01, where shall I find the pin configuration details2) Similar to UART and Sensors and BT Step by step guide , Starting from a new project to adding the details. 3) In sample code for BT where shall I find the device name, class name and advertisement request etc.,I am new to ST mircoontroller

Hello!my name is Franz Joseph Pal and I am a PhD student at the University of Applied Sciences in Karlsruhe, Germany. My work as a PhD student involves a comparison of different MEMS sensors and their specifications. The goal is to work out the requirements of the sensors for vibration analysis.We plan to publish a paper with first results at the end of October and want to refer to the whitepaper "Capacitive MEMS accelerometer for condition monitoring" from ST. Is it possible to know the exact date when this whitepaper was published so that we can properly reference it?link of resource: https://www.st.com/content/ccc/resource/technical/document/white_paper/group0/c0/30/46/2f/00/24/42/1c/Capacitive_MEMS_accelerometer_for_condition_monitoring/files/MEMS_Condition_monitoring.pdf/jcr:content/translations/en.MEMS_Condition_monitoring.pdfThanks in advance.Greetings,Franz Joseph Pal
