I have a simple task, to wake up the CPU when the device is shaken. It should be pretty simple, the MEMS sensor samples with 10Hz until I shake it, then it samples with 100Hz, but I get no interrupt. :(I use the driver form GIT hub and Interrupt INT1https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/lis2de12/tree/21b9d1a565882a242143453580efb6abcd450686My CODE: /* Set full scale to 2g */ lis2de12_full_scale_set(&(phandler->ctx), LIS2DE12_2g); /* route HP filter output on outputs registers */ lis2de12_high_pass_on_outputs_set(&(phandler->ctx), PROPERTY_ENABLE); /* route HP filter output on interrupt generator 1 */ lis2de12_high_pass_int_conf_set(&(phandler->ctx), LIS2DE12_ON_INT1_INT2_GEN); /* HP filter mode is "autoreset on inteerupt event" */ lis2de12_high_pass_mode_set(&(phandler->ctx), LIS2DE12_NORMAL_WITH_RST); /* Set HP filter on mode */ lis2de12_high_pass_bandwidth_set(&(phandler->ctx), LIS2DE12_AGGRESSIVE); /* Configure interrupt on threshold on x,y,z axis l

Hello, I am using a B-G431B-ESC1 board and want to set up my motor with speed control via back emf in MotorControl Workbench 5.4.7 or 5.Y.2 (I checked both there and there). On the board, these are pins PA4, PC4, PB11 and PB5, but I don't see this initialized in the SDK. In the speed sensing section, I have sensor-less (Observer + PLL) installed.

Hi,we are starting to learn about LwIP in order to create a http server in a stm32f4. At this moment we have a functional hardware that act as http client using a modem with AT Commands (the quectel MC60). However, now we have been asked to create a server over this hardware, and we thought about using LwIP with PPPos in order to get it. However we dont find a lot of info related to this...We have found the ST examples of LwIP (LwIP_TCP_Echo_Server, etc) but anything about PPP. Would someone know if there are some functional examples or documentation? Or at least if it is difficult to get this to work? Thank you in advance for the help.

Hi?I want to import cellular software expansion by package creator. However, it shows that JAVA FX is missing in the run time environment. Even, I have re-installed STM32 MX again. Any solution to solve this issue?

Hi, I have purchased an STEVAL-MKI109V3 and the STEVAL-MKI207V1 (ISM330DHCX)I followed the instructions in section 4 in dm00331058-stevalmki109v3-professional-mems-tool-motherboard-for-mems-adapter-boards-stmicroelectronics.pdf to stream the dataIf I type in the incorrect adaptor board in the hyperterminal (setdb105v1) I get the results in fig 1. If I type in the correct one setdb207v1, I get what’s show in figure 2, which is no data being receivedThe 3 led (blue, orange and red) are all lit upI am really struggling to get the accelerometer and gyroscope data, I would really appreciate your help in this matter

I'm working on a project that a series of duty cycles must be measured. A sample of related waveforms is displayed below: As you can see from the signal, the frequency is too high, and calculating it using bit functions is impossible. In the controller's tech website here, they used the timer's input capture modes and rising-falling edges interrupt for calculating the difference between two captures of the timer. But this method is too slow and cannot fulfill our desires for high-frequency signals. The other solution is to use DMA for fast transferring the capture data to the memory. But in STM32cubemx it is not possible to assign two DMAs for two captures of a timer as you can see below: Could someone give me a suggestion for this issue?

Hello there!   I am trying to edit the USB_WEBCAM example application provided under FP_AI_VISION1 package for STM32CubeAI on STM32H747I-DISCO development kit. I want to add debug logs using the STLink Virtual com port UART interface, which as per the user manual is connected to USART1 of the MCU. Since the Example application doesn't come with a CubeMX .ioc file, I had to add the related initialization and handling code manually.   Therefore, I created another standalone project using CubeMX and configured the USART1 for the same and I was able to print logs using the STLink Virtual com port. Then I tried adding the same generated code and included the required stm32h7xx_hal_uart.c, stm32h7xx_hal_uart_ex.c and related header files to the USB_WEBCAM example application. I also tried to adjust the previous clock configuration of the example by adding the missing settings as in the standalone project, but I kept the PLL multipliers as is. With these changes the USB_WEBCAM examp

I'm trying to clean up some code I used to figure out how to use the UARTs on a STM32H7A3. The STM examples declares the data to be sent out like this:ALIGN_32BYTES(uint8_t txBuffer[]) = " *****UART_TwoBoards comm ... ";ALIGN_32BYTES is defined like this #define ALIGN_32BYTES(buf) buf __attribute__ ((aligned (32))) I'd like to declare an array of struct like this:struct Commands //TODO this should be const { uint8_t numBytes; uint32_t timeout; uint8_t cmd[]; }; Commands commands[numCmds];but this: ALIGN_32BYTES(uint8_t command[PUBX00].cmd[]) = "$PUBX,00*33\r\n";gives this error at the . between [PUBX00] and cmd[][Clang IntelliSense] Error: expected ';' Any ideas how to fix this will be greatly appreciated

Which is better for network communication, STM32F429 or STM32F407? I would like to ask for your opinion and whether it is possible to use DMA transfer? Or if there is a better solution？ thanks!

Is there any function or library associated with STM32 Device to convert the UTC time to Local Time and Vice versa ?

I wanted to use RTC in both my cores M7 and M4. Is RTC a shared peripheral ? Can we use RTC to set or get time from any core asynchronously ? Please share any configuration need to be done for doing so ?

I'm configuring I2C4 as a slave receiver, using interrupt method. I noticed that when the I2C master (another MCU) sends the slave address, I2C4 detects an address match and sets the ADDR flag in the I2C4->ISR register. What baffles me is that at this point I2C4 holds the SCK line low and communication will not proceed. The only way I can avoid this 'stuck' situation is to enable the ADDRIE interrupt which will fire on an address match and I manually clear the ADDR flag.I'm familiar with I2C protocol, but this is my first experience with STM32 I2C peripheral, and I thought it's strange that an address match event must be explicitly acknowledged (by clearing a flag) by software. Is this the normal behavior of I2C slave in STM32H7? I'm using the STM32H723ZG Nucleo board.Below is my initialization code (for brevity I omitted the clock and pin configuration from the listing, they checked out all right). // Disable I2C4. I2C4->CR1 &= ~I2C_CR1_PE; while(I2C4->CR1 & I2C_CR

This is just a test. Has anybody else been unable to submit questions? I keep getting a red error message.

--The first error encounters while trying to connect the board (STM32H7A3ZI-Q) with STM32Cube Programmer at normal mode.--The second error encounters while trying to upload a code through STM32Cube IDE. However, when I try to connect the board with STM32Cube Programmer at power down mode, it successfully connect .Hence, being a naïve in this area, I hope everyone helps me out to find the solutions. Thank you.

RTC was set in Cube MX. (0y/0M/0d 0h:0m:0s)A backup register is used to store the date and time. For example, if you press the reset button at 0/0/0 0:1:1, RTC is activated from 1m 1s.But when I turn off the power and turn on the power again, it goes back to 0/0/0 0:0:0.And the backup register value is cleared.I checked that HAL_RTCEx_BKUPWrite() is executed again.I think it should work from the time the power is turned off.Does RTC backup return to Cube MX settings when power is turned off?Is the backup register value also deleted?static void MX_RTC_Init(void){  /* USER CODE BEGIN RTC_Init 0 */  __HAL_RCC_RTC_ENABLE();  __HAL_RCC_RTCAPB_CLK_ENABLE();  /* USER CODE END RTC_Init 0 */  RTC_TimeTypeDef sTime = {0};  RTC_DateTypeDef sDate = {0};  /* USER CODE BEGIN RTC_Init 1 */  /*&n

I have an STM32MP157D-DK1 board, and I'm trying to build a custom Linux image for it with the Yocto Project.
